DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHING HERE! I made the unfortunate mistake of taking my wife's leather jacket to Lighthouse Point Cleaners for cleaning. They informed me that the jacket would be ready in about a week. However, after two weeks passed, we called the business, and they told us the jacket was still not ready. For the next several weeks, we continued to follow up with Lighthouse Point Cleaners. Finally, after a month, they contacted us to say the jacket was ready for pickup. When we brought the jacket home, it was immediately clear that the entire back leather panel had been removed and replaced with a plastic material. There were tear marks throughout the inside, and new stitching on the outside, showing that the jacket had been taken apart and sewn back together. The designer pattern on the top shoulder was even sewn back on in the wrong direction. When we returned the jacket to the cleaners, they claimed they were unaware of the damage and would not be able to provide any reimbursement or replacement for the jacket outside of "store credit" (unfortunately for us, the jack is around $5,000). They also refused to provide the owner's name or contact information. We called the police to file a report, and the responding officer informed us that they are consistently called to this business for similar reasons. We visited the business three more times in an attempt to speak with the owner, but they wouldn't share any information and claimed that the owner had already called us to resolve the issue (we never received any calls or voicemails). At this point, we've filed complaints with LHP's code enforcement and Broward County Consumer Protection Services. We'll be pursuing a small claims suit against the business, but we're not optimistic about receiving financial compensation. Our primary goal is to warn others and prevent potential customers from experiencing the same. From conversations around the community, it's clear this kind of behavior is a pattern at Lighthouse Point Cleaners and I wish the city could do something about this. read more

I rarely find a dry cleaner open early and close late all I can say is omg in 1 hours they give me all my clothes to travel . The customer service is wonderful, the service is .... I can't find the word to. Describe them they do a wonderful job thank you guys. read more

It is unfortunately that this cleaners have been sold. After 20+ of bringing my dry cleaning to them I had to quit going there. They have replaced all the staff and the current staff is incompetent, as well as rude and uncaring. Shirts were not laundered correctly and were not pressed, when I brought them back the guy in the front was complaining about the previous customer to me and after I pointed out the stains the failed to removed he was giving me attitude and asked if I thought he put the stains there. I simply said I just thought they did not cleaned them. After I came back for a 3rd time to pick up the shirts, they were still stained and poorly pressed. Will not go back and wish I knew who owns to place to they understand why they lost my business. read more

PLEASE, Do NOT take anything to this cleaners for alterations! They say that they have 25 yrs experience, but as a novice seamstress myself I could have done a much better job.  I took my daughter's prom dress here for a simple hem and it came back 5 inches too short! It's now even too short when she is barefoot. My daughter was absolutely devistated, as was I. It was pinned for proper length with the shoes she is wearing to prom. Unfortunately, they cut the "extra" material off and there is not enough left in the hem to "fix" this horrible mistake. I went back to talk to them about it and they tried to tell that it was MY fault there was problem with the dress in the first place and told me to bring it back that they would fix it, but wouldn't discuss with me how. He just asked me " when you go to a restaurant, do you ask them how they are going to cook your food"? I'm sorry, but when I go to a place like this, I assume they have a certain level of expertise as it is their business after all. read more

Horrible dishonest business. Do not trust them with your clothes. If they ruin it, they will NOT replace item. We had a clothing item altered and they altered it too small. It was now too small to wear. They were not able to make it fit. They said they would not replace the item. read more

This place is extremely dishonest. I brought in three pairs of shorts to be altered in the waist. The sun measured them and his mother was to alter them. When I came to pick them up all three pairs of shorts were altered too much and did not fit me. At first they got into an argument with me and told me that it was my fault somehow. Finally, the father (I'm assuming), told me to go get new shorts and he would reimburse me. I brought in the new shorts with the receipt and he told me that he needed the receipt and the tags so that he could return the shorts they ruined back to the store. I told him this was extremely dishonest and that I don't want him doing that. He told me that since I couldn't give him the tags, he would only give me $15 for each of them...even though they cost $59.99 plus tax to replace. I will never go back here again. read more

I don't normally write reviews but I was very impressed with this place. I recently had my work uniforms cleaned and they came back better than ever before. The service was quick and the prices are great! The icing on the cake for me was when i picked up my uniforms. As I was leaving the store, I ran into the owner/manager. I've been coming to LHP Cleaners to get my clothes dry cleaned since the year 2015. As soon as I walk inside LHP Cleaners, I am greeted within seconds by the friendly staff. I believe the prices are good for the quality of dry cleaning that they execute. My suits/clothes always look brand new again after I get them dry cleaned.
