Updating my review since I came here to eat in person. As suspected, eating here is the way to go. I have had Berlin on my list of places to try in person and it did not disappoint. Restaurant is pretty small with 2 tables inside and shared seating outside. The employees were all super friendly. I ordered the sandwich this time because I saw someone else order it and it looked very tasty with chicken and original sauce. The doner came out fairly quickly. The inside was exactly how I remembered it. The meat was generous and tender. The veggies were fresh. Everything was so much better when I ate it there. Also, the bread was nice crunchy. Definitely this doner should be eaten there for the full experience. I am definitely going to come back here next time my doner craving hits. A few logistics, there's a small lot for parking but I can see it getting crowded during peak time. And no restroom inside.

Doner meat

NEGATIVE -5 out of 5 ! If you want dry not juicy old doner meat and chicken this is the place HORRIBLE FOOD UNEATABLE Meat is horrible and dry no flavor Chicken dry no flavor Rice horrible sitting around all day They forgot my second sauce Very bad experience never again

Doner Sandwich. Kabob tasted like space hydrogenated chicken. Also weird taste.

Horrible. Absolute trash. One of the worst middle-eastern style sandwiches and the first and last time I order anything doner or Turkish style pita breaded sandwich probably ever. What a joke. I have no idea what I deserved to get such terrible quality but here goes: I ordered the chicken kabob style 'classic doner sandwich' with fries. Truly absolutely disgusting. I've never had hydrogenated chicken breast, but it was quite leathery and had zero flavor . No salt. No pepper. No spices . Tasted like old jerked shoe leather space hide meant for Apollo missions. I mean it tasted like imitation 'veggie' chicken meat, but it wasn't . Taste was that bizarre. Fries were no better. Over cooked, and tasted like it had been sunbathing under the lamp for hours. À horrid experience . I cannot believe for the life of me that Berlins has like over a thousand reviews with an aggregate 4.5 stars. Success must be going to the chefs head !

Stopped by Berlins German Doner on a Tuesday afternoon for a quick snack and had a great experience. The place is casual but clean, and the service was extremely friendly. You order at the counter, and while the menu is limited, the food really delivers. We tried the Doner Box with beef--super tasty meat, extra crispy fries, and flavorful sauces that tied everything together. Great spot for a satisfying bite. Will definitely be back!

I come to Berlin's all the time because my barbershop is in the same plaza. Almost every time I get a haircut, I end up grabbing a sandwich here--it's become a routine. Mateas and Luis are the best. They're respectful, fast, and genuinely know how to take care of customers. I've even seen them give free sides like French fries when orders take longer than expected, which shows real appreciation and good service. I usually get the chicken wrap or the doner with house sauce, hot, and spicy. I'm not personally a fan of lamb, but a lot of people love it, so it's worth trying. The chicken, though, is a must.

Donar beef and lamb , drink and fries. About 20 dollars with tip . A good value, and a delicious sandwich. I've come here enough to fill up several cards with the stamps. I'm never disappointed.

We just revisited Berlin's and found it to be as delicious as ever! We ordered the Chicken Doňer Wrap and kept wanting me. Very flavorful. The shop was spotless and inviting. The two male employees (Saturday early evening) were very nice and welcoming. We drove a distance from the South Bay just for Berlin's! We'll be back, of course, but wish you opened another location down in the beach cities. We'd be your best customers! Great food!

Came here on a Thursday evening around 6 to grab dinner. It's impossible to find Berliner-style döner kebab in the US, so I have to try it when I see it. It's a small shop with limited seating and the folks working there were incredibly friendly. I put in an order at the counter for the beef and lamb Döner sandwich with feta and the spicy sauce as well as a side of pita and garlic aioli. The flavor was a thing of beauty, I haven't had anything as good as this since my first time having Berliner-style döner in 2014 in Europe. It tasted so good that I went back and put in an order for a chicken Döner sandwich with feta and spicy sauce. This one was also incredible. So glad I came here and will definitely seek it out again the next time I'm in LA. Highly, highly, highly recommend coming here!

Don't quite know what to make of this place. Food is fresh and bright and tasty, but a bit above normal market prices. I ate my whole rice bowl in one sitting (chipotle usually lasts me 2). For $20 it's just not a substantial amount of food. Don't know if it was just a lacking day lol. Service staff are great, keep it clean, very prompt and professional. Also why is it named and classified German?! Maybe i'm uneducated here but it didn't taste German at all! Enjoyed it though. Still would come back though, simply because the food tastes real and clean. It's worth the price for the quality upgrade here in my opinion.

Lamb and beef combo is the best. Juicy, spiced right, never dry-just perfection in every wrap.

Five stars! Berlins' donor sandwiches are legit delicious-always fresh, packed with flavor, and consistent since way before COVID. Never had a bad bite here. Keep killing it!

Ahhh I miss the doner from Berlin sorely. Really wished this place would fill the hole in my heart but it fell short. Expensive too.

I got the caprese, which was the fan favorite. The monaco (tuna sandwich), which was spicy and tasty. I also got the fiorelli which didn't seem like as much of a crowd pleaser but was still decent. Myself and some others were not a fan of the lemon preserve but with those removed the sandwiches were great.

I preferred my sandwich because I loved the crunch from the pistachios and the sweetness that came from the jam. It was a good size - I only ate about half and saved the rest for later. I originally thought that the amount of guanciale was lacking but it was still an overall well balanced sandwich so I didn't mind while eating. I enjoyed the mushrooms that came in the Colucci but wanted more of the eggplant flavor to come through. For both, I could tell the quality of the ingredients itself and the freshness of the bread - which is KEY! I also got a nutella canelé (which I've never tried) and that was the perfect sweet treat to end off my meal. DEF RECOMMEND! Before you even come in, you can smell the focaccia baking. I came here on a Saturday around 11am and there was no line - it took about 10 minutes to get my sandwiches and there was ample seating inside and out. Street parking was fine - metered and non metered spots all around. Would come again if i'm in the area!!

The restaurant is billed as French-Vietnamese and previously offered pho and related fare but did not have these options on our visit. Our family came on a Saturday evening after an afternoon in the mall. I got the Ahi Tuna burger ($18), a substantial slab of Ahi Tuna steak on a bun with a wasabi mayo and paired with perfectly crispy, well salted frites ($5). We also got the French lobster roll ($26) a decent, but not groundbreaking, sandwich with a spicy sauce. One of our children got the tomato soup ($10) which was phenomenal - creamy and tomatoey - and paired well with grilled cheese. The cafe was clean and positioned with a great view; service was good too, with the waitress making suggestions and accommodating our children's special requests. Prices, as listed above, were excellent for the quality and quantity of food provided in an otherwise quite expensive area. More Parisien then Indochine, Nicholas deserves the unusually high rating it commands for the area. FOOD Bubble Waffle with Pistachio Gelato (5.5/5): Omg! I didn't know they have egg waffle here as well. It's a classic Hong Kong street food that I grew up with, you don't really see it around. The egg waffle is tasty, it doesn't taste bland and not overly seasoned (it has the egg custard-y taste, not too sweet), and it has a light crisp outside. I had a gelato to pair with it. The pistachio flavor is yummy, it has chopped pistachio nuts inside so the texture is rich. If you have a sweet tooth, pair it with a scoop of gelato, they compliment each other well. *finish the gelato first so it doesn't make the egg waffle loose it's crisp Pastrami Brisket Sandwich (5/5): They recommended me the Pastrami Brisket Sandwich and the prosciutto one, I haven't had lunch so I went with the pastrami- it was good. The bread is pretty soft and it's decently portioned, you could share the sandwich. It's a simple sandwich that's healthy and flavourful, you don't feel heavy after eating it. I like that it's not messy to eat (not overly saucey)! They hold the fillings with the little wooden sticks. AMBIENCE Sitting is spacious and clean, it's at the corner of the mall so it's not too crowded. There is enough space to put your shopping bags if you're trying to grab a quick bite around. Service is quite decent, the staff recommended the right stuff. It didn't take a long time for the food to be ready, good for grab and go. OVERALL I think it's a casual spot that serves healthy quick bites, it's a good option to sit down after or in between a shopping spree.
