    Beautiful apples

Love apple picking here! We choose this over Honeypot Farms because it's smaller and you're not in line for an hour...Great variety of apples and still plenty left on the trees. They also offer hotdogs, apple cider slush, apple crisp, and farm animals to feed and pet! Subtracted a star because $40 for a large bag??

This farm is amazing! The family running this farm are all exceptional ppl! They are so nice, welcoming and every family member seems to be on top of making sure that theor patrons are happy. The apples are ample, full and not too picked over like other farms. People are also kindly ushered on their haywagon with respect to the covid rules, so its perfect! I saw 2 ppl who continuously cleaned every few mins, so they are most def staying on top of cleaning and etc.. the apple cider donuts and cider slushies are delicious! What a great start to a great covid fall!

    Pumpkin picking too!

This place had cider slushees so that should honestly be all you need to know. However, I'll also add that the orchards were massive and had a lot more apple varieties than I've seen elsewhere. I also found the prices slightly cheaper. And YES, they do have apple cider donuts that melt in your mouth.

What a great place to take your family to. It's a family run place. Everyone is super friendly. They have a farm stand that has petty amazing homemade jellies, fresh apple cider donuts and hot apple crisp.

Everything about this orchard was PERFECT! At first I felt a bit of disappointment pulling into the lot so empty... then I walked in an purchased a small bag (holding over 20 apples)... everything from the moment on was AMAZING! A short but lovely wagon ride to the apple trees, then very clearly defined directions for specific apples we love... at that point, my 9 yr old son and I had a blast in the fields. As though the only ones around! The apples were beautiful and scrumptious! When WE felt the time was up, we reboarded the wagon and headed back. That's when we had a very clean hand washing station to greet us, surrounded by the most beautiful autumn flowers of Massachusetts... we went inside the little country store, FAMILY owned and operated. Ordered the most flavorful, moist (yet perfectly crisp on the outside) apple cider doughnuts... not done yet... we came across there animals... although small in quantity, this is where the experience REALLY began. The owners daughter, no older then my middle age son (15), came over ever so graciously and began explaining the story of each and every animal... you could see the passion and love on her eyes! That made every second of this "day trip" FAR more special for me and MY SON, then ANYTHING I could have asked for! My SINCERE gratitude to the BERLIN ORCHARDS for doing it ALL RIGHT! Respect, Dignity,Pride, and Hard Work!!! Thank YOU for giving me a place to show MY SON what it all TRULY means!

Hit the Holy Grail of apple orchards!! I am a firm believer of supporting local business and this one offered an Amazing adventure for the entire family. Young and old will be delighted with the activities in store for you here. Oh yeah and let me tell you about the quality and variety of the apples. Soooo darn delicious!! You can buy a bag to pick 1 peck at $25 or $35 for half a bushel. Unlike the larger orchards they don't limit how many people can go to the orchard per bag. Then the journey begins with a fun tractor ride out to the orchards. Once you arrive the rows are all clearly marked by variety. My past apple picking experience was always mediocre apples available to the public. Here your eyes will bug out of your head when you see 5" Mutsu and Jonagold apples! The kids will love the adorable animals to pet Donkeys, goats , pigs, an emu and llama round out the farm. Of course don't forget to complete your visit with their yummy apple cider donuts! This just became my annual place to visit in the fall!,

I see that a couple other reviewers had the same experience as well so it doesn't seem to be a one-off moment. We came here for a Christmas tree and were pleasantly surprised by the selection (December 7th) of really good quality trees and lower prices compared to other places we've bought from in the past (ranging from $60-$80ish). Of note they take cash or check only, they do have an ATM, and the prices listed are a few dollars short of the actual price you'll pay. The teenagers working at the tree stand were very pleasant and got a fresh cut on the tree and strapped it to our car securely and efficiently. The turn for the worse came when we went to pay. The women was talking to us like we were children which was very odd and belittling (hard to portray tone but for example when I handed her the cash she went '$70, oh good job!') then when handing me back change she goes 'and your change to the food pantry?' and drops my change in a donation bucket before even finishing the question...I literally was reaching my hand out to receive the change and she just decided not to give it to me or let me answer the question. I was honestly pissed off about that. It's my money to choose what to do with and socially, how rude is it to put people in a position to have to fish their change out of a donation bin if they hadn't wanted to donate it? Overall, the woman at the checkout really tainted this place for me by straight up not giving me my change back and I don't plan to return.

The apples were great quality and were delicious to eat and bake with later in the week. We parked a little far out from the entrance based on how busy it was (Sunday afternoon), but it was an easy walk. A lot of the apples that were ready to be picked and of good quality were at the top of the trees. I wish they offered ladders or picker tools to allow people to get good apples that can't be reached otherwise. Also, they had run out of apple cider donuts, which was a shame. We got some apple cider and fresh raspberries to take home, which were also both delicious. I would definitely pick our own raspberries next year if we return. We would definitely go back for a fun Fall activity each year!

I thought the layout was easy to follow and very organized. The space across the orchard was truly maximized. Rows upon rows of beautiful apples waiting to be picked. This weekend 9/15, Honeycrisp, Cortland, Gala, Liberty and McIntosh were ready for picking. My wife and I are apple feinds eating 1 or 2 a day each. We had the fridge space for cold storage so we did 1/2 bushel which hits you @ $55. We ended up getting 24.5lbs of apples which came out to $2.24/lb. Not bad for fresh off the tree. If you don't eat as many apples, it is a little on the price side because here are the prices: 1/2 bushel ($55 = admission for 5) 1 peck ($35 = admission for 3) 1/2 peck ($17.50 = admission for 1) 1/4 peck ($15.00 I think? = 1 child 10 and under) Quantity is certainly your friend here. Not an issue for us because we eat so many (enjoyed over 4 while picking em.... They were good and couldn't help myself). We also grabbed some apple cider donuts on the way out. 1/2 dozen for $11 and they're the best apple cider donuts I've ever had. They actually tasted like apple and not just straight up sugar. Heat up in the microwave for 10 seconds before enjoying and chefs kiss. Will be back here in a month! Looking forward to some fuji and evercrisp!

Woah system overload!…read more This place has sooooo much to do. Where do you even begin. Originally when I looked up prices, I was like this is a little pricey, but I still wanted to give the place a try and I'm so glad I did because the price does indeed match with how much they offer here. It was family fun day for me, my partner, my nephew and my sister. And we all equally had a good time there are things to do for all ages. The employees are sweet, even the people that are working the parking. Once you cross the little street (crossing guard there for you). There is a little shop inside that you can buy your apple cider. You can buy decorated pumpkins. They have quite a few things in here. I do recommend grabbing an apple cider. It's so yummy originally I started off with the personal one and then I ended up taking home a jug as well. If you need bracelets, which, if you look up online that can be for all the activities or most of the activities with exclusions of some. Either way I feel like the prices are great, and you can see what you and your family will and will not do especially in regards to the ages of maybe the children that you're bringing. Once we bought the tickets, we bought some food to feed the animals. That was $5.00 a cup. The only issue that I had with this is there are several animals here but the cup that I paid five dollars for it seems as though only the cows would eat that specific food. All the other animals wanted the corn which you needed quarters to buy the corn which came out of a machine and I did indeed bring quarters luckily. That's my only issue there pretty much me and everybody else there noticed that the animals were indeed fed very well so a lot of times they didn't want to eat from you, but they did prefer the corn over the food that we bought in the cups. Now to animals, they have cows, llamas chickens, and the list goes on. I did love the mix and the variety of animals and so did my nephew. He especially loved feeding the cows because they have tubes where you put the food in that leads into the cow bowls that they eat out of he was fascinated by it. Now to activities, this is a real farm with so much land and there's so many things to do everywhere you go, especially for kids. They had swings hanging from trees, but they looked more like hammocks, which was pretty cool. They had a sandbox station where the kids can dig and build. They had huge haystacks that you could climb and take pictures on some of them were small, some of them were huge. They have a huge inflatable pumpkin that's like a bouncy for the kids, but that's age permitting for that one. They also have the tractor-trailer which we all did enjoy and that will bring you to the corn maze and the race track. The racetrack has several different bikes on it for all ages, including the Littles. And they do have two corn mazes. We only did one and we did enjoy it, even my nephew (he's 3). I feel like every employee that I ran into here also was very kind, sincere and genuine answered any questions that I had and directed you very easily to where you needed to go. I just wanted to make this very clear because I noticed this often. They also do have food and a beer garden, but we opted out of those things. They also do have quite a few things where you can use as photo ops, which is really cute. This review would be extremely long if I continued because there's just so much to do I think looking it up would be the best bet but we really did have a good time. It was a lot of fun even though there was kids running around everywhere it's not overstimulating. It's actually so large that everybody gets to have fun and there's so much sharing going on here. And they also have a pumpkin patch area. It's not like the tractor trailer takes you to the pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch is actually right there when you first enter so we opted out of that but otherwise we absolutely loved it and we will be back but just be mindful your phone does not work here. You do not have any service, but that's beautiful because you can stay in the moment with your family.

Especially because it did not include the hayride, additional corn mazes, feed for the animals, or a pumpkin to take home. With all that being said, my five year did have a really fun time. My son loved climbing the tire and sand mountain. He did that so many times! He liked the corn maze, but pointed out it wasn't a maze and was just a corn path. Would have been better if they had some dead ends and different paths along the way. He also really loved their giant jack-o-lantern bounce thing. We did buy feed for the animals, but I'd say it's definitely not worth it. The animals were all super stuffed so no one really wanted to eat anything! We also did buy the apple cider donuts, which I probably wouldn't' buy again. They were super greasy and didn't taste super fresh. Would have been awesome if they were warm! We didn't get to check out the beer garden this go around, but definitely looked like a great area of the farm. I would go back, but I just wish the whole place was included in the $18pp price tag.
