Had the best time here with my boyfriend yesterday! We got here around 3:45 pm, and there were barely any people which was great for social distancing. It was really nice to be able to relax outside without having to worry as much about distancing and other safety measures. The air was crisp and I would highly coming out here to disconnect from our busy lives a little! We had a mini photo shoot with the cute pumpkin patch that they had and 10/10 would recommend doing that! There was a beautiful view of the colorful fall trees too, as far as the eye can see. Unfortunately, they were out of apple cider donuts for the day and we were looking forward to that, but that's our fault for getting there too late in the afternoon. So if you're interested in the donuts I would say to go earlier during the day! Overall, Drew Farms nice place that I would highly recommend, if you're looking for a lower-traffic spot for apple and pumpkin picking! The few people we saw during our time there all had masks on too and we really appreciated the mask enforcement. Didn't really run into employees either but it was nice getting to do our own thing!

Tried taking my family to a local apple orchard, but the owners were struggling to figure out the parking situation. Screaming at customers paying $25 a bag of apples. Cider donuts were mediocre.

I have been coming here since I was a little girl. Guess you can say I'm a loyalist. There's a quick tractor ride up the hill to go Apple Picking or you can walk up. Pumpkins early picking or go mid to late October for bigger options. Plenty of Apple choices to choose from. The guide will always tell you where to pick depending on the apples you want. A small half peck bag cost $8 now. Apple cider donuts are $1 each, they are amazing!! Went around 2pm and still had donuts so I'm surprised. Still great a few days later as well. Must go - on a date or as a family or just to pick apples and pumpkins

Even the drive into the orchard…read moreis beautiful, the grassy car path taking you deep inside the orchard to their ample parking area. The smallest bag (1/2 peck?) was $7.50, and that got us 23 small-to-upper-medium-sized Macouns, Macs, Golden Delicious, and Gala apples. Trees and rows that were ready for picking were clearly marked with staked signs marking the fruit trees' species, and the egress portions of the orchard was accessible to folks using a variety of assistive/adaptive devices (wheelchairs, crutches, canes, walkers, et cetera). The hayride was a lovely and fun touch. There were perhaps forty to fifty people of all ages picking apples at the same time we were picking, but the orchard is so sizable, it did not feel cramped or crowded, and there was ample fruit for all of us and then some. As we were leaving, I noticed a white peach tree still in fruit, and I asked if I could buy some peaches. The owner said yes, and she picked them right off the branch and sold them to us. Oh, yes, I had fresh white peaches that night. They, like the apples, were flavorful and I felt incredibly lucky to have timed our visit just right. They had the first of the pumpkins for the year, too. Definitely put me in the mood for the season! Best of all, I wasn't sure how they did pest control, but I was very pleased to come home and read on their website that they do IPM (integrated pest management), rather than rely on conventional commercial methods. We'll definitely be back to this gorgeous orchard full of passionate farmers!

Came here for PYO Blueberries. They had an FB sale for having a huge picking at a reduce rate…read morebecause of too many crops. I would steer clear on this places for blueberries. This is not my first time blueberry picking, so I know what to look for and how to pick berries. The area is fairly short - meaning the netting to keep the birds out is very low. If you're tall, you're going to be dragging the netting through your hair or killing your back from crouching. Bushes are not trimmed and maintained well. However, the height of the berries are perfect for children to be able to pick their own. After crouching for a while and leaving with 4 lbs of berries, we were happy with our haul. However, after coming home and washing them to prepare for storage and eating, the nightmare began. Nearly all the berries have small white bugs on them. No biggie, fairly easy to wash and scrub. However, when worms and grubs starting to come out of the berries, I knew that this was not a great picking place. Their blueberries looked great, but clearly they're dealing with bug issues that will kill their crops and customer base. Wasted money down the drain, but better than eating bug infested fruits. It's a bummer as I've picked fruits at their Tyngsboro location with no issues. But I'd steer clear on this location and drive further to go up to Tyngsboro.

Pick your own strawberries, pick your own blueberries, and pick your own Jack Russel Terriers!…read more Yes, really - besides selling various types of seasonal produce at their farm, their website also mentions that Jack Russel Terriers - Irish Shorties to be specific - are available. That was very obvious when we pulled in and asked where to drive/park. The Terriers were very willing to help, though their human gave us better directions. Today, strawberries were available both pre-picked and pick-your-own. We opted for the latter, and we picked 4 quarts in less than half an hour - not bad when you consider it is still a little early in the season, and we had to navigate through some slightly soggy spots from last night's tropical storm. The final cost was roughly $4 per quart - a great deal for farm-fresh strawberries. Later in the year they will have blueberries, tomatoes, corn and pumpkins, and a corn maze in the fall. Reasons to keep coming back! Oh, and be very careful driving out back. We had to also deal with a lovesick rooster who was doing his own version of pick-your-own with various pursued hens, none of whom understood the concept of moving cars.

Didn't know I'd have the opportunity to go to a "pumpkin patch" before this trip but so grateful…read morethat I did. Supposedly this is the #1 ranked fall farm by Newsweek last year...I haven't been to any of the other ranked locations or a large number of non-ranked spots so can't validly compare - but from what I experienced I'd say this is top notch. It's definitely goes beyond a regular "pumpkin patch" and has things to see and do or taste for all members of the family. People of all ages find joy in apple picking, fighting the honeybees, playing with goats, and riding in a wagon. Older adults can enjoy photo worthy moments in the sunflower fields too! Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to taste other products from the farm store but I'm sure they're wonderful.

We purchased the tickets and the bag at the little ticket house. In order to enter the orchard, you present your tickets to the employee. The animal farm had goats, sheep and roosters and there is no fee to enter. There are feed machines which accept quarters so you can feed the animals and wash stations to clean up after. In that same area is a large sandbox with some pretty cool toys. In the back are the flowers and pumpkins. No fee to enter either, we got some nice pictures with the pumpkins. Those are priced based on size and there are 4 of them at the entrance with prices so you know how much you will pay for each size. Plenty of parking and handicap parking. It was a nice experience, a tad warm, but otherwise beautiful day and the employees were all friendly. We were there for about an hour. TIP: if you plan to feed the animals, bring a small envelope or cup (like the size of a condiment one) to hold the food pellets. Otherwise you just have to hold them in your hand. The sheep area was loaded with flies, but towards the back barn part (near the sandbox), there were very few flies and a better goat feeding experience. To get 5 stars, it would be nice if: 1) They trimmed the grass in between the orchards at bit. It was really thick and high and very challenging for the toddlers to walk through, especially with so many hidden, dropped apples. 2) There was more than 6-8 pellets per quarter. 3) The store had a bit more selection. They did have honey sticks, donuts (which were just ok), some produce and T shirts. Maybe offer other locally made candy or goods to offer a more fun shopping experience.

From Boston, it's a scenic drive out to Stow. I couldn't stop gushing over the foliage on the way there - I've turned into a total leaf peeper. Carver Hill is absolutely stunning in the fall, definitely worth a trip. Pleasantly surprised to find the lot half-empty when we arrived on the later side of a Saturday but then it filled up by the time we left around 3. To your right, as soon as you drive in, you'll see an area with pumpkins and the farm store - this is also where you get PYO fruit/veggies if you're paying with credit. If you have cash on hand, you can pay for a bag at the little stand right in front of the orchard. A peck (the smaller bag) was $25. I was a little skeptical at the size but it's a good deal if you really pack your apples in there. From there, the apple orchard. Not the biggest I've been to and the selection was understandably limited. We missed the sign to download the QR code for a map of the orchard and so had to rely on a photo of a thin pole with all the names/colors wrapped around it. Don't forget to stop at the store before you leave. I grabbed some pumpkin pie, jam, and an apple cider donut - they also have apple cider slushies and multiple flavors of ice cream. The donut was THE BEST, made fresh, almost falling apart, thick and generous coating of cinnamon and sugar (also tasted nutmeg and allspice in the coating). Absolutely worth waiting in the line for, but make sure to pay first and get a little yellow receipt/tag from the register before you get in line for the donuts.
