There are food trucks as well if you want to really spend the day here which is a cool perk. The grounds are very clean and safe and there are workers monitoring the area nonstop and even parking attendants! I cannot wait to take my daughter back we both had so much fun.

Pumpkinhead people are scarecrows with faces painted on the pumpkins as heads. They're creative and cute. There are two venues, The Forest and The Village. The Village is a walk through and it takes about an hour for $7. There are about 30 pumpkinheads with different scenes; church, saloon, bank, post office, fire house, etc. The Forest is a one mile drive through and takes about 20 minutes for $25. There are about 30 pumpkinheads with different scenes; coal mine, schoolyard, and more. The ride is narrated, there's a scavenger hunt, and you can buy treats for the ride, such as popcorn, cider, and cider donuts. They also have multiple shops onsite. The harvest store has produce, gourmet food items, souvenirs, and gifts. The garden center has annuals, perennials, shrubs, etc. The main store has hardware, house plants, pet supplies, and a Christmas shop etc. Around Thanksgiving, they open up for the Christmas season and the pumpkinheads are waiting to be viewed via drive by, in their holiday spirit. My family and I went last weekend to The Village. The kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed walking through and seeing all the pumpkinheads. They did a great job with the scenery and putting the pumpkinheads together. There were many photos ops. I especially loved the pumpkinhead wedding. For the kids, they had a hay bale maze, inflated tires to jump around on, a spider web rope playscape, and an area where they can shoot soft balls into a pond. They also were selling fresh to order apple cider donuts; picnic tables were available to sit on. The parking lot was large and they had people guide us where to park; they even had a police officer as a crossing guard. They have a seamless operation and this place is worth a visit!

The family that owns the farm is just lovely and the other people who work there are just as friendly and helpful. They are definitely getting more popular ( it is easy to see why once you have been!) they ran out of trees to cut down a few weeks before Christmas this year! The owner says he has to plan 8 or 9 years in advance for the number of trees he thinks they'll need. My one criticism would be they don't update the website often ,so I would recommend calling ahead to make sure they still have trees available. Free hot chocolate inside the shop and pooches on leashes are welcomed:) everything about this farm gets me in the Christmas spirit!

They have plenty of parking, free hot chocolate, offer tree shaking (to get rid of loose needles) and tying included in the tree price, as well as providing a saw. They'll even help you put it on your car should you need a hand. This year they started to offer a wagon ride to the top of their farm (it is a very steep hill/ledge) if you aren't feeling up to the walk. That was disappointing since most people were too lazy to go to the top, leaving a bigger and better selection for me who was willing to walk! There are carts to walk your tree down the hill strategically placed all over the farm. They have a good selection of trees, many Norway Spruce, Blue Spruce, Canaan Fir, and many others. Most are priced at around $45. Also, this is one of the few places that welcomes dogs, as their own dog Ginger wanders around the tree prep area. Keep 'em leashed and pick up any poop so they continue to welcome dogs! All in all, a great family run tree farm.

The farm store had jams, jellies, apples, gourds, cookies, veggies, pumpkins, mums, hot sauces, etc. They had wheelbarrows for you to use, if you're planning to buy a few big pumpkins. They also had an apple fritter/donut/cider stand. I purchased half a dozen of apple fritters for $8; you can add extra cinnamon sugar. Those apple fritters looked like donut holes but tasted like apple donuts, it was very splendid! Overall, a great spot to stop by if you're into the small town farm vibes. They even have craft items like pottery, candles, knit work, and home decorations. They had pumpkins and corn stalks for fall decorating and were collecting carved pumpkins after Halloween to help feed their livestock. Their beef is delicious, and I've seen people rave about their chicken but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I love supporting local businesses and the owners here are always nice and helpful. I'm a big fan and it's my go-to for veggies before the big stores.
