My husband does a lot of our car work so we didn't have a 'go-to' garage. When I asked my mom…read morewhere she took her car she mentioned that she's been bringing cars to Showroom for many many years. Mom's been happy with their work for years, and now I'm happy with it as well. I had to recently have some work done to my father-in-law's car and it took a little bit of time to get the first appointment in (just under 2 weeks) so that wasn't an issue. We had questions about replacing the coils, should we replace all 8, should we test and only replace the bad ones, could I buy the parts somewhere else if I found them cheaper. They answered every question and talked through the options with me. In the end, we did all the spark plugs and they tested the coils and replaced the single bad one they found. We made another appointment and brought the car back to have the passenger window repaired a few weeks later. We'll definitely continue to bring work here. Megan does all the phone and desk stuff and she's knowledgeable, courteous, and responsive. Thanks for providing great service and great work!

I have been going to Superior Auto for my vehicle repairs for 20 years. I first went there because…read moreit was convenient, I could drop off the car and then walk to the bus to work. I would come back from my shift and it would be waiting for me. Now I no longer work in the area, but I continue to bring my cars there, even though I'm 45 minutes away. I don't trust anyone else with my cars. The total trust was built when I brought my truck in for corroded gas lines. The owner refused to fix it because the entire underneath was completely rotted out. He could have fixed it and made money off it, but refused because the vehicle wasn't safe. I ended up scrapping the vehicle. Another thing I love about them is if you need an oil change, you don't need an appointment, you can stop in and they will drop everything to take care of walk-ins. I HIGHLY recommend this family run business to everyone! Annette Gordon

The best in the U.S…read more Dream Auto is everything I could ask for in auto repair. I travel full time, coast to coast, north to south, east to west, on and off road, throughout the U.S. in a 2005 Pacifica. My car requires consistent maintenance due to the wear and tear of extreme use. I happened across Dream Auto five years ago when I was outfitting my vehicle for full time travel. They removed all but the driver's seat to accommodate the interior, camper-like build. They also performed a few engine repairs. There were some wiring repairs they couldn't make, but they correctly diagnosed the problem, which I had fixed at another shop. While visiting family in Connecticut I returned to Dream Auto to have my vehicle checked out for some whining noises it was making. I always get a second opinion when major repairs are required, which was the case this time. The Dream Auto mechanics correctly diagnosed drive shaft, sway bar, and shocks issues, which they repaired. I ordered the parts through Amazon, which saved me about a thousand dollars. Dream Auto doesn't do wheel alignments, which I needed after the drive shaft was installed. So I had that done at another shop. Following that, I heard another unfamiliar noise. I returned to Dream Auto where they diagnosed wheel bearing and axle damage, confirmed once again with a second opinion. I ordered the parts, which I had delivered to the shop, and Dream Auto performed the labor. Now my old car drives like she's just off the assembly line. I couldn't be more pleased with her performance. The owner/manager, Antonio, and his brother, a top notch mechanic, one of at least two others, provide a family-like atmosphere, excellent communication, and quality diagnostics and repairs. Whenever I'm in Connecticut, Dream Auto is where I go for the best of the best in car repairs.

Long Appreciation Post…read more A couple weeks ago, I was rear ended on 91 by a hit and run driver who did not brake for the stopped traffic. I am extremely grateful for my Ford Explorer for keeping me safe and being able to walk away without injury. In need of a whole new back end of my Explorer, I chose Johnson's Auto Body in Tolland to repair my car because of a positive referral. I cannot express HOW INCREDIBLE they were!!! Renee, who works the office, was AN ABSOLUTE ANGEL and walked me through the entire process. She was genuinely empathtic and consistently reassured me that "I, and my Explorer, are in very good hands" and that "I was going to get it back and it'll look like nothing ever happened." She sent me a text message every day with an update on the car, insurance or just to see how I was doing and feeling. Sure enough, I got my Explorer back and it looks PERFECT!! If you are ever in need of any body work, PLEASE consider this amazing, small business. I can't speak highly enough of them and I deeply appreciate their true, genuine commitment to not just my Explorer...but to ME!
