It's a very clean and pleasant facility. They give you several choices of the grade of oil you want to buy, and explain them clearly - although the price signage could be a little more clear. We brought it back and within five minutes we were told everything had been checked, everything was fine, and the car was safe to drive. Unfortunately, because the car wasn't parked in one place for very long, we had no idea it was still leaking. It wasn't until the car sat in our driveway for three days that we discovered it was continuing to leak oil. By then, she had already driven the vehicle all the way from Connecticut to North Carolina with the leak. Brand-new driveway covered with a big oil stains. We took the car to our local Take 5 in North Carolina, where they found the problem almost immediately: the Connecticut location had failed to install the gasket on the drain plug during the oil change. Mistakes happen, but what is unacceptable is that we recognized there was a problem, brought the car back, and were reassured that everything was fine after only a few minutes. That reassurance led to a 600+ mile drive with an active oil leak. This could have caused catastrophic engine damage, and instead it left us with a damaged brand-new driveway. This wasn't just an honest mistake it was a failure to properly diagnose and correct a problem that they created after we specifically returned because the car was leaking oil. Extremely disappointing service and a preventable situation that never should have happened.

Prior to this oil change, I had no leaks. Post oil change, I notice a few huge oil spots in the driveway. I brought it to them to look at and was told it was the oil pan gasket. I asked for suggestions on where to take it. They suggested Sorels garage and gave me the address. I took it there and they put a UV dye in so they could see where the leak was coming from. I returned to Sorels for them to look at it and it's not the oil pan gasket, but the oil filter housing. Back and forth with Valvoline who keeps insisting it's the oil pan gasket even though I show Morgan (the manager) video of it leaking from above that point. File a claim with corporate. Fast forward to today after the housing was replaced and over $400 spent on said repair and they tell me the video was reviewed, my claim was denied, but they will pay half. Nope, they will pay 100% of the repair because there was NO oil leak prior to that last oil change. DONT GO HERE. First they tell me it's not the filter, then it was the filter and the oil pan gasket, then I bring it back after the repair and they acknowledge it's no longer leaking and they denied my claim but we will pay half. If they weren't in the wrong why would they offer to pay half? Because they are in the wrong and they F'd up my vehicle, now the area manager call me back. I will probably make the news because I will be back there tomorrow on the sidewalk telling all customers that pull in there NOT to get their oil changed there.
