I'm so glad a friend referred me to Meagan Wempe for HRT. I've been discussing the issues I was…read morehaving due to menopause and my gynecologist couldn't really help. Meagan met with me and went over a lot of information include HRT and how our bodies change due to menopause and it is something we need to handle. She ordered detailed labs and then met with me to go over the results in detail. Most doctors don't do that. They put a note in your portal saying your results are fine even though you see some out of range. I started HRT in December 2025 and what a big difference it has made in my life. Then I decided to have my pap smear with Meagan since she takes the time to go over all the information and find solutions. She also ordered additional labs. Then met with me for 30 minutes to go over the lab results. Due some of the results, she ordered more test to be sure all was ok and continue to monitor my thyroid results. I'm so happy that she goes over everything and if she has any concerns request more tests. My last results were not good as it relates to my iron. Right away she sent in a prescription, requested for me to take a certain vitamin and to refer me to a hematologist for possible iron infusions. Since I'm a pancreatic cancer survivor, I already had a hematologist, so the office sent over my results. Sure enough, he ordered for me to have the infusion. I've had low iron since I finished radiation which the doctors knew but all I got was to take iron supplements with no follow-up. It's only because Meagan took the time to review the results, order tests, that I feel I'm finally getting the treatment I need. I can't wait to start the infusion. Maybe I will feel so much better with not being as tired or dizzy. If you ever feel like there is something wrong and you aren't getting the care you deserve regarding your hormones or labs, then go see Meagan. I'm so thankful I was referred to this practice and to Meagan. Also all their staff is amazing whether in person or when I call.

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Their office policy for certain new…read moreprescriptions is to pick up a hand written script from the office. Not a problem, drove to office and picked up the script. Once delivered, the pharmacist called for me to come pick up the script and ask the Dr. to re-write correctly. First I tried to send a message via the Healow app. Even though I'm an existing patient, the app told me I had not been granted permissions to send messages. I tried to call numerous times and no one answered the phone. This went on for two days until finally I was able to reach the office manager(Heather P) and explained the situation. She informed me the pharmacist is incorrect and I need to go back and "educate them" the script was written correctly. I relayed the pharmacists instructions that there were 3 flaws in the script which prevented them from filling due to legal regulations. Heather immediately became defensive and said I'm lucky to be a patient of theirs. I asked that she call the pharmacist to work out the issue. She emphatically refused to do so and threatened to cut me off as a patient if I caused them grief. (Mind you I'm just trying to get a script filled, I'm the customer not a doctor). I then spoke with the pharmacist and asked her to call the Trinity office. The next day, Heather called me and confirmed the script was written incorrectly and I would need to come pick up a new script. At no point did she offer an apology for the hassle or her rude demeanor the day prior. Reluctantly I again went to pick up the script from their office. Once delivered to the pharmacist she informed me now this time the incorrect medication was written for a completely different Rx. I would need to get yet again a new script from Trinity. I had the pharmacist call Trinity directly hoping to eliminate me as the middle man. The next day Heather left me a message saying this is becoming a nuisance and I need to make the script in hand work. "We won't be writing any more scripts for you so don't ask. Further more we are charging you for the time you have wasted on our end. Login to the portal and pay it before your next visit". I was pretty much speechless after this and chose to drop it and discontinue my business with Trinity. I followed my favorite physician to Trinity because she is an amazing provider. However, if Heather continues to run the office, they will be going out of business. I've never seen anyone so unhappy in their job.

I've been going here for my annual "lady-parts" check up for 3 years now and actually don't mind going because I know I'll be treated well and I won't have to wait long periods of time to see the Dr. I really hate it when I've got an appointment with someone and I have to wait 45 mins to see the doctor. I'm on time, why aren't they? This nonsense doesn't happen in Dr Schwertner's office. They're open M-Th, and Friday mornings.

However, her front office rep always looks as though she's having a bad day and would rather you not have come in at all. Then, the unthinkable happened! Last year I was laid off and had to move, I was unable to pay a balance I had from a treatment she provided because I had no income. I was sent to collections and did not find out for awhile because of my address change. Once employed again, I made arrangements and paid the debt off to the collection agency. I have started having severe complications, which include severe pain, from the aforementioned procedure and called to schedule an appointment. Even though I have paid my debt, Dr. Schwertner will no longer see me because I went to collections. I will say that the front office lady finally had a pleasant tone as though telling me I would have to find another doctor to help me, had just made her day! I have been in insurance and billing in the medical field for a very long time, I have never worked in a place that would turn a patient away because of money, especially when the debt had been paid!! I believe this to be very poor customer service, and shows that it is NOT her patients she cares about, its money and that is definetly not the kind of doctor I want treating me.

I went to Dr. McReynolds after seeing several other doctors, including a Rheumatologist, for severe…read moreand chronic lower back pain, all over pain and mental confusion. Due to the persistent pain, I was unable to sleep, think or do much of anything but lay in bed, growing more depressed everyday. I can't explain it, but I honestly began to feel better on the drive home from her office that day.The next morning I woke up and took my dogs for a walk in the morning and after dinner. I hadn't walked my dogs in months due to the pain. It's been 2-3 weeks since my first visit to Dr. McReynold's and in those weeks I have gotten my business back up and running as well as my household and my life. I have an occasional day here and there where I have some pain, but it's much less severe and it does go away after a while. I have also lost 2 lbs after being hopelessly stuck for years. I am eating healthier and my overall mood is so much improved. After years of suffering, I finally feel like I have my life back! I like several things about Dr. McReynolds. For me, she has prescribed food/nourishment instead of medication. The Green smoothies and supplements I am taking are helping to reduce the chronic inflammation I was suffering from. It has also helped me to lose weight. I also have a lot more energy. I sleep very well now and I can think clearly for the first time in months. This is a doctor that prays with you and for you and prescribes meditation. Dr. McReynolds also spent an expansive amount of time with me and asked me every possible question in order to diagnose and treat me. I did not at any time feel like I was being rushed like at most of the other doctors I had seen. I'm very grateful that I finally found someone who is dedicated to the wellness of my whole being.

Dr. McReynolds is the first Osteopathic Doctor I have been to. Not only is Dr. McReynolds a Master at manipulating the bones but she also has extensive knowledge and training in nutritional health and supplements so she can speak to me about healing in ways that don't involve engineered drugs and side effects. I was in pretty severe pain from my lower back all the way down to the bottoms of my feet. The pain was impacting my ability to stand, walk and work out. After one visit for Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) with Dr. McReynolds, I found relief. I am always excited for my next session with her because I can actually feel the bone structure realigning. Dr. McReynolds was also able to help me tweak my diet to meet my weight loss goals, which is no small feat. Having my own wealth of knowledge about healthy eating and nutrition makes it difficult for most people to even understand what I'm talking about when I go into the dietary aspect of my life. Dr. McReynolds not only fully understands all these esoteric aspects of nutrition but she was able to guide me in the right direction to lose the stubborn weight. There is a spiritual element to healing with Dr. McReynolds. With my permission, Dr. McReynolds prays for a moment before each treatment she administers to me. I find this to be of the highest value when receiving medical treatment. I will see a D.O. as opposed to an M.D. for the rest of my life, thanks to Dr. McReynolds. One who can help me with any medical/health concerns and also address the issues relating to my bones, muscles and joints. I highly recommend seeing Dr. McReynolds to anyone at all, no matter what health challenges you face. I will continue to see her as long as I live in Austin, Texas and she is in practice.
