I rarely go to BeOn Nails, and after this month, I will never be back. It began with a quick gel manicure decision after a trip to Whole Foods. The staff recommended a $35 upgraded gel to harden my nails, I left satisfied with the upgrade and service. Within 24 hours, 2 of my nails chipped, and within 5 days 2 more. I opted to stop in to show them my nails as I thought the gel formula may have been old/defective. I had the text message reservation proof of the date of the manicure and was told to choose a color and they would do it again. Wow! Great customer service (I thought)! I wasn't looking for a freebie, just wanted them to know their products may have been defective. While picking out a new color from the $25/gel manicure list, the nail technician was breathing down my back to speed it up-which I did, as they were extending me a courtesy. He finished my nails (a bit of fuzz on my thumb nail) I took out $10 for a tip for the nail technician and thanked them, only to be stopped at the door with a $25 bill. Say WHAT! No, I explained, you were correcting my defective manicure, directed me to pick out a new color (not in the $35 range) and rushed me out the door with a fuzzy thumb nail. The boss settled on a $20 nail color change and I reluctantly paid to spare the front desk girl a tongue lashing and tears from the irate owner. I will never go back....Affinity Nails (down the road in Kmart plaza) is consistently good and appreciate their customers. I hope they spent that $25 well, it will be the last penny they ever get from me! read more

Visited here for the first time yday and LOVE this place. The spa is gorgeous, the people who work here are super nice, and they are CLEAN. I am a dermatologist so I am extremely picky who does my nails bc I have seen the gnarliest infections come from nail salons. This place uses an autoclave and sterile tools as nail salons should. Jason opened a brand new packet of tools in front of me for my SNS manicure. I saw the girl next to me whom was getting a regular mani, the nail tech opened one of those disposable nail kits to use for her which is awesome. My old nail salon used to do this in NYC when I lived there. I understand it's a little more expensive but that is completely worth it not to get a fungal or bacterial infection that takes months and $ to treat. I tried the SNS manicure in shade N5, which is a neutral sheer pink with Jason, and he did an excellent job. I tried SNS since no UV or drilling is required (=no skin cancer, photodamage or nail damage). I live about 30 mins fr here but completely worth the drive, plus I can just plan to make a Whole Foods run when I come. I didn't get the pedicure yday but as soon as warmer weather comes I will try it. Tip: Use cash to pay for your service bc after 10 you get a free pedi. read more

I found this place to be expensive and not worth the money. I paid extra for the gel polish for myself and my daughters and it smudged as soon as we got home. We were leaving for an event so I didn't have time to fix it. On a plus side, the pedicure was thorough and relaxing. read more

3 Stars: The reason they get 3 instead of 2 is because I never have a problem, but today, today was the worst. Costumer service was great, everyone is always so kind. My manicure was horrible and my boyfriends mother mani/pedi was the worst. My boyfriends mother did ombré which took over an hour. At first the ombré looked fantastic but when she went to "touch up" the whole thing was ruined. She put too much white and it ended up looking half and half. Then there was my manicure. She applied three coats of color, not including base and top. It was way to thick and the color was not drying. She sprayed my hands twice with the instant dry and after 30+ minutes of my fingers still not being dry. I kept messing the polish up because it was so damn wet. After 45 minutes she told me I was dry so I went to Whole Foods to get sushi. My nail polish was still so wet that when I picked up a package my polish smuged and half came off. I have a wedding tomorrow and have to take my polish off at some point or use nail polish thinner. I've never had such a bad experience here, we both won't be back. read more

Terrible experience. They do not value their clients's health. I showed up on time for my appointment wearing a mask and was denied service because I refused to keep my nose constantly covered due to my inability to breathe. I explained that I have a medical condition that prevents me from breathing properly and that I need to breathe through my nose since I have passed out recently in similar conditions. I also explained that by covering my mouth I am being respectful and protecting others. They refused to service me after wasting my time and disrespectfully arguing about covering my nose. They made me justify my medical condition publicly, after loudly calling out my name, so far about privacy. A shit show to say the least! This is assault! I will definitely use another nail salon, who cares about my well being, not only about my money. The staff at BeOn Nails are rude and inconsiderate. They are obnoxious and only care about your cash! I wonder why they reward cash payments. They'd rather have you picked up in an ambulance after taking your cash, then giving you a pleasant experience. Disgusting! There are so many nail salons in the area that are welcoming and respectful of their clients. I will make sure to let everyone know. read more

3 stars because it was clean. We were shuffled through so quickly. I never had a pedicure where the dead skin on my feet got literally 10 seconds of attention. They definitely needed more! I felt like all of the pedicurists were being watched to make sure they didn't take too long. The pedicurist showed me a timer to prove that I was going to get a 5-minute foot massage. That's nice, I guess, but the condition of my feet are more important. I understand they are trying to make up for lost (Covid) time but myself and the 2 ladies I was with were left unsatisfied. read more

I came here for the first time under the impression this was a good nail salon from other people. I was getting a full set with gel. Within 3 days I lost my first nail, 2 days later another nail fell off and one chipped. And 2 more nails are lifted. I've been getting tips for 8 years. I have NEVER had nails fall off that quickly. After paying $75 I expected a lot more. When I called to let them know, they said I would have to pay to get them fixed. I would NEVER recommend this place. read more

After skimming through the more recent reviews I'm glad I'm not the only one having the same issue! I paid so much for powder dip and within days I had 3 nails chip and one pop off completely! Powder dip is supposed to last AT LEAST 2 weeks, I've gone 3 before with zero issues. After all these issues I went back to have them fixed, and they had the nerve to charge me! I over paid to begin with, gave a generous tip, and now had to pay again to fix my nails! When I asked why I was being charged the man responded they just started charging for any chip after THREE days. RED FLAG! They literally changed their pricing; based on these reviews I know why, everyone's nails are chipping! They need to re-evaluate their nail techs and products instead of bleeding loyal customers for money! Never going back! read more

Very nice clean facility, only rating 2 stars because the technician, named Ellen, who did my gel manicure did not do a great job. I wanted navy and white, half and half with the white on the bottom. Both hands are not even, half and half on one and 2/3 on the other so they look off. The white was also put on after and it didn't fully cover the navy. Really not impressed and she made excuses that it was the polish pulling away and said she couldn't fix it. Updating as the response from the owner doesn't really reflect the complete lack of interest in correcting my nails while I was there. I said they were ok and the guy in the green shirt laughed and made a comment saying just ok? And I said I've had them done elsewhere and they came out better and no one behind the counter said anything. That same guy was working on a customer next to us as I commented on the white not covering the navy and made no attempt to step in and then laughed later. Pretty poor customer service. I'm now traveling all week for work so I'm stuck with this shotty nail job for an important meeting. read more

I really want to like this salon... but as a previous reviewer stated, I think it really depends on who does your nails. I've been getting shellac manicures for years, and they usually last me over 2 weeks, but I moved and had to find a different salon. I've had 4 shellac manicures from 3 different techs at this salon, and all but one of them started chipping after 7 days (the last one started around 10). On 2 occasions I had to ask them to get the correct CND base coat as they were going to just use regular base coat products. I guess it's just trial and error until I find a tech who applies it properly so that it actually makes it to the 2 week mark? Or I start driving back to my old salon ugh. Other than that the salon is very clean and they did a nice job on my pedicure. Some of the techs seem to rush through your services though, which was disappointing given all the 5 star reviews. read more

I seem to have trouble finding a nail salon near Spring Lake that I like, but this one was the worst. I had a powder gel manicure and at the end when I went to wash my hands there was glue (or something) around 3 fingers of my left hand. He told me he would clean it up and proceeded to scrub and pick at whatever it was. That night I woke up scratching at my fingers. The next day I had tiny blisters around my nails and up my arms. I went to the doctor and she gave me a fungus cream which did nothing. Using a combination of my own natural and homeopathic treatments, I finally found something I think is working. After a month, my arms are clear and the rough skin around my fingernails has gotten much better. Don't know what it was, but I hope it doesn't come back. I also read, after the fact, that for powder gel manicures, they should pour the powder into a smaller container that gets thrown out so as not to contaminate the main jar. He did not do that. I went for the first time Saturday. There were good but I thought a little pricey. I called ahead of time and asked how much for a gel fill and polish. I was quoted $30.00 which I thought sounded a little inexpensive since reading the precious reviews. I asked again about the polish and again she said $30.00. It was not $30.00 but $40.00. Again, good job, I'll see how long they last before I decide if I will go back. If I do go back I will make sure she shapes my nails the way I requested. I had been a customer at BeOn nails for about the past 9 months. I have typically had a pleasant experience until today. I have been getting the SNS powder for my nails the last 4 times I had my nails done because of its reputation to last longer. Each time it has lasted about 3 to 4 weeks typically just growing out. This past time I had two nails chip within 3 days which the salon fixed for free a week after I initially got my nails done. Only 3 days after getting the two nails fixed 4 more nails chipped. I called immediately to schedule an appointment to get them fixed. When I arrived for this appointment today I was approached by the owner who had planned to intervene with me about coming again to get my nails fixed. He blamed me of biting my nails which I do not do and not being gentle enough with my nails. He additionally told me that they can only guarantee that their manicures last 3 days. The SNS is advertised to last 3 weeks by most of their manicurists there and 6 of my nails chipped within 10 days of originally getting my nails done. I have referred several friends to this business and have always had good things to say. I had never asked while in the store to have my nails fixed for free a second time but they made that assumption without asking.They lost a loyal customer today due to their poor customer service and bogus 3 day policy for a polish that should last 3 weeks. read more

I am currently here right now and while it's a nice salon the tech doing my pedicure is not great. I selected a pedicure with extra massage and even after telling him twice he could use more pressure he's barely rubbing the same spot on my leg while watching whatever is on the tv. Definitely NOT worth the extra money. The guy working on my friend next to me is actually massaging so maybe it's just this one tech that is lazy but I'm sorry, if I'm paying extra money for the service I would like the service. I'll be finding somewhere else from now on. I came here once before for a manicure and wasn't thrilled but decided to give this place a second chance. Learned my lesson. read more

Horrible pedicure. The guy did not do a good job at all buffing or polishing or pushing back cuticles or cleaning up the skin around my toes. He didn't even polish nicely- it has streaks in it and i have nail polish even on my skin. I might go back Bc it's such a nice clean spa, just not to the same guy. I love that I can book online and one time someone at the front desk even called me when she thought I made an error in booking because I come so regularly now! Amy does my gel fill & classic pedicure and always does a fantastic job. I think it is reasonably priced for the area and the level of cleanliness. There is always water available, coffee, clean bathrooms, an ATM and if you pay with cash you get a punch card to be redeemed for a free pedicure, which I have taken advantage of twice! I have been going to BeOn for a few months now and I have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly, the salon is clean, and my SNS manicure always lasts! I never write reviews, however, today I was appalled by the behavior of a customer sitting next to me. While having her SNS manicure filed off, the customer yelled that it hurt and that the manicurist didn't know what she was doing. The customer was so rude and disrespectful, and continued to complain that the girl had no idea how to do her job. The manicurist offered to have someone else do her nails, and the customer agreed. She yelled and talked down to the staff the entire time I was there. She continued to complain about how horrible her experience was, and that if she wasn't in such a rush she would just go elsewhere. Well, I suggest she does so in the future since she disrupted a peaceful manicure for the rest of the costumers. The way she spoke to the staff was disgusting and rude, yet they kept their composure and acted professional throughout the entire ordeal. Made a last minute decision to get a pedicure and discovered this salon, and boy am I happy I did. Unfortunately I don't live in the area, but even though that's the case, I will definitely be back when I'm around. This salon is BEAUTIFUL. Right when I walked in, I was in awe about how many colors there were to choose from. They also are very welcoming when you come in. When you get a pedicure, they also give you an awesome 5 minute hot stone massage. I've never had that at any other salon and it was SO worth it. They also made my nails look very nice. Also, I was offered a back massage while my nails dried, but I didn't take that offer because I didn't know if I had to pay for it or not.
