Went today to get a pedicure as I recently moved closer to the area. Although they did not have any openings when I went (the place was busy) they were accommodating and told me to come back. when I came back the technician thanked me for coming back since they didn't have openings early. The salon was clean (the files and tools come pre-wapped and opened for each customer). I had no issue picking a color as they had a large selection of colors. They time the massages during your pedicure which I appreciated because I knew I was getting the full experience. Jessie (the nail tech) was awesome and I was fully relaxed after my service. They just gained a customer! I'll be coming here for pedicures from now on and recommend to anyone looking for a clean, good nail salon by the shore! read more

UPDATE: after trying a couple other nail places in the area with friends and family, I still like BeOn the best. Everyone's friendly and helpful. I tried the SNS nail system and I really liked it. Lasted three weeks! I also tried an upgraded pedicure (BeOn spa pedi maybe?) and it was heavenly! If you have the time to sit and relax, I highly recommend it! This is my go to nail place! Everyone is always super friendly and professional, and I love their nail color choices. I like to schedule appointments and they are usually able to fit me in! Been going here since they opened, Sorry to say that I think the level service has gone WAY DOWN! Too many inexperienced (& many male) technicians. Many of them are NOT professional and some of the men smell like cigarette smoke. The massage guy is pushy, the front desk attendants are often very unfriendly and many times the manicure chips way too quickly! I hope they turn it around soon (& bring back experienced female technicians) because it used to be a much nicer experience and it's convenient and seems clean?! Very disappointed. read more

Minimal pedicure for $32. TIMED 5 minutes massage! No hot towel wrap. Hot stone rub lasted 30 seconds. Very minimal scrub. $52 for a Spa Pedicure which has a few extras but many of their upgrades are basic elsewhere. Had to pay $12 extra for a decent massage. I have been a client since they opened. The girl I have been going to there is gone..so I dis not make an aptmt ahead of time..my niece and myself dropped in and got first available. The pedi was done by a young man..no idea who he was and honestly..he was not good..my niece got one of the other guys..and he is very sweet...my pedi was horrible..I went last Friday and I have to trim because he did not take the time to shape them at all. Then rushed off for gel manicure..she did an OK job..but they are not even in shape at all. I drove 45 minutes spent 100 bucks for the two of us plus tip..and I can tell you..that is my last trip. Salon is clean and lovely..but if the service does not equal the price... time to find another place. Very clean and nice looking place. Probably the worse pedicure I got. They didn't do anything to the bottom of my feet. I left with more dead skin I came with, my heels more cracked and nail polish around my nails. When I went to pay they asked how everyone was and I was honest and said not good and it was an awful pedicure and I won't be giving a tip. The response I got was a smile and they said sorry. They are very personable, which is a real difference from the place I was going to previously. I enjoy coming here. Happy is my nail technician. He goes a great job, and is very professional. I've had other techs who also were wonderful. I get a gel fill manicure and a pedicure. They actually recommended that I don't do a gel pedicure because my nails were too soft, and I really appreciated their honesty since it is a more expensive process. They have a ton of colors to choose from. It's very clean. The pedicure have massage chairs. The tech does a great massage on your legs and feet as well. Pros: Very safe post covid. Installed plexiglass between customer spots and the technicians. Temperature checks when you walk in. I was impressed with safety precautions. Salon is gorgeous and clean and everyone is very nice and helpful. Cons: Not sure if it was because of the protective measures but a regular manicure is $17! Add the two week polish I like and it's a whopping $22. Very pricey, and I didn't feel my manicure was worth that. Technician went quickly, not apply the coats evenly, so it's pretty spotty and didn't buff my nails so there are bumps underneath the polish. I am very disappointed with this nail salon and will never be returning. I have a typical nail salon (that I love) where I usually get my nails done. However, I am a college student, and that nail salon did not have any last minute availability. As a result, I decided to make an online appointment for a "gel manicure" at Beon Nails. I went to this nail salon two weeks prior and had a good experience (the salon was clean and my nail tech was very nice), so I assumed this experience would also be good. After the nail tech already began taking off my nail polish, another woman came over and began arguing with me saying that I made an appointment for a gel manicure and not a gel fill, although I never stated that I wanted a gel fill. She then began telling me that they did not have time to take off my nail polish and do a gel fill. I kept telling her I just wanted a gel manicure, and I was eventually given the options of either fixing the nails they already began taking off or giving me a gel manicure (not a gel fill). I told them they could go ahead with the gel manicure as per my appointment. They then switched the lady whom I made my appointment with and gave me a different nail tech. After the service, I was charged an extra 15 dollars, and when I inquired why, I was told it was for removing the nail polish. This was not told me to previously, and had I known I would have went someplace else because $55 for a basic gel manicure (without pink hardening filling) is ridiculous. The service itself was also unpleasant because the nail tech sighed multiple times (exactly 4-- I counted) while he was doing my nails. This made me feel very uncomfortable and really created a bad experience. They did not soak the polish off (even though I was apparently charged $15 for the removal) and instead used the buffer to remove it. My nails have always been very strong, but now they are extremely weak; I am nervous to do anything because they feel like they may break. They also began tingling and have been for hours now after the service was complete. Overall, my experience was very unpleasant. I especially do not appreciate being charged extra without being told before hand. Like I said previously, I would have just had them fix the nails they scraped with a nail file and got a gel manicure elsewhere had I known I would be charged $15 for them to roughly take off the polish to the point that my nails are very bendy. There are so many other nail salons in this area, and I would suggest going to any of them before going here. read more

Our entire experience was beyond disappointing with bad customer service and WAY over priced. I read a lot of reviews but have never written until this one. I was so excited about this place I made an appointment for 4 of us for4 gel manis and pedis before we left on a mother daughter vacation. When we arrived with our two girls age 11 a different manicurist assisted the girls in finding the gel polish they wanted. It started good but ended so bad! Long story short the girls did not get the gel they chose or even the pedicure we requested. When we questioned the service we were told several times children get mini pedicures and not gel. We stated many times the appointment was for full gel pedicures. We tried to explain we knew it would cost more then a mini but the language barrier was horrible. After many discussions they reluctantly re painted the girls nails and gave them a timed, yes timed with a buzzer 3 min message and we learnt all pedicure messages are on a 5 min timer. The staff was extremely rude and decided the rest of our visit would be met with tension. When it got to their manis we immediately saw they were not going to get what was requested, we asked for a manager. We were told one was not available and that they aren't use to children so it was lack of communication. We were very clear so lack of communication was not on our end. Again, We asked for a manger or supervisor, we were told no one with authority was there. So a packed salon with 30+ chairs and two very young receptionist their was no one to escalate our issue. The best we got was they would leave a message for a manager for the next time one was in. After dealing with the girls drama we realized our adult nails were so sloppy and unprofessional we asked for a repaint and were told no, they were to busy with other customers. After 2 long hours, Aggravated and ready to leave we got the bill it was $358! When questioned we were told after they re did the girls pedis it was $43 a piece. The adult spa pedi was $48 pls $15 for gel with a timed 5 min bad message. I don't mind paying for good service but this was a horrible job and bad experience all around. They offered no concession or apology. We reluctantly paid. As we finished the manicurist with the girls was so rude she looked at the girls and said next time you listen to me. As a new mom (who doesn't get out often) I was really looking forward to my birthday nail apt. Unfortunately, I could not have been more dissatisfied and let down. I felt rushed the whole appointment, nothing was relaxing, and my mani/pedi wasn't even good. For the extremely high prices one would think you were going to get something a little more special here instead of going to just the average nail salon that charges normal prices. For a $22 manicure (priced $17 plus $5 extra for 7-day lasting nail polish).. this is what I ended up with. The polish wasn't applied evenly and my pointer finger was smudged because I had to carry my purse with wet nails to the dryer (nail tech left me in the dust). He redid the nail but it still came out poor. At that point, I was so unhappy I just wanted to leave. This was a terrible pedicure experience. I made an appointment for my girlfriend and myself for 2:15 with the request to sit together. We got there right at 2:15, and although we were seated at our chairs quickly, it wasn't until 2:35 that we started getting worked on. My pedicure was completely finished by 3:00. The woman timed my 5 minute "massage" and she basically pet me for those 5 minutes. The man taking care of my friend took a chunk out while cutting her nail, leaving her with a bloody toe. $35 for an herbal pedicure...what a joke! $7 more than a regular pedicure and literally the only difference was a scoop of bath salt that turned the water green. Awesome. When paying, I asked if a pedicure is typically only 30 minutes, and was told that is normal. I've never had one anywhere that was shorter than 45 minutes. I was so excited to find this place a couple weeks ago. I went in for the dip gel manicure and a pedicure. I ended up with an infected big toe after being cut. I had to go to the dr to get a special cream to help it heal and get rid of the infection. I thought I would give it a second try. After returning the second time, she removed my gel only to find that 2 of my fingers had fungus under the nails. The person who had previously done my manicure said "oh I told you they were like that last time you were here". I said " ummmm no you never told me that, they weren't like that before, and I'm pretty sure I would remember my fingers being green". So although this salon is beautiful to look at, I walked out of there with one infection and 2 nails with fungus. I've been getting my nails done for 20 years and I have NEVER had this happen. This salon is pretty and efficient and they don't blast the televisions. A little higher priced than some others but clean and comfortable. Lots of colors and lots of stations. I wish the nail technicians would introduce themselves. I never ask for anyone special because I don't learn anyone's name ever. I was at BeOn Nails this past Friday(4 days ago). I went in with the intention of getting my acrylic nails removed and a regular manicure on my natural nails. Any other time I have gotten acrylics removed at any other nail salon, they are removed by soaking in acetone and then filed down. At BeOn, the technician ripped every nail off, which caused my bails to be so thin that they were bleeding. This then led the technician to tell my my nails were "so weak"...hmmmm wonder why????? From there, she practically forced into getting SNS on my nails, which was $40, claiming it would "strengthen" my nails. Well 4 days later and all that's happened is 4 nails had the color peel off, taking some of my nail with it. I don't even want to give BeOn one star because I'm so disgusted in the horrible job they did on my nails. Would not recommend BeOn to anyone. read more

Awful experience here. My daughter & I went here the day before her wedding for mani/pedis. My gel mani only lasted 4 days before it started to chip & bubble under the nails. My daughter had a regular mani that only lasted 2 days & began to chip. Gel manis usually last 2 weeks for me. Went back twice to have it corrected and all they did was fix the nails that were chipped. After the first week I finally took it off myself because it looked horrible. I really like this salon, first impressions walking in, it is really beautiful and comfortable looking. While you are getting your nails done at this salon there is a massage person who comes around and asked if you would like to have a massage, I declined because I had to go back to work shortly but I imagine that would be relaxing!
