THE DEETS: After researching a couple of local carpet places, I am so grateful that I found Elite. We were in the tumultuous process of trying to get new carpet installed within a very tight timeframe. Every place I checked did not have the carpet that I was looking for in stock and it would NOT arrive in time --but Alex at Elite assured me that he had what I wanted in stock or he could order/get it in time, if needed. I was super impressed by the first conversation with Alex because I had already spoken to a few other carpet places and had been getting the same responses from all the others --they would need to access the house to take measurements in order to give me an accurate estimate/quote ---which is NOT easily done when you're in escrow and the house is still occupied by the current owner. Alex assured me that he already knew the measurements because he has access to an exclusive database that contains that information. This was SUCH a relief and a huge game changer --with our challenging timeline, we were able to save a whole day and bypass an entire step in the process and it just made everything so much smoother. Alex also went out of his way to make sure he was available when I arrived at the shop. He showed me several amazing samples of high quality carpet and gave me price quotes on everything. I truly felt like he listened to my needs/concerns and gave me several viable options --I didn't feel like he was just trying to push the most expensive or the most plentiful brands... his carpet selection was unmatched. Personable and professional, Alex has been in the business for decades and his knowledgeable experience really shines. He was willing to accommodate several of our "special requests" and got me a great deal on exactly what I was looking for. Communication throughout the process was great -(which was also very reassuring after I had been ghosted by a different carpet guy). Matching molding would also be required for this job. I contacted the owner, Mike, and he made a same week appointment to provide an estimate. The estimate was super reasonable. Mike and I setup an installation date for the following week. Mike and his assistant arrived on time and went to work. Mike was very efficient and successfully installed a beautiful new door, matching door handle, and matching molding. The result was fantastic! Days later, I asked Mike if he could return to install some additional support slats for for a new bed. I knew it was a small job, but Mike made time to assist me. Mike responded and installed the 11 new slats in no time. His work made the bed super sturdy. Again, Mike's pricing was extremely reasonable. I am glad I met Mike and will definitely reach out to him again whenever I need finish carpentry work completed.

Had a new roof put on and went with the full ridge vent. Was concerned about trapped heat as I was…read moregoing from an old shake on slats to the full cover plywood and asphalt shingle. The garage stayed noticeably cooler with the full ridge vent so yay! The job took 4-days, really 3.5-days with the first 0.5 being a crew who peeled off the old shakes the first day and some supply delivery. 2nd was delivering more supplies, checking for dry rot, replacing as needed, and starting the plywood, and waterproofing. 3rd was shingling and gutters (separate crews), 4th finishing everything up including painting the vents to match with the new roof. Very efficient and well cleaned up after.

We used Nema Roofing for the re-roof of both our main house and our ADU this year and I have to say…read morethey are the most skilled, professional, and also nicest roofers I have ever worked with. They not only handled our roofing, but also helped replace the siding on our dormers that was found to be rotted during the demolition process. We also had them install all new insulation for us since the old insulation was incorrectly installed, insufficient in R-value and also not installed everywhere we needed it. They also replaced our skylights with brand new automatic ones as well, and they handled the whole process of dealing with the skylight manufacturer for us when one of the units we installed turned out to have a faulty control unit. Lots of replacements all done by the Nema team! They go above and beyond!!
