This is the second time we requested Edgar to help with home repair. This was a very serious problem with a couple holes in our hardwood flooring due to moisture damage. He took the few boards we had, worked to lace them into the floor pattern so they matched, avoiding that "fixed a hole look". It is a very professional job, beautiful! I always like to precede any reviews with this statement: I am (in no way) being paid by Redlands Handyman Services. This is simply an honest review. Our house is a remodel. We have had many issues with contractors in the past - having taken multiple contractors to court over fairly egregious issues. We finally figured out that the ONLY reliable contractors and/or handymen (whom we still keep in contact) are all ex-military. Edgar is no exception. We had a combination of tile, wood, transition and painting to be done. Edgar was prompt and kept us in constant communication. He gave us multiple options while working. He worked at half the cost of a licensed contractor. When working even with handymen, one expects a certain amount of marginal work (at least to a minimal degree). Not so with Edgar! His work is clean and precise. My family has a term/award for these types of workers: "Old School." Edgar is as "Old School" as it gets! When he says he'll be there, you can count on it. If there is a job that is above his "level", he will let you know that you may want to hire someone else. You just can't ask for anything else. We will definitely work with him again. read more

Contacted this company because I wanted garage racks installed on the ceiling. I'm fairly handy, however I couldn't find the studs to mount the rack hardware on, so I contacted Redlands Handyman Services. When he came, he searched for the studs and found exactly what I did, a metal bracket in the subfloor that spans the length. That said, he was very honest with me and told me he didn't feel comfortable installing. This honesty is so very much appreciated. Most other companies would take your money and do a shoddy job. Even though we didn't install the racks, I paid him a visit fee and thanked him profusely for his time. If there is anything in the future that I need handyman services on, I will contact this company. read more
