This is long over due - life just caught up with me--but I absolutely had to share my experience with Edgar from Redlands Handyman Service. Edgar patched over 140 holes in my walls after a major rewiring project, and the quality of his work was excellent. He was clean, respectful of my home, and incredibly professional throughout the entire process. He is also very prompt to respond, which made scheduling and communication easy and stress-free. What really stood out was his flexibility. At the last minute, I needed three walls painted before having shades installed, and he went out of his way to accommodate me without hesitation. Edgar is friendly, polite, and truly takes pride in his work. It's not easy finding someone reliable like this--I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a great handyman. read more

He's prompt, works fast, is efficient, organized, polite and cleans up after himself. He also doesn't take on jobs he feels he can't do well - he won't learn off a customer's project. What more could you want? read more

ve had the great fortune of having Edgar help us with a handful of projects, including installing a garbage disposal, sentiment trap for a water heater, replacing two facets, replacing two recessed medicine cabinets, installing a reverse osmosis system, unclogging a dryer vent and a small handful of other general handy man services. The great part of working with Edgar is you can be confident that he's knowledgeable across the board and happy to explain things. As a first time homeowner having someone to help explain general upkeep of annual maintenance to maintain our home is priceless. Edgar has also walked us through a few DIY projects instead of just doing the work giving us the opportunity to do it ourselves and save some money. Edgar is happy to answer questions, doesn't price gouge, is respectful friendly, ON TIME and always does a great job cleaning up after his jobs. We look forward to returning to him for all our general handyman needs in the future. read more

I'm so happy to have found a Handyman in Redlands that I can trust and count on. He did an amazing job replacing two baseboards and two laminate floorboards for me. He was patient with all my questions and was mindful of the fact that I have cats that like to run outside. I received a few different bids and his price was the same as floor specialists. The added bonus of hiring a handyman is his knowledge and overall problem solving skills. He was also just so nice! Thanks again! read more

I found Edgar through yelp. He responded very fast and he was very detailed with his replies. He was honest and up front about everything he could do and not do. He fixed a pocket door knob, adjusted the door as well, and sealed up the old door knob nicely. I would highly recommend him to any friends and family, the past reviews were correct, he's good at what he does. For what I paid for, it was fair pricing. I had called other handymen around the area and no one wanted to take on the task. Thank you read more

I always like to precede any reviews with this statement: I am (in no way) being paid by Redlands Handyman Services. This is simply an honest review. Our house is a remodel. We have had many issues with contractors in the past - having taken multiple contractors to court over fairly egregious issues. We finally figured out that the ONLY reliable contractors and/or handymen (whom we still keep in contact) are all ex-military. Edgar is no exception. We had a combination of tile, wood, transition and painting to be done. Edgar was prompt and kept us in constant communication. He gave us multiple options while working. He worked at half the cost of a licensed contractor. When working even with handymen, one expects a certain amount of marginal work (at least to a minimal degree). Not so with Edgar! His work is clean and precise. My family has a term/award for these types of workers: "Old School." Edgar is as "Old School" as it gets! When he says he'll be there, you can count on it. If there is a job that is above his "level", he will let you know that you may want to hire someone else. You just can't ask for anything else. We will definitely work with him again. read more

Contacted this company because I wanted garage racks installed on the ceiling. I'm fairly handy, however I couldn't find the studs to mount the rack hardware on, so I contacted Redlands Handyman Services. When he came, he searched for the studs and found exactly what I did, a metal bracket in the subfloor that spans the length. That said, he was very honest with me and told me he didn't feel comfortable installing. This honesty is so very much appreciated. Most other companies would take your money and do a shoddy job. Even though we didn't install the racks, I paid him a visit fee and thanked him profusely for his time. If there is anything in the future that I need handyman services on, I will contact this company. read more

This is the second time we requested Edgar to help with home repair. This was a very serious problem with a couple holes in our hardwood flooring due to moisture damage. He took the few boards we had, worked to lace them into the floor pattern so they matched, avoiding that "fixed a hole look". It is a very professional job, beautiful! He also gave us ideas on where to search for more floorboards when needed. What a treasure Redlands Handyman Services is! We look forward to placing a few more home projects in his capable hand this summer. read more

I'd like to give 10 ! Edgar responded to my request almost immediately and provided a fair quote. He arrived on time and prepared. I would most certainly call on him again read more
