Unfortunately, it seems the quality may have declined since then. While the nail design itself was what I requested, the application was not. My biggest concern is the amount of pain I'm experiencing. My fingers have been sore since the appointment, which has never happened to me after getting my nails done. The nails are also much thicker and bulkier than I prefer, and there is a significant amount of excess product underneath the nails. This not only affects the overall appearance but also reflects a lack of attention to detail and proper finishing techniques. But I know a great place and great people and Happy Feet is both awesome and has awesome people who own it. I know what you're thinking. What does a dude from Algiers know about pedicures? Like I said earlier, not much. I know that I occasionally like to get them and have my feet feeling great. In order to understand the full extent of my lack of pedicure knowledge, I will walk you through how I choose which one to get. Step 1 sit in the chair. Step 2, look at the book usually and point at whichever one looks best. I don't put color on my toes ever. Well, there was that one time I let the kids paint my toes hot pink and realized it would take months to come off on its own. That was hard to explain at the doctor and when I had a roommate at work. But, I digress. Phan Phan and Henrietta are two of the most friendly, most funny, and genuinely awesome to be around people. On my very first visit we were treated like I had known them forever. We talked like old friends and I got the best pedicure I have ever received. I even was treated to Phan Phan singing a rock version of a traditional Vietnamese song. These folks make me want to come here and just hang out. What an awesome couple. If you live on the northshore, you should add Happy Feet to your list of places to try.

She knew before touching my nails that the color I wanted wasn't available in Dip. Instead she picks out a color that wasn't even close to the color I wanted. Dip is more expensive.
