He drew up a contract and came out and "fixed" the plumbing, the next day the sewage started backing up into the trailer so when he called him and told him the problem hadn't been fixed he refused to come back out and still insist on charging my grandmother the $500 a month. Do not go to plumber room if you expect good quality service or some One who cares. He's much more interested in scamming old ladies out of their money. In addition, when things get rough, he puts you on the phone with his wife who is very rude. For someone who is expecting $6000 for his services, I would expect a higher quality of customer care.

They said they would call back when they had checked their schedule for availability. I got a call back from a different number, seemed like might not have been the same person, but since I had only called one plumber, I figured it had to be the same guy. We spoke and agreed on a 5PM service call to work on my water softener. I took photos of the unit and sent a detailed text, to which he confirmed. They said someone would be here at 5PM. 5:15 PM no one is here, no ones has called, so I call them back, they said they would call the technician and call me right back. At 5:35PM, still no call back. I call again "the technician is wrapping up another job, he'll be right there" 5:45PM the technician calls me and says..."so what are we doing today, installing a water filter?" I said no, you're repairing a water softener...I sent pictures and a detailed explanation to your boss. "oh, well we don't really do that, there must have been a miscommunication" So I call the number of the guy I have been texting with...and he sends me to voicemail. I text him letting him know what happened and asking for an update. He responds "I'll call you in 1 minute" well, that was almost 30 minutes ago. I would avoid these guys like the plague.

The gas company knocked on my door at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday night; letting me know I had a major gas leak and that they were shutting my gas off until it could be fixed. I immediately messaged 10-15 companies on Yelp and John was the first to get back to me, and with a reasonable estimate. (Other companies quoted an extra charge because of the "urgent" nature of the issue, John did not.) As promised, John showed up first thing the next morning, walked through the leaks with me and explained how he was going to fix them. I live in an old building, and the lines connected to my water heater/furnace had an undisclosed leak. He was here for 3.5-4 hours, and did an incredibly thorough job patching up the lines and replacing the shut off valves. The gas company checked for leaks when they turned the gas back on, and the commented what an amazing job he had done. I will be keeping John's info and will contact him for any and all future plumbing needs. He was very polite, fairly priced, and treated my home like his own.

They left me without gas or hot water for 4 days! Thomas couldn't figure out what the problem was even though Atmos labeled all the leaks. He cut a hole in my wall and left! He said I needed "parts" but the warehouse was already closed. I called the office multiple times to get an update, cost of repairs etc and kept being told someone would call me back. I called another company who said that a permit was never pulled for my house and it has to be done when Atmos cuts you off, new company came out had me fixed within a hour because I didn't need "parts",the city inspector came out the same day too. After my repairs were completed by another company I got a quote from Hawkeye for 3 times the amount it actually cost to get fix! Be aware and stay away from this place. Update he has now increased my amount due for the second time and called Fort Worth to try and press theft charges against me. Truly a horrible company and human. Stay away!

UNTRUSTWORTY .... I am remodeling a shower in a rental property and hired this company to change…read moreout one shower valve. I should have known this experience was going to go bad when they arrived 2 hours late. Within 20 minutes I received a call from the owner attempting to hard sell me on 2 new water heaters and a line cleaning. I asked them to proceed with changing out only the shower valve. They finished and I paid them what turns out to be far more than the normal. Because it is a rental and I was not there to observe, the tenants sent me pictures of the valve the following day. The valve was off center, crocked, and installed at the wrong depth. I asked them to return to fix the issues. Of course he immediately blamed everything and everyone but himself. After going back and forth with texts and phone calls he finally agreed to come back out and fix his poor workmanship after he realized I had photos to proving my claim. I had to connect with the tenants and find out a good time for them. Then I had to reach back out to the owner of the plumbing company and set up an appointment. He set up a time and date to return. On the day of the appointment he did not show, call me or, answer his phone. Unfortunately my tenants missed class for no reason. He finally responded via text and set up another appointment the following business day. I again asked the tenants to be home for the appointment. He did not show again for the appointment. I called and asked when he would be there and he said his technician was a few hours out. Sadly the technician never showed up and again my tenants missed class waiting for them. I sent him a text telling him that it was not professional to not show up and or communicate. I told him that while his actions were disappointing he has one more opportunity to get it right. He had the audacity to text me back saying "we would no longer like to do business with you". Shocking experience. Do be a victim with this company. Use a plumber that is trustworthy

We had asked several other plumbers who were unable to figure out the problem. He took one look at the situation and found a closed valve which prevented the water from flowing through the system. In only minutes, we now have really hot water at all sink and shower locations in the entire house!! He is very personable, polite and professional. Highly, highly recommended!!!

RUN FROM THIS INCOMPETENT AND DISHONEST PLUMBER!!…read more I was scammed by Master Kraft Plumbing. I had Victor come out to repair my bathroom faucet's cartridge and we agreed on a price. He came out, took the faucet apart and claimed it needed more work. He then quoted me almost double of the original amount, which I agreed to since he was already there and had done some work on the outside faucet. Victor asked me to pay him for the day's work (the original amount) which I did. He promised to come back out the next morning to finish up. Victor repeatedly never showed up. He rescheduled over 5 times, each time promising to show up for sure, and then never shows up without a word. Each time we would clear our day's schedule and fruitlessly wait all day. I eventually gave up and realized I had been scammed. Need to find a real reputable plumber to come fix the work Victor left behind. Update: -------- I had another plumber come out, and they found that Victor had cut into the valve and damaged it, making the entire valve (not just the cartridge) to need a replacement. The new plumber has to cut open the closet wall to replace the damaged valve. And then I'll need to hire a carpenter and painter to repair the sheetrock. So Victor himself cut and damaged the valve, had the guts to collect the full pay for the original work (replacing a cartridge), and then was a no-show knowing the damage he had done. I now have to pay a lot extra $$$ to fix the damage done by Victor's incompetence and negligence.
