They said they would call back when they had checked their schedule for availability. I got a call back from a different number, seemed like might not have been the same person, but since I had only called one plumber, I figured it had to be the same guy. We spoke and agreed on a 5PM service call to work on my water softener. I took photos of the unit and sent a detailed text, to which he confirmed. They said someone would be here at 5PM. 5:15 PM no one is here, no ones has called, so I call them back, they said they would call the technician and call me right back. At 5:35PM, still no call back. I call again "the technician is wrapping up another job, he'll be right there" 5:45PM the technician calls me and says..."so what are we doing today, installing a water filter?" I said no, you're repairing a water softener...I sent pictures and a detailed explanation to your boss. "oh, well we don't really do that, there must have been a miscommunication" So I call the number of the guy I have been texting with...and he sends me to voicemail. I text him letting him know what happened and asking for an update. He responds "I'll call you in 1 minute" well, that was almost 30 minutes ago. I would avoid these guys like the plague.

The gas company knocked on my door at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday night; letting me know I had a major gas leak and that they were shutting my gas off until it could be fixed. I immediately messaged 10-15 companies on Yelp and John was the first to get back to me, and with a reasonable estimate. (Other companies quoted an extra charge because of the "urgent" nature of the issue, John did not.) As promised, John showed up first thing the next morning, walked through the leaks with me and explained how he was going to fix them. I live in an old building, and the lines connected to my water heater/furnace had an undisclosed leak. He was here for 3.5-4 hours, and did an incredibly thorough job patching up the lines and replacing the shut off valves. The gas company checked for leaks when they turned the gas back on, and the commented what an amazing job he had done. I will be keeping John's info and will contact him for any and all future plumbing needs. He was very polite, fairly priced, and treated my home like his own.

When my pipes froze he helped me locate and repaired the pipes at a very reasonable price. When I found another leak. He came out as soon as possible to repair it so I could take care of other things. When I need a straight answer I call Bravo.

I woke up this morning to water all over my garage leaking from the hot water heater. I called multiple companies in my area, but was told I'd have to wait days (with a flooded garage and no hot water) or that it would be hundreds of dollars to just come look at it. A neighbor saw me struggling to mop water up in the garage and referred me to Mars and thank goodness he did!! They sent John and Justin out within a few hours and they found the problem and even helped me clean up the mess from the leak. I ended up needing a new hot water heater and when I asked for more information about the price estimate, I was able to talk to the manager Aaron who patiently walked me through everything so I understood exactly what I was paying for. Best part- no one pressured me into upgrades that would cost a fortune!! They replaced the heater and left my garage nice and tidy and I was able to cook dinner and bathe my kids. Do not go to plumber room if you expect good quality service or some One who cares. He's much more interested in scamming old ladies out of their money. In addition, when things get rough, he puts you on the phone with his wife who is very rude. For someone who is expecting $6000 for his services, I would expect a higher quality of customer care.
