I bought a house with a custom shower, which was installed with no liner and no proper drain. Hildebrant came in to remove the tile, put in a proper drain and lay a liner. Half the demo debris were left behind and hidden in the shower seat frame, they cut the liner too short, and so it stopped about three inches from one end of the shower, and they did not go up 12 inches along all sides of the shower. In addition, they made no effort to complete any preparation work for the laying of tile, like putting backing behind the liner. My tile guy had to remove the liner and the debris left behind and redo the job properly. After multiple failed attempts to contact the owner about his poor quality work, I submitted a BBB complaint. I received a call that 50% of my invoice would be reimbursed, that was 6 weeks ago and I still haven't received a check. I have contacted the owner several times to no avail. Do yourself a favor, use another plumber.

Told me he would get the small wire thing, snake? Try that. Told me that would cost $100. He could do it right then. That was great and a very fair price. It was then or come back sometime Monday. Told me it would only take about 15 minutes. He got the toilet to flush much better but explained that there seemed to be something there causing the snake not to easily be fed past the P-trap. Mr. Rangel than told me prices to expect if this happened again. Sometimes the toilet is just incorrectly mounted. Since I'd had guys out here replacing floors & had to pull the toilet, that's a possibility. Or he would need to get a bigger snake. That needs the toilet to be pulled also. Quotes for each. It was all I could do to keep my jaw off the floor. Again, very fair prices if I needed him again. This is a very nice man. While he was there, I asked him about my hot water heater. If it should be replaced because it was 9 years old. Wow! He told me a price range but better than that, suggested I go to a Lowe's or Home Depot & buy a hot water heater alarm. I had no idea that existed. And he showed me the steps to turn off the water AND power to my electric water heater. He shows up in a well-marked company van. I felt comfortable inviting him into my house. He sounds almost too good to be true but he's the real deal.
