This is actually the second time we have used Atomic Plumbing. I was impressed the first time, back in 2019, and meant to write a review, but it slipped my mind. Today's visit was for the same thing: A pinhole sized leak in the copper pipe. The pipe had to be cut out, and due to tight spaces, PEX was crimped in. I was impressed with Jake's skills. I'm now considering getting the house re-piped, and not have to worry future pin hole leaks. Our water supply seem to cause this problem. I'm not the first house on the block with this problem. Shower Issue: In the middle of a warm shower the water would turn exceedingly cold for no reason 5/23/25: We called Atomic Plumbing to look at the Master Bathroom Shower where we are having the issue Atomic Plumbing came out on the 23rd; After troubleshooting they determined the Delta Single Handle Valve (Cartridge) had a bad Anti Scald Valve. To resolve the issue, they removed the old cartridge, and installed a new Delta cartridge (RP4663) recommended by tech. After the work was completed the components were tested and verified according to the Tech who was positive this would resolve our issue. The cost for the Service and Parts was $325 After spending $325 on the first service call the same issue was still occurring, so we had to make a second service call to Atomic Plumbing 5-27 Atomic Plumbing made another Service Call for the same issue The service Tech is now irritated that he had to come out a second time to troubleshoot the issue they didn't' resolve the first time. With a feeble attempt to trouble the same issue, the Tech arrogantly stood in front of the shower for seconds and said he could not find any issues and that the shower was working properly. Again, I explained to Tech that my husband and I are both experiencing the same problem and it is still not resolved. Atomic Plumbing's response "Your issue is fixed and there was nothing they could do". Since they couldn't resolve the issue with the existing Shower head they recommended replacing the existing shower head with the Delta Woodhurst Single Handle shower head. Frustrated with the issue, we agreed The cost for the Service and Parts was $260 Note: His invoice is $260.00 but he charged me $ 270.40 At this point we have spent well over 500 dollars on resolving our original issue BUT now we are having issues with the replacement Delta shower head they installed New Issue: After turning off the shower the shower head continually leaks 5/27/25 We decided to call the Atomic Plumbing owner (Billy Matta) to discuss the issues we have encountered with the money we have spent and the parts that have been wasted trying to resolve our original issue and now the new issue with the replacement Delta shower head is leaking. We were only asking for help!!! The owner, Billy Matta, was extremely rude and belligerent and proceeded to tell me that there was not an issue his techs could find and that we insisted on replacing the device that was not working. We only asked about the replacement Delta part since the techs could not fix existing Delta shower. After a long discussion I mentioned to him that the shower is now dripping water all night long. He rudely informed me that he would send someone out to look at it but basically that is all they can do. He became angry and informed me to find someone else to fix the leak and proceeded to hang up on me This has been the worst customer support I have ever experienced where the owner of a company tells a customer to go to another company to fix their problem Thankfully we took the advice of the Atomic Plumber Owner to find another Company to fix their issue The new company came out and indicated on their invoice that the replacement Delta shower head was dripping and found the cartridge wasn't making proper seal due to the scaling in the shower value. They lightly sanded inside the value and installed a new shower cartridge, checked for leaks. The shower is now working properly thanks to the new company Inconclusion regarding Atomic Plumbing: * Subpar work * Poor customer Service * The owner was very disrespectful, insolent and quick tempered and had no interest in helping us with our concerns * I will never use or recommend Atomic Plumbing to anybody read more

My wife and I were out of country for the weekend when my 21-year-old daughter called to inform us the toilet was backed up. I asked her to contact a plumbing company to come out and snake out the line, she called Atomic Plumbing and was quoted $130.00 for the service call and then would be charged for the service to snake the line. The service man arrives to our home and told my daughter that he could not find the clean out and then proceed to remove all the covers of my septic tank and said it was a septic problem not a plumbing problem he left all the screws out of the 3 covers losing 5 of the screws. He then proceeded to write up the bill for $130 for service call and $180 for removing the septic covers and losing 5 of the screws. That adds up to $ 310 for the service call, he then added wrong and wrote $343.20 as the total owed which my daughter paid for nothing being done at our home. My daughters boyfriend caught the mistake and the service tech said they would credit us back the difference. We returned home on Monday morning to all of toilets backed up. I then went to the side yard and identified the clean outs directly in front of the septic controls as they were in clear view with toilet paper surrounding them and I was able to find the cleanouts and clear the line in less than 5 minutes with a garden hose. After clearing the line, I proceeded to email Bill Mata and explain the situation after emails back and forth I was told they do not credit back money they could only credit me back $150 dollars towards my next service call. I told Billy that this is not acceptable and we will be making formal complaint against his company. We had them put in an additional bathroom. They did a fine job , however they damaged the main waterline to the property in the process of trenching for the septic system. When we called them to correct it they denied causing the damage and would not accept responsibility . We ended up calling another company to repair the water line that the had snagged with the trencher. Buyer beware! read more

Unfortunately, my 13-year-old unit decided to burn up on the hottest week of July. UGH! We hired Atomic Plumbing to do the plumbing in our barndominium build. Billy, the owner came with his crew to bid the job after working late on another one. I was really impressed that he didn't reschedule. Their bid was competitive and they were able to start very quickly. Rick managed the job very efficiently. We didn't have a general contractor and they were so helpful to make suggestions and help me figure out the best options. They were also so patient with me figuring out bathroom fixtures and layout. If I could I'd give no stars. Tim is helpful but he's only capable of so much. The owner is dishonest and unreliable. We have been "working" with this company for months and they installed a water treatment system to purify the water from our well. Our water smells so strongly of sulfur we cannot even shower. He is refusing to refund the money we spent on a system that was installed less than a month ago and is not working properly for our situation and says its not his fault we bought a house with a crappy well - exact words.
