The service could have been a lot better. I walked in and was slightly greeted. The person at the register was too preoccupied with changing the receipt paper in the register to care about what I had came in for. I informed it that I was there for an online order and it pointed to the counter of other orders. Literally pointed, no words. I grabbed my stuff, but noticed they don't give soy sauce or teriyaki on the side like they do in my part of town. So, I waited what felt like forever for it to be done with the register to ask for my additional. It grabbed the soy sauce and sat it on the counter. I was kind of taken back, but I grabbed a few and left the rest. Then, they got a cup and asked the cook to put some sauce in it, then they sat the cup on the counter. I intentionally opened the bag for the sauce to be put in, but it was again placed on the counter. I asked them "why wouldn't you put it on the bag?" And they looked down, creating "busy" work. I left disappointed, but I said they would never have to worry about getting another dollar up out of me. I got to my van and opened my food. It was absolutely nothing special. It looked exactly how it tasted. No flavor at all, besides the mid bottled teriyaki sauce, not an onion or sesame seed in sight. We're supposed to be on strike of these businesses in support of Cyrus Carmack-Belton, so that's kind of what I get for going against that. Not too bad for a quick and easy hibachi meal. The teriyaki chicken was actually very flavorful and tender. Fried rice was fine but didn't have a lot of flavor. The bento box comes with salad, a spring roll, and California roll. The spring roll is your regular frozen roll. Overall a standard average meal for the price. We didn't know the meal doesnt come with any yum yum sauce and that's something you have to pay $1 extra for. Inside, due to the seating styles and food styles (lunch box style hence bento) give it a cafeteria vibe. Service was super quick and the ladies handling me were extremely kind! I ordered a few different rolls - Spicy Tuna Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, Dynamite roll, Dragon Roll, and Rainbow roll. The food was mediocre. I was extremely starving so usually things taste 10 times better when so; but the food was just really passable. The fish didn't seem super fresh nor was the flavoring of any of the special rolls great. Too much sauce for some yet the flavoring wasn't really exquisite. I believe the pricing is fair for the amount of food but not so sure about the quality of it. Overall, 5/10 would recommend (their sushi at least). Stopped by today for a quick bite to eat. It was great. Since it was brand new, everything was bright and clean. There was a simple menu with a decent selection. We ordered at the counter, then sat at a table for a few minutes until everything was ready. The shrimp and vegetable tempura appetizer was 2 shrimp, 2 pieces of sweet potato, and 2 pieces of zucchini. It was nice and crunchy. I wasn't a huge fan of the dipping sauce, it was different than what I'm used to, but the tempura was hot and crunchy. My son gobbled down his dragon roll before I could grab a bite, but he loved it. I ordered a steak teriyaki bento box delux. The steak was juicy and tender, not at all dry. The sauce was good and not syrupy or too sweet like some sauces can be. It came with 4 pieces of California roll, a spring roll, and a little salad. Overall, everything Was great. I don't think it was anything that was out of this world, but for the price and convenience, it was great. We will definitely be back! read more

First Yelp review ever.... I am compelled to leave a review after my last visit to Oh George with my wife. The food was good - we both had the Buddha Bowls as we are trying be meatless these days...not to be hip...but for health benefits...we are OLD people. It was nice to see a couple those options on the menu. Oh George has always been our go to when visiting George Mason and it's modern pub feel is unique to the area. The real reason for the review is related to our server - Ryan...it has been some time since I have had a server that was so on point. This is the first time we've tried this place; The food was decent for delivery, but unfortunately one of the sushi dishes (yellowtail sashimi) was bad. I tried to call the restaurant to let them know so another customer wouldn't have a similarly bad experience, but there was a communication issues and I gave up. We might try this place again, but probably dine in to get the full experience. I was a little disappointed with the small selection of sushi, but I guess that's to be expected given their name/focus - Bento Boxes. We ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box, and it wasn't bad, just a lot of rice. Again, probably going to try again, but probably a dine-in experience. They do not give you "yum yum" sauce but you can buy a very small to-go ramekin of it for $.80 each. I mean you can't give 1 sauce with a almost $20 lunch which is a smaller than average portion - which is okay for lunch but it should be about $10-12 to make the value worth going back. This is my first bento box experience and it was a pretty good one. When you arrive you can either order with the cashier or you can use the screen to order. They have a good amount of selections. You can choose from the variety of their bento boxes, ramen, sushi, sashimi, you name it! I like this place because you can get a variety of items.
