The latest trend in New Hampshire lately is charging you to use your credit card well, I use my credit card all the time and I'm not gonna pay you extra for any inconvenience. That's ridiculous. What an incentive !wont be back to your place. I don't carry cash so you won't see me there . you are the loser now somebody somewhere will take my credit card and not charge me extra as I already pay finance charge. I don't need an extra charge from you. Thanks though. Good luck. not bad overall .

This casual family owned and operated restaurant cafe serves up breakfast all day and lunch. The place was redone with a brighter and an inviting atmosphere with booths along the walls and in front, table seating in the center and counter seating in the dining area. There are patriotic prints on the walls and checkered floors remain. I've picked up Lebanese and Italian food from the previous restaurant in this space and it's bittersweet seeing a small town breakfast and lunch spot open up in its place. There are a few other options in this area, but spread out. I decided to stop by here for breakfast before work. I got here just before 6:30 and sat myself in a booth which had menus to look at. The breakfast menu offerings include breakfast platters, 3 egg omelettes, pancakes, French toast, Belgian waffles, breakfast burritos, Tony The Tiger (frosted flakes French toast), hash (canned and homemade (soon)) and breakfast sides. The lunch menu offerings include fried appetizers, hand cut fries, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, soup, chili, salads, comfort dishes, and daily specials. The prices seem fair, most meals $8 to $15 range (in 2024). After I was seated, the server came over and offered a drink and I requested an ice water since I already had coffee beforehand. They did not have homemade hash yet, so I eventually decided to go with the Steak Bomb Omelette ($13.50 plus tax) with choice of toast (I chose sourdough) and one side (I got home fries). My food was served in about 8 minutes after ordering. There was a good amount of hot food on my plate. The omelette was filled with grilled shaved steak, green peppers, onions, mushrooms & cheese (I chose cheddar) with a folded thin egg sheet. This omelette was pretty good. The home fries were fresh cut potatoes (cube cut) lightly grilled and seasoned, which were potatoey and with the skins. The sour dough toast was firm and had minimal butter. The server dropped off the check as I was almost done eating, no rush. The check was $14.65 with tax and before tip. Overall, this is a good place stop for food and I plan to stop by for lunch next time since I saw they had chicken tenders, reubens, monte cristos, mac & cheese, and spaghetti & meatballs (Wednesdays). The friendly staff knew people by name as they stopped in for breakfast. The service for weekday breakfast was prompt and I was able to make to work on time. It is noted they are closed on Sundays (at the time of this posting).

I said "may I take the muffin now, didn't know it would be queued up behind five other breakfast orders, to warm-up a muffin." Writing this not to slam but because it is such a lack of obvious, common sense practice for a kitchen that the owners should know and train staff. I see no reason not to go back if I was in the area.

Really pretty view, especially if you're looking to sit outside. We ended up at the bar, which was fine since we wanted the full bar experience. The vibe inside leans biker themed with an energetic but laid back atmosphere. TVs at the bar were showing sports and game shows, and even though it was mid afternoon and not super busy, there was a fun mix of people chatting and hanging out. Beer selection was decent, and the bartender recommended the buffalo chicken pizza. It took a little longer than expected to come out, but we didn't mind since we were enjoying our drinks. When it arrived, it was piping hot, cheesy, and flavorful. The buffalo sauce had just the right amount of kick without being overwhelming. My only wish: a bit more chicken on top. We also ordered a basket of fries, which looked like steak fries but were actually nicely crispy and had great texture. Perfect for snacking with drinks. Overall, this is a great casual spot for grabbing a beer and some solid bar food. Next time, I definitely want to sit out on the patio and enjoy that water view. I'll be back!

Service proved pleasant, with coffee proactively topped up. The waitress offered to fill up a to-go cup of coffee at no extra cost as I settled the bill . But here is my only complaint.... The scones are not great. I think it is nice that they have a wide variety of pastries. But the scone (blueberry white chocolate) was both super dry and overly sweet. I couldn't even finish it. It was honestly reminiscent of crumbl cookies. So if you like sickeningly sweet scones (like the cookies at Crumbl!), then this would be great. I've had scones like this where it is balanced, but I fear this was too much and I probably won't get a scone here the next time I come.
