Consistently terrible service. They are always understaffed regardless of how busy the night is. When service does arrive the servers are unapologetic and somewhat rude. We've given it 3-4 tries but its always the same. Were done. read more

Just had one of the most awful restaurant experiences ever. While the pizza was descent and the server was nice enough, I can't say anything nice about the rest of the evening. Let's start with the crappy parking (which in all honesty we knew about ahead of time but still sucks), followed by catching at least 2 of the employees hanging off the back stoop in a cloud of pot smoke on our way into the restaurant. So we enter with no greeting or direction as to where to sit and follow the overhead sign that says we may seat ourselves. Knowing full well we'd have a table of 6 adults and 2 kids plus several pizzas, we sat on the much less crowded side of the restaurant at 2 tables. Being there a few minutes, we were then asked to move to the complete opposite side of the restaurant as that half of the place was being closed for the evening. How much extra work is it for our server to walk an extra 10 steps to the less crowded table we'd originally chosen and be comfortable at? So, long story short, we were served frozen marinara with our breadsticks, the server tried to cram 5 pizzas on the table leaving at least 2 people to hold their plates to eat as there was no table room, the music was blaring, our drink refill request was ignored, and to top it off.... We got to pay the automatic 18% gratuity for this ridiculous experience. Thanks for nothing Benniditos Pizza, we won't be back. read more

Bennidito's has decent pizza at a good price. Usually the beer selection is pretty good, as I like a stiff imperial IPA and they always have one on tap. I think this is the perfect spot for a soccer team to get together after a game and share a giant pizza. But it's not the best pizza in town, and it's not the best service you'll find. The service was average, we were there on a Sunday night. Prices are decent, but the pizza wasn't very good. One was the double pepperoni, can't go wrong right? You'd be surprised. I got the margarita pizza, not a fan. The crust was burnt and the center wasn't cooked thoroughly. Had one slice and that was enough. Don't plan on going back. read more

Ate there twice and the service was horrible both times. First time they lost our order and we had to wait over and hour and a half for food. This time we got there around 6:30 and didn't get our pizza until almost 8. We saw other people come in after us who ate and left before we were even served. The pizza was ok, but not worth the wait. Good pizza's, crust and sauce but their calzones are the bomb and its what I usually get from them if I want a good calzone. I always create my own calzone since they lots of good toppings to pick from and they load up their calzones. Not the best to place to sit down and eat, you are better off ordering from them. read more

I am extremely disappointed in Bennitditos. My parents were in town and I wanted to take them to a local Spokane pizza place. The service was absolutely terrible. So bad that we actually got up and left the restaurant before we had an opportunity to order. In the past the pizza has been good, but not worth for the bad service. Bennidito's isn't for everybody. If you want to feel like you are somebody special because you have $50 dollars in your wallet don't go. The ingredients are high quality and plentiful, the beers aren't my style but are good enough for what else I get from the atmosphere. The staff is about getting you what you need, not about wooing you to come back. My wife and I are long time customers and have recently moved back from NYC. My entire family are regulars down to cousins and in-laws. It is in the top 5 places in Spokane where I take out of town clients and partners. If you don't understand the charm don't come and leave the place to us who do. read more

Tried this place after it beat David's for best pizza in the annual best of poll. I am amazed that it won. The sauce tasted gross and those beer buddies that everyone raves about where not very good. Also asked for extra cheese and I think they actually put less cheese on it. Then to top it off it was very very expensive for basically eating Pizza Hut quality pizza. How this beats David's Pizza for best pizza is beyond me but really says something about Spokane's lack of taste in good food......but then this is also where Luigi's is a popular italian food restaurant and that place is worse than the Olive Garden and probably one of the best italian restaurants in the Northwest, the Italian Kitchen, is right across the street. Ok sorry about getting side tracked.....but really this pizza isn't anything special, I wont order it again, not nearly worth the price they are charging for it. Every time I have ordered pizza for delivery there has been a mistake, and one time the order had to be re-done twice because of their error. They added cheese to a pizza that was not supposed to have it, another time they forgot to put artichokes on a pizza that is supposed to have them on it. Yet again, they delivered a pizza that was supposed to be vegetarian and a pizza with chicken was delivered. I called to have the pizza replaced with the vegetarian pizza on the menu that I actually ordered, and there wasn't a manager available on a Saturday night. What restaurant doesn't have a manager in-house on a Saturday night? There was nobody in charge and the employee I talked to (a young female) gave me attitude, and told me I would be charged for their mistake. When I explained to her why that should not happen she said she would get a server to talk to me and eventually I was hung up on while waiting to talk to the server 'in charge.' I called back and got the same run around. I live in the neighborhood and most likely will not be returning and will discourage my neighbors from supporting Bennidito's. I cannot believe the incompetence of the individuals working and 'managing' this place. read more

The problem with this business is their HORRIFIC service and complete lack of customer care for people in general. They 100% stink. The community in general talks about the extraordinarily consistent poor customer service aspect of their business. CLEARLY, the OWNER knows this and doesn't care or create an environment that supports care for the customers. He thinks it is ok to treat people like XXXX. I wish people would stop supporting this organization, because they shouldn't be in business. I just had food delivered and they forgot to provide part of the order. (This isn't the first time. I rarely break down and order from them because I hate their customer service, but thought I would try again.) I called immediately and asked if the driver could bring the missing items. The EXTREMELY RUDE girl on the phone informed me they couldn't. When I asked what they could do to remedy this, she told me they couldn't do anything, they were "too busy". OMG.... when I asked to speak to a manager, she told me no one was available. She said I could call the next day if I wanted. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it to me and said "I don't have to tell you" in the snottiest, most immature voice. I tried several times to no avail. PLEASE people, don't support this organization with your business. They don't care about you and you shouldn't care about them. The food isn't worth the treatment. read more

We made the mistake of ordering our pizza to be delivered. While I was placing my order by phone, the girl taking my order, address, and phone number was giggling with someone in the background. I repeated everything twice to make sure she had our info correct. She told me our pizza would be delivered in 45 minutes to an hour. An hour and a half later, still no pizza. I called back and the guy I spoke with let me know that they couldn't find our address, and my phone number wasn't working. Well, it turns out that the girl wrote down the wrong address and also the wrong phone number. Awesome job. The guy apologized and said that they would get our pizza out to us as soon as possible at no charge, which I really appreciated. When the pizza finally arrived, the delivery guy really apologized and said the girl was screwing everything up. The pizza was really good. Word of advice Bennidito's, don't let that girl answer your phones anymore! read more

We received terrible service trying to place a phone order for lunch delivery. A group of workers decided that we wanted to place a larger order for several of us. We got all of the orders together and had one person call to place the orders. He had two cards and the rest cash. He told the person taking our order this to start with and tried to ask what the best way to place the order was. The gentleman on the phone was very abrupt and rude. He refused to give us totals on the orders and said he was very busy and didn't have time for that. He also made several rude comments during the order and sighed loudly several times. When the group was told about how the person ordering was treated, we called back and asked to speak with a manger. We were told the person on the phone was the "closest we'd get to a manager right now" and then that man, Derrick, was very rude as well. We were basically told that due to how busy they were, they didn't have time to hear our concern or address the issue. We cancelled our order and will be taking our business elsewhere in the future. They missed out on an order totaling over $100 and didn't care to even attempt to apologize for the poor service. read more

We found ourselves here because a local sporting shop highly recommended the pizza. We are from out of town, so we took the recommendation knowing full well going in our palates are slightly more refined than the folks that sent us there. So we had an average server and about average food to the tune of around $30 bucks drinking only water with tip. In the end we were no longer hungry,didn't spend much money and it didn't take to long to experience all this, so scale 1-10 about a 4. Then midnight rolled around and everything changed,(the 4 rating dropped to a 0). I was greeted by undigested pizza (ie: goat cheese, onions, crust, etc.)coming out of my nose, mouth and rectum. So here we are in the hotel fighting to share the toilet and the one trash can between us both. We fight our sickness throughout the morning hours, and decide to muster up the courage to call the restaurant to tell them whats going on. After hanging up I'm led to believe I'm at fault because I obviously have a week stomach because no one else complained. The problem didn't happen here I was told, although their pizza is still quite recognizable in the trash can. I'm at a loss we ate granola fresh fruit and water earlier in the day all that was gone, it would seem to me the precipitating event was the pizza. Maybe I'm crazy but I don't think its an absurd request to have my money back, their idea of compensation is to give me another pizza, what should I do with the pizza save it for nuisance animals in the yard? To ad insult to injury the manager then owner type person are rude and border on confrontational to both me and my wife. So the outcome is we will get better and will honor the food service statistic that a good meal shared with 3 people and a poor one is shared with 11. So off to find more restaurant review forums. read more

After a previously disappointing experience with Bennidito's, I decided to give them a try and support our local place. Needed pizza delivered for a client meeting at 11:30. Noon was agreed on with it being sooner rather than later if possible. 30 minutes after the latest time it should have been there (the meeting was over half done) I called to see when it would arrive. "Any minute, she is out with them now" was the response. The meeting ended shortly before 1:00 and still no pizza. I called back. Same answer. I complained that the meeting we were providing this for was almost done and I was not happy with the timeliness. He said to cancel the order but since it was already out for delivery, they would leave it. The delivery driver was not okay with that. We ended up splitting the bill (I hope, haven't seen a revised receipt yet). As the delivery was so late, I had to leave so didn't even get a piece so I can't say if it was good or not. She did apologize and said how busy they were. I asked why someone didn't call to tell me they were running late.She agreed that someone should have called. Too late. My advise: Think twice before ordering if you have any timeline at all. read more

I have been to bennidito's several times and it has never been this bad. Food was great but service was not great. I went there to sit down and eat. My boyfriend and I tried sitting at a table and the manager moved up to the other side of the restaurant because they were going to close one side down, at 7pm. Then we went to sit at one of the only clean booths they had and he moved us again and asked us to sit at a dirty table that he just wiped down when he tried to move us there. We asked for our beer buddies to be lightly browned and they were nearly burnt. The guy who put our beer buddies in a bag to go was touching them with his bare hands. I was disgusted as you can see everything they are doing because it's an open concept. I was so disappointed. The manager didn't care that he made us feel uncomfortable and made us not even want to sit there and eat. Very bad attitude. I would not recommend eating there because of the service.
