I liked it, too, because from what I know this is the first Indian-style pizza in our metro. This style has been all over major cities for several years--and I've tried it on vacation before in the throes of inebriated hunger. These guys stand up well for a convenience store offering. Flavors were good. One thing I will recommend: eat it fresh and hot when you get it. It tastes/feels more like pizza we're all familiar with. After it sits a bit, the crust starts to expand, and takes a dense cracker-like quality. Not horrible, but not pizza you are probably used to. But the fact that it was easy to call in, have the Wifey pick it up on the way home from work, and the house likes it, bodes well for future orders...

Good for kids, not to busy I have it three stars because they seemed a bit understaffed. There was one employee working the floor and we were not asked once if we needed anything else. It was to the point when we were finished eating I had to go to the counter to pay for our food. She said she was suppose to bring our check to us, but she did not. The salad bar was good. The only complaint is none of the dressings are labeled and when I asked if any were fat free or "lite" dressings the waitress said no. I will know next time to bring my own dressing.

The restaurant has a rustic, lodge-style feel that fits the menu really well, and everything was very clean and comfortable. Our wait staff was attentive from the beginning and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. My wife ordered the Prime Rib Dip, which was really good and came with a generous portion. I went with the bison burger cooked medium rare, and it was outstanding, easily one of the better burgers I've had. Given that Rusty Moose puts a lot of emphasis on burgers, steaks, and wild game, the bison burger felt like exactly the right thing to try on a first visit. I also had a side Caesar salad, which was fresh and nicely done. We finished with cheesecake, which was surprisingly light and not overly rich or heavy. We ended up sitting and talking with our friends for about two hours, and even after the meal was finished, the staff continued to check on us and never made us feel rushed.

While they did have great tasting ban chan, the main dishes we ordered lacked....taste. I don't know how to better describe it, but they just missed some umami flavor. We ordered KalBi (which was sizzling) and yukgaejung (spicy beef soup which was also bubbling). See attached pics. The soup was described as spicy, but lacked flavor. The KalBi was cooked perfectly, with char on some pieces, but also lacked flavor. Sorry, wished I could have scored the meal more but it just lacked that flavor we were looking for. *** Update - the restaurant reached out and asked on how they could improve so the review gets bumped up from three stars to 4 stars. Thank you for asking. For the KalBi, maybe more shoyu, ginger and honey would help bring out more flavor. As for the yukgaejung maybe a little more sesame oil may do the trick? I appreciate the fact that the restaurant actually read my review and solicited feedback.

It's time to update my previous remarks about Epic. They've always been pretty darn good to me (for…read moreme?), anyway, but I popped in for a solo visit recently. I asked for one of the quiet, back corner booths so I could hear myself think (well? IT IS A SPORTS BAR, lol) so be it. The food was well prepared, temperature appropriate, hearty portion and at a competitive price. But the highlight was the table service. While I confess to always expecting to be spoiled rotten ... like the Rolling Stones' song says "You can't always get what you want..." -- BUT ... in this case, TARA took care of the table. OMG, where to start??? She knew her menu, had great suggestions, and her outgoing personality and sincere smile made me feel like mine was the only table she had to deal with. Yes, I got that spoiled rotten feeling! Simply Outstanding! Now go to Epic and if fate smiles upon you, maybe Tara will get your table! (You can thank me later... a bowl of French onion soup and a cold tapper will do nicely.)

They were nothing amazing but we were starving. We ordered our food at 5:40 pm and the onion rings came out in about 10 minutes. The fish was horrible mostly breading with no seasoning (not even salt), fries were cooked well but were missing seasoning as well, the coleslaw was literally just mayo and cabbage. Another 10 minutes pass and they bring out some kind of pork salad thing so we sent it back to get the correct food. 20 more minutes go by and the "tacos" finally show up and somehow were cold and soggy. This may be our last time coming back to epic.
