It was a very special trip for us today to get that particular can of paint because a few years ago my sister was deathly ill and has had to take the room downstairs till she got better and finally now is able to go back upstairs to her own room to her favorite paint color so as any time would be your kindness would be appreciated but especially this trip it's a special time for her! No one called me to let me know the paint was ready. I asked her when it was ready, and she snaps "I don't know I wasn't here". I immediately remembered her from my last visit where she had to fully disclose they will paint match but it's not guaranteed. Why doesn't she just say it out loud, "HOW CAN I NOT HELP YOU"? Then she looks up my account by name. As we're standing there for a good solid minute I say, can you put this on my account. She says "I need your ID" sure but why don't you ask for it instead of just standing there, breathing, and existing. Then she sarcastically says, "HAVE A NICE DAY". Your life must be sad to be that angry at strangers. Good lord lady- get a job somewhere else if you don't want to help anyone at Kelly Moore. I don't normally post agro reviews but you're attitude is horrible on the two visits to this KM store.

So I went to Rubenstein's a bought 600+ dollars of parts, and I told the counter guys "this stuff is probably all coming back, I wish you had a restocking fee because it's only fair that I pay for borrowing the parts." they just waved me off and assured me come on back we'll take care of you. At the end of the day, only the most expensive part, the valve, and 1 other part was needed to close up the line, finish the job, and put a smile on my customer's face. Two days later, I returned everything else and the guys were unfailingly upbeat and helpful. For a plumbing store, in this particular situation, this is unusual. I left feeling good about the whole process.

But if you are there for the showroom or to talk to the sales people, the show room opens at 10am. When we got there it was 9:15am, so we waited outside and as the time went, more people lined up as they all thought they opened at 8. Once inside, the sales people are very friendly and nice. Kyle helped me out given my contact was on vacation. They are not on commission base, so there's less selling pressure. He showed me all the fixtures, the bidet options, the sink and their bathroom could be double used as a showroom. You can certainly try the bidet setup there to get a feel of an upgrade from the normal toilet. I like the sink they carry which is Toto and the maintenance is easy. Kyle was detail-oriented and he even discussed the option of having the overflow drain on the inside or facing the outside. After the discussion, once he puts a quote together for the items we were interested in, the rest could be done via email. So after shopping around, we emailed him about what we wanted and asked more questions for other items' specs. Everything was done on email and was convenient. After we finalize the decisions and Kyle put in the sales order, I just need to call them to pay with credit card. The whole process is seamless. Discounts are also applied if the contractor has an account with them. Once we had the order, I just need to drop it to the contractor and they will do the pickup. Easy peasy.....

I did have a couple of very specific items that I would purchase if the price was right. I had a caliper/vernier on the list. Mine has lost its tiny electric brain and is crazy. I spotted the mechanical one that I wanted. The quality was astonishing, this tool will certainly last forever. Honestly, I could include this item in my will. It was certainly more expensive than the electronic one that I got from Harbor Freight. I've tried to use the Harbor Freight version, but it was useless. So for this particular tool pay for the quality. Making a shopping list was certainly more productive than actually walking into the store with a pre-generated list. I spotted a lot of items that I knew I was out of, but hasn't made it onto any list at all. I spotted a Dremel tool at a very low price. It may have been on clearance. Now I do want a Dremel tool, but I would use it so infrequently that it's hard to justify. However, the price was low enough that I felt much temptation. I must have been completely turned around the first time I was in the store. This time I found the clearance bins. As usual I found quite a few items to tempt me. I managed to hold my horses and resist but it wasn't easy. The store is also bigger than I realized. Which means the greatest barrier to shopping is finding your item in the maze. I didn't buy anything so my take on customer service is a little shaky. However, the staff did seem to be awfully efficient And the line moved rapidly. This store is part of a chain, and I have certainly been in bigger ones. But I didn't miss the size. They have simply jammed a lot of inventory into a smaller space. But you do need a sharp eye just in case you walk by an item. I like this hardware store. But there is one way close to me at home which I like faintly better. So I'm going home with my shopping list.

This is a big store and you can check out their products online as well…read more Our contractor recommended this place as he has an account there with deep discount that can be passed onto the customers. They have a variety of tile selections and most of them were imported from Italy or Spain which with better quality there's less yield loss, hence you can buy less. Some of the special priced items have longer lead times, so make sure you double check with them. We didn't enjoy the process as much as with other shops because of 3 reasons. First of all, our sales contact was quite unavailable on the weekends or even Friday afternoons, so we had a hard time scheduling with her. But if you just walk in and ask for help from the front desk, they will assign someone to help. The second issue we found was the inconsistency of product introductions. We were worried about slippery tiles in the shower, our sales contact suggested us to focus on the tiles that have a special coating. The second sales person we talked to said the special coating was only for outdoor use, using the gauge lines between tiles is good enough to prevent slipping. Thirdly, after we got the quote, we couldn't place the order into the system with our contractor's discount; only that appointed sales person could do. Luckily we could get the rest of the process done via email and she sent out a link for me to make payment. If you have a Rakuten cash back app and pay online, I think you get the cash back as well.

They might not have a crazy, custom assortment of italian this and thats, but it's plenty to choose from., you just have to use your imagination. I got some mosaic tile here, also a bathroom vanity and a TOTO toilet. Prices are competitive, and way BETTER than others with better showrooms and bigger overheads. They take returns with 25% restocking free, or 100% full store credit to use again.
