Its hard to find a good CMT when traveling and places like the Massage Envy chain and other spas (Burke WIlliams, etc) just weren't cutting it when it came to real relief. I am SO GLAD I was introduced to Jennie Oblander in Walnut Creek! I walked into her office and felt like I was in a safe space. She had a big smile and a warm laugh. This is such an improvement over many brick-and-mortar prenatal massages, which are on a regular table with you lying sideways. The difference in quality of the massage on my back with the prenatal table is night and day. I also really like that booking is super easy and no app or website logins are needed. We usually just verbally agree on a time in person or via text, then Kelli texts to confirm and sends a reminder the day before. Finally, I am a chatty person and really enjoy my conversations with Kelli. She is an open book and sharer like me and I feel like I've gotten to know her well. My first appointment (March 9th) with him was the BEST therapeutic experience I've ever had - and it definitely won't be the last. MY ONLY REGRET is not booking him sooner & wasting my money elsewhere in the past. Vadim has all the COVID protocols in place, including UV disinfectants, air purifiers & limited clients per day. His massage room was immaculately clean and it was very obvious that he cared about both my safety & comfort, as well as his own. I was greeted by Amy (who I believe is the manager). I explained my condition(s) and she seemed knowledgeable so I decided to try 1 hour. She suggested Mary as my therapist. She spoke nominal english but understood what I needed. Mary did an excellent job working my lower back muscles, calves and the tightness in my shoulders.
