The ambiance was the only good thing about this place. We were sorely disappointed at the service. Us and many other tables were served the wrong items not per order. After waiting an hour for the food, one dish was brought and the second took another 15 mins . I have been to many mom and pop places and never has the service been so bad. Food was mediocre and totally bland. We were even given the wrong bread. Thankfully they took the charge for the wrong dish off the bill but it really didn't make up for the long wait and wrong items . The apologies made by the matron were not genuine as she walked around saying sorry with a smile throwing her hands up in the air. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone . Calling all Egg Benny experts. While in the area we stumbled upon this little gem. Upon arrival I really did not expect much but, Holy Moly was I about to get a pleasant surprise! Prices are truly amazing!! I will say that most places I go for breakfast, I always like to order Eggs Benny, its "a thing." Some places prepare them and meh, they are edible, some use the fake powder stuff for the sauce but this place.... WOW!! No fake stuff here. One of the best Eggs Benny I have ever had in my life and I have been around for quite some time. The staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive without hovering yet they seem to know when you need something or not. Bring cash because that is what they like :) Cash is King. I will take photos the next time I am in the area. I might even drive there (2 hours) or find an excuse to eat there again. Hmm I might look up the time schedules to view ships coming through the area and make that the reason I have to go. There are bike trails through this area, recreational kayaking, canoeing, swimming and may other things to do here. read more

We were in Welland for a hockey tournament and happened upon this gem! Ended up going back the next day with two hockey families and it was just as delicious and charming. Really lovely people run this place with the care and attention that is the hallmark of a classic family-run establishment. Really good portions and reasonably priced. Excellent high quality ingredients, and great service (even with some rambunctious kids). Highly recommend! read more

The best eggs Benedict you'll find in Niagara by far !!!!!!!!! I do not say this lightly. I travel from St Catharines to Welland to taste this little piece of heaven. That hollandaise sauce is something I day dream about on a lonely night. SO GOOD! The ladies working are always pleasant on the phone and at pickup. read more

We asked for table of 4 plus a high chair and they shoved us in the middle where everyone walks by and then told us that we had to move the highchair so that people can walk , i told her that they where the ones to put us here and then she move the highchair right in the side of my body then i said well theres a booth open out of the way and she replied no that was for other people that asked for it , and these people had came 10 minutes after us . If you dont have room for highchairs then just say no kids . read more

The hollandaise sauce seemed to be made from mayo and maybe a touch of cayan. disgusting. as we all know, hollandaise sauce should be butter, egg yoke, cayan... there was no butter in the sauce, nor egg yoke. the two main ingredients. i supose i WAS in welland, and can only expect so much, but when you carry the name of your main dish, you need to know how to serve it up! read more

Breakfast are good and well priced . Service is much better than other breakfast diners in the local area. Coffee was fresh and I have never had to wait for my mug to cool for another cup to be poured (even if it was Über busy. Homefries are a tad salty and not vegan ( I believe the server mentioned they add chicken stock). On the rare occasion where something was burnt (or just not right) they quickly took care of it with honesty. The diner is clean and staff look happy when they are on the floor. read more

Took my daughter for breakfast. Thought eggs Benedict would be the best choice as that is the name! Price was OK kinda high. Have to say the Benny sauce tasted like miracle whip with an extra egg yolk and spices. Heard about this place from others who said it was a good place for breakfast but our experience was anything but good. Ordered the breakfast special and got scrambled eggs from a milk carton. The breakfast sausage was half cooked and cold. That's not what I call a good dining experience. read more

The place to go for breakfast! Benedict's has VERY good priced large portioned meals. One thing to keep in mind is that they don't take cards, so bring cash! They do have an on-site ATM but who likes fees? read more

Cold eggs! I wasn't impressed and doubt I'll return. The server seemed too busy and people who arrived 15-min after me were served their orders same time as my breakfast.
