Gluten free Pancake with two egg add-ons.
    Cher A.

We stopped by Rosie's for breakfast and had a good experience. The service is really good and the employees are really hospitable. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table because they are very popular. It's located in a cute town along the waterfront and we found it a bit difficult to find parking. The menu is nice because they have a lot of gluten free options but everything at this restaurant is an add-on. I ordered a gluten free pancake with 2 eggs. The pancake was the biggest pancake I have ever received at a restaurant. It was bigger than my hand. It tasted good and went well with the eggs. Toast would have been extra and there was a surcharge to make the pancakes gluten free. I found this restaurant more expensive than the other restaurant we frequent when visiting the area. The ambiance is cute and typical of a traditional diner / breakfast place. Would We Return? Possibly, if I'm in the mood for pancakes.

I just have to say, this is the place for a delicious meal with the friendliest people serving you. The service is top notch. The pancake was amazing! My husband and I were just there, must visit again!

Solid breakfast experience.. good coffee, menu is basic enough but includes some fun options, staff is friendly. I had the Dalhousie Delight with cinnamon raisin toast & hubby had the classic eggs Benedict. Both perfect sized portions, both cleaned the plate.

Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich, Egg Wrap and Chicken Noodle Soup

I visited on a Sunday morning, around 10:30am, and didn't have to wait too long to be seated (party of 2). However, near the end of my meal (11:30am), the lineup was getting long so I definitely recommend stopping by earlier than later. The restaurant itself was quite cozy and the menu had a good variety of items (+ keto options which I thought was interesting). We ordered the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich, the Egg Wrap and the Chicken Noodle soup (see picture). All the dishes were solid and came in perfect portions. I wanted to try their special coffee (Alkaline Coffee and Tea infused with Ganoderma Lucidum) but decided to go with their original coffee since it came with refills (the special coffee doesn't). Overall, you can't go wrong with Rozie's if you're looking for a fun breakfast spot with a decent selections in Port Dalhousie. Next time, I'll be trying the Smoked Salmon Benedict and Alkaline Coffee.

GF French toast + eggs + potatoes. I think they use the BFree bread for GF stuff.

I really liked my breakfast at Rozie's. The coffee was hot, fresh, and not burnt. They had an alternative milk option of almond milk and they had gluten free options for French toast, waffles, and pancakes. I also liked the breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs. However, I was shocked to see Aunt Jemima syrup bottles used for the syrup-dependent breakfast foods. I kept trying to figure out if the use of Aunt Jemima "syrup" bottle was a gag or if it was really the glucose syrup with maple flavoring liquid that's used to pass off as maple syrup. My husband said it was definitely the fake stuff but it was hard to tell on the French toast. It was mostly confusing considering how they appealed to so many different diets (keto, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, etc.) and then they put the cancer-filled syrup on the table. Also, ITS CANADA (aka Delicious Maple Syrup land to us, Americans). I don't know for sure if it was a gag but it left a bad taste in my mouth - literally and figuratively.

I asked the waitress if the cheese could be melted & was told there was really no way to do it. It could be put under a heat lamp but that would take some time. We have asked for our eggs this way at other establishments and never received them like this. The bacon was floppy & needed to be cooked more. My daughter loves pancakes, but she wouldn't eat the ones here. I tasted them, and they were very dense, and tasted like they were from a not-so-great boxed mix. The sausage was good, as was the homemade strawberry jam, and the staff was great, but we won't be returning to any Stacks restaurants.

The creative way you can order your pancakes is limitless. I had the Stacked - 2 eggs cooked any way you want them,I ordered over medium which is hard to do and they came out perfect, hash browns, 2 bacon strips, 2 sausage links, with 2 incredible pancakes. I pluses up my pancakes with Nutella and bananas for $1.99 and that was well worth it! The service was great and friendly . Fast efficient team service model that worked perfectly. Our food was delivered hot and our coffee cups were never empty.

I always appreciate a restaurant that supports local suppliers that focus on farm to table values. I have to say the smell of the kitchen is reminiscent of when I use to work at a organic grocery/butcher shop who also had similar values. Excellent presentation and taste, you can tell there was love put into the dishes. My only critique would be to salt the potatoes more. would highly reccomend this place to anyone. Is definitely a great brunch joint. Will come back again to try other dishes! Food - 4.5/5 Service - 4/5 (another critique would be to wait until the table asks for the bill before bringing it, or ask if they would like anything else or just the bill. But all in all very friendly and warm service) Atmosphere - 4/5

Great food, but the service will make you feel like you're a burden…read more I tried the Pork Belly Benny and Barbacoa Skillet, with a slight preference for the latter as the Benny was a tad too sweet from the cornbread. Both dishes were interesting and inventive, though. Unfortunately, the server wasn't great. She felt very cold throughout. She handed me a water with a speck of what seemed to be fibres from a sponge (see pic) - no big deal but rather than act on my request for a new water, she took her time, even making a couple trips to neighbouring tables to clean them. And after asking for a box to pack our extra food, she literally just walked away without saying anything - at least she ended up bringing a box, I guess?
