Go taste crème brûlée in any European country and you'll know this is not a crème brûlée. And there was no dessert on the menu that was just like a simple chocolate lava cake with a good vanilla ice cream. Why not include a crowd pleaser like chocolate SOMETHING?? Which is not hard to do. I could make a more delicious dessert at home. So if this place just hires a fairly good pastry chef right now, and a really good chef that makes some interesting updated artisanal dishes with fresh seasonal ingredients, this could be the fine dining, five star restaurant that I think it was always aiming to be.
