Thank God I discovered it however the men they sent had already taken my kitchen cabinets down. I felt that I had no choice. They reimbursed me about 700 dollars and threw in the borders above the cabinets. The men they sent were hustlers who insisted on the job because the original man had "too much work". Before they left they stole a paint cloth from my garage, which actually belonged to someone else. I went with this company because a neighbor used them and was supposedly satisfied. They evidently were not offering real wood at this time. The youg lady who serviced me didn't have the courtesy to come and evaluate the situation. I felt ripped off.

I came out of our Kitchen and Bath remodel feeling like I had made friends with the contractors who worked on my home. Kevin is an excellent project manager and I very much appreciated all of his and his contractors attention to detail and workmanship. Staff would not return calls or provide estimates as promised, requiring my having to initiate following up with staff on 5-6 occasions when they did not act congruent to their word. My floor was installed and it revealed knots and colors not depicted in the sample; I again had to pursue follow up weeks later to only be told the manufacturer determined that I should somehow have anticipated these knots and colors to exist in spite of the sample not even indicating in writing these potential variations and staff not educating me to this point. The contracted staff who actually installed the flooring itself were professional, thoughtful, considerate, and hardworking. They did a wonderful job on the floor itself. However, the floor is not consistent with my expectations and, even worse, main business staff fails to communicate in a timely way to resolve outstanding issues (such as needing to re-install a small molding piece that has been outstanding for nearly two months now). While I empathize that the business may be experiencing staffing limitations and transitions, the lack of communication and action turned an otherwise joyous renovation into a stressful and disappointing experience. I will not personally use this company for future renovations, which is disappointing.

After dealing with an…read moreindependent contractor for a few weeks and being disregarded, we decided to find a remodel specialist that had an actual storefront. We did a little research and found DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen. A great decision. If you're looking for quality, versatility, reliability and professionalism, they are a perfect choice. We looked at multiple designs on a computer and were immediately able to pick materials and options from their showroom displays. They were no pressure but up front and honest about cost, time frame and what they would and wouldn't do. (They won't do cheap.) I have always been very wary of contractors and their "promises". Dream Maker kept to their word in every phase of the project. Every person who worked on our kitchen is employed directly by Dream Maker and they were courteous, professional and timely at all times. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen and highly recommend Dream Maker. They put in new cabinets, new flooring, new countertop, new sink and worked around and re-installed our appliances. Everything was done to our delight. We have been using the finished kitchen for over two months. A couple of small issues that emerged have been resolved at our convenience. Finally, I would repeat what I was always told growing up: You get what you pay for. Dream Maker is probably not the cheapest, but they are worth the cost.
