The workout was great, and the staff was very friendly. While the music and lighting could be more relaxing, it's still a great place to break a sweat. Bring your own mat. For my alternative peers, the vibe leans toward a polished crowd with Stanley cups and sleek slim appearances. Everyone was cheerful to each other, though cliques were noticeable. read more

This is for their Karma program- They singled me out for no reason and canceled my membership abruptly that I have paid for and have almost three weeks left did not offer to refund . i've been a loyal member here for almost two years. Feels very mean girl-esque the people running the studio. Saddened by this and have never experienced treatment like this at my "yoga home" before. Also most of the instructors are lovely however again there's a chance you will unknowingly rub someone the wrong way and they will treat you differently even when you are friendly and make an effort to be positive and kind towards them. Again- some mean-girl clique vibes happening here. read more

Visiting Bend and wanted to do a yoga class with my wife and daughter. My daughter works in a studio where we live, and always feel comfortable as a beginner. We planned horribly (as out of towners) and came to class 3 minutes prior to start. The young lady at the desk, got us set up in record time, with a smile, and made us feel like real guests to their city. The instructor made room for us in a very very crowded class and made me (the beginner) feel as comfortable as the expert locals that were there. True professionals as they could have shown disrespect to the tourists who showed up late. Very grateful for their generous spirit. Class was awesome and mats, towels, and lockers were clean. Beautiful studio, very nice people. I have been doing bikram and different styles of hot yoga for 15 years and had Michael as our teacher. I brought my 2 friends who tried Bikram for their first time.. wasn't impressed for a beginner or class or just a regular Bikram class unfortunately. Michael barely instructed the step by step process to get into poses.. my friends had no idea what they were doing except to watch me in front of them. Michael wasn't observing the class at all.. many people around me didn't have their body mechanics down or even in a pose that was offered to hold to work their way up to the pose. This is a HUGE part of teaching yoga in general... especially Bikram so the benefits are more transparent. Another thing was Michael would start talking about very weird things off topic during poses.. just awkward energy all around. Maybe will try another teacher ?? read more

Bright studio with natural light -- Marz was absolutely lovely. I'd highly recommend a class with her. However, the owner of the studio was incredibly rude and condescending during check in, which feels completely at odds with the ethos of a yoga studio. Having tried yoga classes in multiple cities and studios, I'm shocked by how unpleasant his attitude was & frankly it ruined the vibe of the class. read more

Bend hot yoga is amazing. The new facility is spacious, clean and such a beautiful view (from what I understand they moved locations). The staff is highly educated and so helpful. They are so attentive to the individual needs of their students. I had a back injury and Lauren sat with me after class to discuss ways in which I could work on healing and I'm already feeling so much better. The owner is so lovely and constantly checking in on how to improve and so kindly open to feedback. They really value community and closeness as every instructor knows my name and is so lovely to me when I walk in and out even though I am super awkward. This studio also values inclusivity. They have scholarship programs and work exchange programs which were easily accessible for me to consider when I didn't have a stable income. This studio has improved my practice SO MUCH in just a short amount of time because of the their amazing teachers who commit their classes not only to physical health but mental and spiritual as well. I've considered moving from Bend for work but can't do it because I am too attached to this place. I just love bend hot yoga! read more

Bend has needed a studio like this. They recently moved to a new location that is gorgeous - very clean, kinda modern but still comfortable. They have more than just traditional Bikram yoga classes as well. The Inferno Hot Pilates is so fun and their Vinyasa, Hot Hatha (honestly all of them) classes are great. All of the teachers truly care about their classes - you can feel that from each of them. This studio has a sense of community that is welcoming and inspiring. I'm so grateful they are in our big little city! read more

This place is AWESOME! I came through town and wanted to find the local Bikram studio and man what a fantastic studio it is. First off, the location is really cool. The studio sits down in near the Bend River right next to this really unique bike shop. Secondly, when I showed up I was greeted by this really wonderful woman, Kathy, who ended up being my teacher. She was easily one of the best teachers that I have ever had. Kathy had great direction, great energy, and taught a tough, but compassionate, 90 min class. I love Bikram studios, and I have been to a lot of them, but there is something really special about Bikram Bend. I really love it there and I cannot wait to come back. read more

Bikram yoga bend is a good studio to check out if you are just a newbie or a veteran yogi. They are a college of India studio, so you can be sure you are actually practicing Bikram. The facility itself is on par with studios in other towns. The students seem to be remarkably good at Bikram, which can be a bit intimidating for new comers. The teachers are very nice and welcoming. If you tell them you're new they will go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable. Additionally, they have a pretty good class schedule, including one at 6:30pm. This makes it easy to practice even if you work full time! read more

I've travelled all Over the world attending Bikram classes and this is my favorite of them all by far. The teachers are very kind and the studio is amazing. It's right near the river so you can jump in after class. I highly Recommend this spot. read more

Love Bikram! The owner and all the instructors are so friendly and helpful! The classes are long, and I love the scheduled class times. Only qualm is how expensive it is. I mean, it's REALLY pricey. I firmly believe that there is no price tag on health, but with so many other yoga studios (some even offering hot yoga) that offer great drop in pricing and low monthly memberships, I just hope they see that people on a budget love Bikram too :) read more

ouuu baby this place deserves five stars. The owner and staff are super nice and accommodating. I signed up for a month a while back and only made it to one class, they super hooked me up and re up'd my intro for two weeks. I even left my shorts in my friend Gina's car one evening and they lent me some. It does not smell any worse than most hot yoga studios I've been to, in fact it smells better than some. They've got towels and mats to use, no charge. Super props for that. If you're looking to sweat iut some toxins and get your stretch on while connecting with the divine, I'd recommend this studio time and time again. Happy Yogi-ing read more

Been a few times. I can't get over the smell of toe-jam. I don't know if it's the carpet from all the hot yoga classes? I about fell backwards when I walked in there. I think I'm going to have to wear one of those surgical masks people wear on planes. The zen got to my nose earlier that expected. There are other studios in Bend that smell so much more decent. The classes are good almost too much stretching and not enough flows. They really need to air that place out or put in some wood floors I think the carpet is absorbing the sweat ? Needs some incense for me to bare another class. The teaches are nice. read more

I tried "intro month" for a week and I don't think I'll be coming back. I liked the classes and this is my honest opinion. It gets very smelly in some classes with many people. I tried different studios where they had air purifying systems which made the rooms smell great. Another weird thing happen when one of the teachers told me not to use towel to hold my feet for the posture which didn't make any sense to me. Instead I was told to try and squeeze my feet with my hand in order to hold it or "wipe my lotion off". I have a plate in my arm and it's already hard as it is to do a lot of postures so I find ways to change postures in ways that wouldn't hurt my arm or use a towel so I don't have to hurt it by trying to hold on to my foot. I believe that everyone should feel comfortable in yoga classes and don't push their limits so they can satisfy the instructor. The instructors should ask the reasons why and not ambush with proper ways that student must do yoga. It's very discouraging and rude. read more

A Big Shout Out to Bikram Yoga Bend! I would highly recommend giving this practice a trial. I consider the per class pricing on par with other yoga in Bend ($8.25 a class 3x/wk, $6.20 a class 4x/wk). It had me hooked because I immediately felt the benefits as an endurance runner and skate skier. I've been back-pain free, it's helped reduce and treat flare-ups with sciatica and just feel better overall. The owner is present with a big smile, it's a friendly welcoming environment. The instructors are supportive of folks at all stages of their practice, I seem to take the time of class frequently instructed by Eva or Susie - excellent. They offer a lot of class times. The students are all ages, all abilities. The facility is clean and comfortable. Give it a go! read more

The smell of dirty wet sweaty carpeting is overwhelming. The instructors are not helpful in anyway if you have any injuries or deformities. The bathroom is run with drill sergeant precision, you can not spend more than 2 minutes in the shower or people start yelling at you. bad Karma in this place. read more

Fantastic studio! They have amazing teachers and that's a mere reflection of the great owner/director. If you've never tried this spot, I would highly recommend checking it out. They have a great starter pass, which will allow you see whether or not it's for you, along with Friday night classes by donation. I've been to several other studios along the west coast now, and my hometown spot is definitely the nicest spot, best vibes, great facilities, and all around good times. Go get your sweat on. I'm amazed at friends who say they "hate" Bikram yoga but practice other forms of yoga instead. The heat, especially if you've only done the class a few times, can turn anyone off at first. What they don't understand is that the dizzy feeling is normal, and you get weaned in to it the more you go. I'm a runner, and I can't tell you enough how awesome Bikram has been for my knees and my endurance. I suffer from knee issues and the practice of Bikram yoga has cured my injuries and made me stronger. The Bikram Yoga Studio in Bend on Industrial Way is awesome. They are very serious about the correct practice and are very welcoming to newcomers. They adhere to the strict guidelines of Bikram's teachings which is so important since Bikram, after many years of research, developed the 26 postures which are all done in a precise order to enhance the progressive practice of the yoga for maximum benefit to the body. The classes are very popular and if there was one thing I would change, it would be to make the classroom bigger since it can sometimes get crowded in the studio. I also wish some people would be (at times, not always a problem) more conscious of their body odor and the close proximity that others have to be to them. No lie, it is not an easy workout by any means but the benefits are buckets full and the feeling in your body is amazing. After a while you feel like you've been to a spa and detoxed yourself with good exercise, massage and rest. Joint and weight issues also quickly become a thing of the past. A big misconception is that the weight loss is just water loss. Not true at all. Try it and stick with it for at least a few months before you decide to throw in the sweaty towel. Namaste. read more
