We chose outdoor seating under the covered patio of what had several decades ago been exactly what the name exactly declares ... a filling station of petrol and general automobile servies. This fillin' station has a corner location which also makes is ultra suitable for people and traffic watching. Ordered lunch and drinks, watched the late morning traffic and visisted. A good meal was consumed - hamburgers, onions rings and sweet potato fries along with soda and unsweet tea (this is Texas, no sweetener needed). Clean functional restrooms, pleasant service, settled the bill table side. Parking can be trickey as we were in the old downtown area, but was reasonable.
