I broke a tooth on vacation and had not established care with a Bend dentist yet. I called and was greeted with such friendliness and they got me in two days later. It was x-rayed and Dr. Stahhr smoothed my tooth and made sure there was no nerve damage. I was in only a few short days later for a crown and she filled another tooth since I was numb already. She was gentle and kept me informed of every step. Everyone was so friendly, this was possibly the best overall dental experience I've ever had. Dr Stahrr is fantastic. I recently had to cap my two front teeth. It wasn't easy because we had trouble getting the color to match my other teeth and another tooth in the front of my mouth had an odd striation across it. She was professional and patient. I felt she did what was necessary to make sure the results looked good while explaining the process. I appreciate the effort by her and her staff and the final results were excellent. I never write reviews, but feel impassioned to warn people about the Bend Dental Group. I typically dislike the dentist because of the nonsense costs of insurance and how they try to up-sell you over the fear of the whiteness of your teeth. Unfortunately, the Bend Dental Group is no exception. I was careful to ask whether or not my insurance worked in their network, and they spun misleading statements about how they can "bill our insurance" to get my business. They use the latest (unnecessary) technology so they can charge more than then should, so you still wind up with a bill even after insurance. The service was mediocre at best and I hope that you do not fall into the same trap that I have! I would seek a more honest and reputable dentist in town, as there are several. These jokers literally tried to charge my co-worker $3,000 to get some fillings done rather than being up front and saying we can not work with your insurance. Trying to take advantage of unsuspecting people like this is exactly why I distrust the dentist, and will not recommend their services in the future. read more

Love this place. Very professional and competent staff. I especially love the up to date technology like the 3-D printer that can make crowns in house, on the spot, saving an inordinate amount of time and ultimately cost for patients. While I'm often leery of doctor's offices equipping with the latest gadgets (and us paying for them!), this is the future of dentistry and I like my clinic to know this and be competent using it. read more

Amazing dental practice. Everyone there was friendly and kind. We have some issues with dental anxiety in our family, and they all went out of their way to care for us and make the experience better. Added bonus, they didn't hurt me even once when cleaning my teeth or checking my gums. Some places seem to want to stab you during that part of the exam, and they didn't. They also didn't try to get me to do any unnecessary procedures. Comfortable waiting room, though I never got to spend much time there. read more

I can honestly say that I like my dentist, and that's because I go to Dr. Stahrr at Bend Dental Group. Dr. Stahrr and the entire staff are terrific! They're friendly, professional, and use the latest technology. I just finished having Invisalign treatment with Dr. Stahrr, and I'm so happy with how my teeth turned out! My teeth had gotten very crooked after having braces decades ago. The braces were a terrible experience, but doing Invisalign with Dr. Stahrr at Bend Dental Group was actually easy and pleasant. I'd like to express my gratitude to Bend Dental, Dr. Stahrr and Danette for their outstanding care during a recent visit for immediate tooth extraction. I was in an emergency, and they treated it as such while far exceeding my expectations. I noticed immediately as the procedure began that Dr. Stahrr was highly skilled. She worked quickly and deliberately, and it was clear at all times that she was in complete control. This alone was enough to make me feel better, as I was in pain and just wanted to get it over with. But beyond that, it was the display of compassion on the part of Dr. Stahrr and Danette that made me feel obliged to write this. It was their genuine concern and treatment of the situation that will stand out in my mind, most likely forever. This experience came at the end of a long, painful weekend, and after I had already sought help by my assigned OHP dentist - and was turned away. I was at my wits end, and in hindsight, I can think of no better luck I could have had in that situation. These two are absolutely phenomenal at what they do. read more

Front office staff, dental assistants and Dr. Stahrr were all simply wonderful! They got us in when we needed to be seen and the quality of the work was wonderful. They have all the very latest high tech goodies that make a visit to the dentist a pleasure. So why the "Meh"? Because of the bookkeeping. We have insurance and have never experienced anything like what took place here. Even a member of the front office was disgusted with the person doing the books/insurance and expressed that to us. To make this simple, we were overcharged twice, asked for a refund check, asked again and asked again. Finally my husband just waited in the office until they printed it. It didn't end there, as they still owe us money. We'll be finding a different dentist, which is unfortunate, when THEY need to find a different bookkeeper. read more

I used to have a fear of going to the Dentist because of other doctors. Bend Dental Group is the best! Zero pain and zero issues. My wife, me and kids have have gone there for 10 years now. I have had fillings and a couple crowns done. Crowns are a total of just a couple hours and you are all done and leave with a perfect crown.. pain free. With my dozens of visits over the years I tell all my friends about these folks. Any poor reviews on YELP have to be FAKE!! My entire life I have had shorter looking top teeth. I always wondered why I showed so much gum tissue, and not enough tooth. I hated smiling, or seeing pictures of my teeth, even after I went through ortho. After a consult with Dr.Stahrr, she informed me about crown lengthening, and making the appearance of my actual teeth look bigger like I have always wanted! I had no idea this was an option my entire life. No dentist I have ever seen has mentioned this option when I brought it up. A couple weeks later I went through the procedure with Dr.Stahrr, and the outcome was amazing!! The entire procedure was such a comfortable, painless experience for me as well. The assistant (Julie) and a few other assistants and staff greeted me with a blanket, pillow and a protein shake to make my experience as great as they could. The following day I was expecting to be sore, BUT I experienced no pain, or serious discomfort at all. I highly recommend Dr.Starrh to anyone who is looking to change the appearance of their teeth! AMAZING! I just had my first cleaning at Bend Dental Group and from start to finish it was a great experience. The entire office welcomes you with a friendly hello as you enter. I first visited with Dr. Schultze for my exam and x-rays and had a great experience with him. I then saw Annie, one of their hygienists, who was flat out incredible. Best cleaning I've ever had! She was very friendly and informed me of everything she was doing throughout the appointment, and made me very welcome and comfortable. I loved everything about my visit and has easily been the best experience I've ever had at at Dental office. An ok clinic but way too expensive. Their crown fee is $300.00 more expensive than East bend or Redmond. Imagine a $9,000.00 for Focus automobile that costs $12,000.00 in bend. Unnecessary and it lowers my trust in dental offices. read more
