Beware dealing with salesman AJ in N.E. Mall. My wife anniversary 4CT Cushion diamond fell out of the ring after 4 months from purchase date..AJ is very brilliant at selling and leaving out details to close a deal.His target is your HOME OWNER INSURANCE POLICY!!. Benchmark DOES NOT COVER CENTER STONES,all though there booklet said it's covered and AJ will tell you lifetime warranty lie but for only small diamonds circling the center..He had our ring modified ($2700 mounting) with someone he somehow no longer use now do to defects, then my wife diamond just slips out.He claims it was pressure.His solution was to apply another $9500 ring to our account and claim it on our Home Owner Insurance, when he told us Benchmark has a lifetime warranty. Please have your antennas ready when he target your HOME OWNER INSURANCE POLICY. While inside trying to resolve the issue, a gentleman entered the store with a Rolex Watch with a defective band that could have possibly slipped off his wrist. We went into Benchmark hoping this was a legit Jewelry in purchasing Bridal set. We request natural diamond and not Lab diamond. We were also told we had 60 days or 90 days to return ring if not happy with you. However we took the ring for appraisal. We were told the ring were Lab diamond. We were totally surprised and upset being lied too. When attempt to return we were told we could only get credit no refund. Do not trust this establishment. read more

Worst customer service and products I have ever seen. They say you can return any purchase for a full refund if you are not happy within 14 days. Read the small print they have a "loophole" that says if they give you a discount off the MSRP it can't be returned. They don't tell you that until to try and return it. The problem is no one pays MSRP and Benchmark offers a MSRP discount on all of their overpriced Watches and diamonds. They even tried to pawn off a diamond that had cracks filled with glass as flawless. Fool me once, but never twice! Hazzah! read more

These guys are a joke. Don't try and purchase any of their pre-owned Rolex's. The one that they tried to sell me was more than what you could purchase a new one for. EXACT SAME MODEL!! I know this because I have been shopping brand new Rolex's. When i called the GM out on it, he came up with the excuse that most people pay premiums for Rolex's in the store. Not true!! They do for certain models but not this one. Not to make accusations but he also told me since they underwrite the financing they are allowed to charge more. While I don't know if they underwrite the financing or not, I do know that you are not allowed to charge someone something more because they are financing. This is deceptive if they are not the underwriter for the loan and the fact that the GM is the one that mentioned this to me, he should be fired. Listen, I have no problem with them trying to sell this Rolex more than what a new one was worth. If someone will pay for it, do it. But don't lie and tell me something that you just randomly put together because you are embarrassed and can't come up with a good excuse. This review is for the northeast mall location. read more

The Benchmark salesman told me that I was getting a $10,000 diamond for $5,500.00. He even gave me an appraisal certificate for the $10,000. After about 6 months I noticed that a small line starting to appear. I thought it was just dirt and took it to another jeweler to get it cleaned and they did a free appraisal on it also. They said that it was a CE diamond and the value was around $3,500. I told them that I was told it was $10,000. He said it would be if it was not a CE diamond. Asked what that was and he said that it had cracks that were filled in with glass and the glass was separating from the diamond because of age. I pulled out my original documents and sure enough in small print was a "CE". I was not happy out being mislead. I spoke to the salesman and he said that almost all their diamonds are CE. He said I should have known that I can't get a $10,000 for $5,500. I wouldn't trust Brenchmark with a gumball ring. They lie and say anything to get a sale and then write you off as a customer. Stay clear or you will end up with a diamond that is worthless after a few months. read more
