I was greeted right away. The young lady at the counter was nice, she was patient, and she answered all my questions. The store is a vibe. There are beautiful flowers and decor, and it's pretty and clean inside. There's a table inside, but it's not much space to eat there. So it's more of a pickup type of bakery. They had several different flavors of cupcakes in the display which all looked tasty!! They also sell custom cakes and other baked goods. I grabbed my cupcakes but I was taking pics for my review. So as I'm taking pics, I'm smiling and minding my business. A lady walks in and you can tell she was in a bit of a mood. She started talking to the girl behind the counter in a rude tone. So I went on taking my pics, and the counter where the register was, had several boxes, so I sat my cake box down on this little cart that had toppings. I thought it was too cute not to get a pic of. All of a sudden I hear the same tone say "please don't sit anything there"! I wasn't aware she was talking to me at first so, she said ma'am and I turned around. She told me no, don't put anything on that, we take that to shows or for catering. She said it could get scratched up or dinged. I apologized and moved the box. She was still talking. So I said ok. I mentioned there wasn't a sign up or anything to alert me that it was a problem. But I wasn't being rude or weird. I mean it literally was a small dessert box. When we both walked outside I told her I wasn't trying to be rude, I just wasn't fond of how she was speaking to me and thought the sign would help avoid conflicts in the future. She obviously didn't want to talk about it, so she said we never needed a sign because no one has ever done that before!! As if I'd broken some unspoken law. Lol. By this time I was confused as to what I did that was so wrong, I even had to giggle because this small situation didn't warrant her being snappy. I tried to give her grace because I don't know what kind of day she was having. But I'm assuming she's the owner at this point. She should definitely get her tone in check, because customers can pick up on your nice nasty approach. I thought this was going to be a good experience, but it left me confused and a little disappointed. The whole vibe was light and airy before she walked in. As for the cupcakes they were not what I expected. I got a mystery box so it was a mix of cupcakes they pick out that are leftovers from the previous day. But these had to have been from several days ago because each and every one was hard, none were moist. Very heavy cupcakes. There was carrot cake, I think a maple one, lemon blueberry, and chocolate. I noticed the carrot cake one had the after taste of raw flour.. . The chocolate one and the lemon blueberry tasted the best out of all of them, but each one of them had to much extract, except the chocolate one. I'm not just saying this because of the encounter we had. I don't hold grudges, this is an honest reaction. I had been excited to try this place because I have a sweet tooth. Maybe the fresher cupcakes taste better, so I'll give them that. But these weren't good to me. As you can see from the pictures, the birthday cake and "smash" cake are absolute works of art. Our requests along with the artist's input ("baker" seems inadequate and probably inaccurate...) resulted in visually stunning, whimsical and an utterly ideal end product for the precious one year old baby girl guest of honor! But the accolades do not end with the visuals. I am grateful for the expertise and guidance received as I ordered for our party. I could not have asked for a better outcome. The actual cake was flavorful and tender. Even with the cakes still chilly from overnight refrigeration, the texture was light and moist - rich in taste with so many rave reviews from our guests. Since nana got to keep the leftover smash cake remains, picking through the baby's carnage has absolutely been worth the effort. If there is a "negative" it would probably be along the line of costs but given the nature of government imposed exorbitant taxes, there isn't much we can do about that. The first time I ordered any custom cakes elsewhere, the smash cake was a courtesy and provided at no charge. With that said, there absolutely is no comparison in end-products. We received two unique, beautifully crafted delicious cakes. And given how many years it has been since venturing in to the world of custom cakes, the price seems commensurate with inflation and nearby comparisons. So, I think this whole venture proves you do "get what you pay for" and you will find only praise for Custom Cake Cakery.

I wanted each cupcake decorated to the max, like little cakes. I had trouble finding a baker that would do that, and Incredible Edibles did it without question. The cupcakes were perfect and just lovely. The cake itself was done in almond chiffon and it had white chocolate mousse and raspberry filling. Topped with buttercream almond flavored frosting. It was amazing. Cupcakes were the same and also were filled just amazing! Would use this bakery again in a heartbeat! The problems we ran into: we had to rent the actual tiered cake stand for the cake and cupcakes. I thought this was kind of silly, I don't know if it's commonplace? The cake and cupcakes were very pricey, it really should have been factored in that the cake stand was a necessity and came with the order. It was $55 to rent cake stand, unless I could provide my own. I just thought this was crazy. Additionally, I was responsible for returning the cake stand to the bakery after it's used. I paid to have the cake delivered, it seems that picking the cake stand back up would've been a no-brainer but I don't know. Also, I requested paper lace wraps for the cupcakes and they were not available. These wraps are used all of the time and are even featured on their website. This would've been a simple fix. They could've ordered from Amazon for a few dollars and fulfilled my request, but instead I had to get the wraps and bring them to the bakery. I thought this was kind of a bad customer service issue. Also, there was some confusion in communicating exactly what I wanted. I never did speak to the decorator of the cake. Only a receptionist. I did not want white flowers on my cupcakes. I asked for pink, yellow, and a brighter pink. They came pink, white and yellow. They were gorgeous so it's OK now but it's not really what I wanted and I'm not surprised. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone physically to the bakery, met with the decorator and communicated my ideas on paper. These issues may sound petty, but for the price I paid I should've gotten exactly what I wanted, perfectly and had to do no running around for it. They're also difficult to reach and have very limited office hours. Bringing the lace cupcake wraps and stand to them was complicated by their availability. Just be prepared/aware. There are few bakeries that will do this kind of outstanding cake/cupcake, you'll be very pleased! Price: 70.ish for 3 layer, filled 6" cake, 54. per doz cupcakes + 55. stand rental and 55. delivery=342.ish for really small cake and 36 cupcakes all filled with white chocolate mousse/raspberry. Individually decorated cupcakes. If they'd nailed the cupcake colors and included wraps and stand, I'd absolutely say 5 stars.

I would have preferred they said a later time and were able to make the piping look as neat as possible. This being said I'm still impressed and grateful they made the cake on such short notice. I also requested pastel colored filling and it was very dark. Unfortunately I did not love the taste of the cake and couldn't not eat more than a few bites. The vanilla icing was overly sweet.
