After waiting 30 + minutes we all left frustrated, unhappy, and dissatisfied with our ice cream. :(

This is a different style of ice cream- it's very rich, and thick, and doesn't taste quite like any other ice cream I've had. The ice cream is extremely flavorful - the black raspberry really tastes like black raspberries, the coffee ice cream really tastes like coffee - and it's delicious. If you're an ice cream fan, you have to try this place out. The main thing is that you'll know you won't be getting ice cream from a frozen bin from a distributor; you can tell they make their own.

York is a tourist destination in the summer , everyone loved this place. All the workers here are very friendly. Lots of flavors . I love the butter crunch and my son always gets Oreo coffee. We just picked up a beautiful ice cream cake with Oreo middle. They often have fundraisers for some of our sports teams and various organizations in York. I really feel good coming in and seeing smiling people behind the counters. You should try it if you are in the area.

Their offerings aren't as big as other ice cream shops in the area, but they are of decent quality. I came here primarily because a short time earlier, I ate at "The Crab Shack" around the block and over a small bridge in Kennebunk. They provided me with a "buy one single scoop cone, get one free". So being the frugal foodie I am, decided to capitalize on the 2 for 1 deal. Not sure if it's worth paying full price for.....but the "deal" certainly made it palatable. Everything in the area is overpriced because it's an extremely touristy area that relies heavily on summer business. But the young gentleman behind the counter was very pleasant and a hard worker, so I recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and in mood for some ice cream.
