I honestly thought my season might be over. Then I started working with Dr. Carrion. From the first visit, he really listened and took my injury seriously. Over the next couple of months, we worked hard together--adjustments, recovery sessions, different treatments--everything I needed to get better. He was super consistent, always made sure I was improving, and pushed me just the right amount. Thanks to Dr. Carrion, not only did I come back--I finished the season strong. I helped my team win the conference and was even named MVP of the entire region. None of that would've been possible without his help. He didn't just fix my back. He helped bring me back to my full self as an athlete. I'm beyond thankful.

When I called the receptionist told me that I first had to call a company called EpicHearing in order to link my insurance benefits. I called and the person explained what my benefits were. So far so good. The morning of the exam I arrived at the office and the first thing they ask me is "do you have the note from your doctor saying you are medically cleared for a hearing device?" WHAT NOTE????? No one told me a thing about a note. The examination was fine and the results were not surprising. I needed a hearing aid. I was hoping to have before I left on vacation and figured this would be a quick process. As soon as I got home I called my doctor and the receptionist said the doctor wants to see a copy of the audiology report. Fine, I called the office and they faxed the report over to the doctor. The HearingUSA receptionist even called the doctor and explained what they needed. Again, minor delay but nothing big. Two days later I called the Hearing USA office and they still had not gotten the note. I called my doctor's office and they told that the note was faxed that morning. I called the HearingUSA office back and they told me that they were having some sort of difficulty with their fax system. Why didn't they tell me this when I called the first time? So now I drive to my doctor's office, pick up the note, and hand-bring it to the HearingUSA office. The receptionist looks at it and says she will get over to EpicHearing immediately. Later that afternoon I decided to call EpicHearing to verify that they got it. They had it but it was not acceptable because it wasn't on a prescription script. Once again, no one told either me, or my doctor's office, that it had to be on a prescription script. The doctor's office sent what they were told by me, from what I understood, and the HearingUSA office when they called. So now, once again, I drive to my doctor's office to pick up the script and hand-deliver it back to HearingUSA. Once again the receptionist looks at it and says all is fine. Later, I decided to once again call EpicHearing and now they tell me the script was unacceptable because it said "Hearing Aid. Medically cleared for hearing amplification" instead of "Medically cleared for a hearing aid." WHAT DOES A HEARING AID DO?????? They now had a note AND a script from the doctor saying it was fine for me to have a hearing aid. At that point, I gave up and told all to just forget the whole thing. I haven't got the time to deal with this nonsense. I could order something like HearingAssist for a fraction of the price and none of these headaches. You would think that I was asking them for illegal drugs. It is a hearing aid that, today, can be purchased easily online. I also did some research on the Signia hearing aid that was recommended. It had, at best, mixed reviews and the accompanying smartphone app had terrible reviews. I refuse to bother my doctor any longer with this nonsense and I no longer have the time to go running back and forth with incomplete information only to be told that it isn't enough or in proper form.

They forgot to conduct tests and lab exams and when I pointed it out they made me come again and ordered another lab exam. First they said that it was their error and I would not have to pay anything extra but when I had two lab bills they ignored me and refused to reimburse me. It was frustrating and I will never go here again and do not recommend this office.

AVOID at all costs!…read more The first warning sign should've been that I was able to get a same hour appointment. The second warning sign should've been that the front entry to the building was in disrepair and I fell and injured my knee. The final straw SHOULD'VE been when a process server was attempting to serve the doctor while I sat in an empty waiting room -- but I was desperate. I went to Anna Lavotshkin's offices for a simple ailment in November of 2014. All I needed was a quick antibiotic and to be sent on my way. My GP couldn't accommodate me in a pinch so I got stuck going here. Right off the bat, Anna Lavotshkin was pushing to give me a physical. Ummmm no. I told her I had a GP and had had a recent physical, but he couldn't accommodate me. Luckily, after an uncomfortable conversation I was ready to get out of there. The worst of this was related to billing. I did not receive a bill for her services until MONTHS after the fact. (7 or 8 months, for the record) They do not accept cards at all, so I cut a check for the balance IN FULL through my bank account online and had it mailed to their offices. The check was cashed by her immediately. A few weeks later, I received a bill in the mail again. I called the office and they had no record of the check - they asked me to provide a copy of it. So while my statement is showing that the check cleared, I now have to pay a $10 to send them a copy of the cashed check. What a joke.
