I happen to be a professor of management and always trying to instill in my graduate and undergraduate students a sense of caring and human touch. Deborah supplied all that and then some. Her true professionalism exuded in handling the tests that she conducted, as well the informative session that ensued. She discussed all the appropriate hearing instruments, their pros and cons, technical specifications, and cost structures. They neglected to submit to my health insurer the claim for my hearing aid reimbursement for more than three months. It's not a trivial sum of money; the reimbursement my health insurer offers is worth thousands of dollars. I spoke to the office a week ago and was promised that I would hear from the office manager, Anna, that day. I never did. Ever since day my calls have been diverted to the answering service. I asked the service to let Dr. Aretsky know that I have to speak to him urgently, but have heard nothing from anybody. My insurance company tells me that the time for processing my claim expires soon, so I may lose the reimbursement which I am entitled to, and which the Hearing Center assured me before I ordered the hearing aid that I would get. It looks like the only avenue open to me now is an office visit and a scene there.
