They typically have deals before winter starts for furnace checks/tuneups. Recently we noticed that our central air conditioning unit was making a bit of a weird noise and didn't seem like it was blowing at full capacity, so we gave them a call. I was expecting a long wait for an appointment, since the temperatures were supposed to be in the 90s that week. To my surprise, they said they could send someone out that morning within a few hours! The technician showed up well within the timeframe and did a quick assessment inside to figure out it wasn't the thermostat, then went outside and told us the issue - apparently earwigs can get into the AC unit and prevent the voltage to pass through to fully power the unit (or something... basically, earwigs ruin everything). He cleaned it off and made sure everything else was in working order, and that was it. I was expecting it to cost $200+ but it was only $80, phew! We will definitely continue to enlist the help of Jacobson's in the future (we're already talking about getting the furnace checked well before winter).

I have that service scheduled with a provider who I have researched to be the best in the area. I had Service Professor scheduled to come and look at this same issue too. Now with full certainty of what the problem is decided to use another provider. These guys quoted me $20 to come snake my drain. I'm like, wtf are you talking about this is so cheap. I politely asked them to cancel my appointment for tomorrow and scheduled an immediate sewer unplug for $20. Landyn shows up. Nice enough guy. I explain to him that I intend to use someone else to do the descaling of my sewer drain and that I would pay more for the service he is providing today. Went to his truck and called someone. Came back to my house and said that he decided to decline the service. Dawg. I would have paid you $300 to do it. LOL why are you out here charging dirt prices for something? I was completely up front with my intentions. Told you the whole time what I wanted. I have someone coming to do the job for $300. Which is CHEAP. Idk what kind of business model you all have. From start to finish the process was wonderful…read more Todd came out within hours of calling to get a quote to upgrade our furnace and add AC to our home. Our furnace was over 20 years old functioning but a bit of a head scratcher. Additionally we needed to upgrade our electrical panel. Grapids was able to subcontract that for us too. Tyler and Eric came out the very next day (bright and early) and spent the day reconstruction our HVAC system. Prior to their arrival we decided to add a humidifier to the unit. The office was seemlessly able to add that to our work order. Todd swang back out to check in on the progress and make sure we were happy. Throughout the day several members of Grapid came through to bring supplies and check in. The stars of the show were definitely Tyler and Eric who worked until after 7pm to complete the HVAC job. They worked well together and I could overhear them as I graded papers upstairs. They treated each other with respect and humor. It was so refreshing to have work done in our home by such wonderful people. They even took the time to FaceTime with my husband who was at work to show the final product and answer all of his questions. Without hesitation I will recommend Grapids (specifically Todd, Tyler and Eric) to anyone! He performed our yearly service on our HVAC system and pointed out things that needed to be changed (filters, tubin,etc) we thought we had a leak in our humid and it was a simple mistake on our part. We didn't have it snapped into its housing properly. We also found out that our Hot water heaters were very outdated and it was a matter of time we would have have a bigger mess on our hands then we would have wanted. we are very grateful that Brandon was honest with us and respected our home and our dog Oliver. I looked on yelp and found Derrick. He was quick to respond to our AC issue. Our unit is 13 years old and thought we'd be spending a lot of money for a new one since it kept tripping the breaker. He diagnosed the problem and found a loose wire and fixed it. He also looked at our other unit and furnace and worked on some issues I was unaware and helped me get them in proper working order. His service fee was very reasonable.
