Belly Bliss Catering went above and beyond to make our team holiday lunch so special! Chef Anna was so tentative and took into consideration our budget and any special requests to make us the perfect meal! She came and set up the buffet herself and brought her own decorations, table cloth, plates, utensils, and anything else we could've needed! We'll definitely be ordering from her again :) read more

Belly Bliss Catering - Caterers Near Me

Just finished up my event with Anna and her staff today for my sister's Baby Shower. I have hosted tons of events in the past and have worked with different caterers over the years, but Belly Bliss Catering felt different. Anna was very communicative and so professional during the entire process. She helped me narrow down a perfect menu for a brunch that wasn't too heavy or too light of a feeling either, the food was just right! Anna listened and paid attention to the details I wanted, to which everything was so beautifully displayed! I was receiving compliments all day saying how good the food was and how it was so aesthetically pleasing. Presentation and attention to detail is key and Anna and the team killed it! She's also just the sweetest person and when we met in person, she hugged me (like what caterer does that!?) she had a warm and comforting energy about her and I look forward to working with her again for future events! Thanks again, Anna! read more

Belly Bliss was the caterer of choice for my daughter's baby shower last Saturday 12/3/2022 Let me just say that she did a great job decorating the table, but that's it. It went down hill from there. The flower arrangement was brought by me, per her request and she worked it into the design. My daughter and son in law requested NO pork, however, this request was not honored, in between the cheese pieces there were a few pieces of ham, but wait it's not all... They ordered lunch for 40 people, increased the number to 45 and paid more than $300 extra for the additional FIVE people which seemed excessive, but nevertheless, my son in law paid it. However, the day of the shower we ended up with only 35 people, but guess what, there wasn't enough main dishes for even 35 people. The two main lunch dishes were turkey spam, and small chicken skewers. and I mean appetizer size small. There were only 30 pieces of spam sandwiches for a 45-people lunch. There were less than 70 mini skewers of chicken each with TWO to THREE small bite-size pieces of chicken. It was supposed to be lunch baby shower from 12-3. I don't know about you but when I go to lunch in a restaurant and order chicken, I would be served either two large pieces of tights, two pieces of breast, or TWO full skewers of chicken. NOT HALF of one skewer. Somehow she got the quantity of the food all wrong. Why would she think that grown people would be ok with two to three bite size chicken is beyond me. I can not tell you if the chicken or Turkey spam tasted any good because I did not eat any, I let the guests eat first. All in all, I was sorry that I didn't pick up the phone and order additional lunch size skewers from another restaurant, but by the time I noticed that there was no additional chicken tray in the kitchen it was too late. This was a really bad experience. ******* This update is after the business owner responded to my review. I appreciate that she is the owner of a small business, I know it tough especially in todays economy. May I just mention the the $400 refund was about 10% of what was paid to her. read more

I paid $4,000 dollars for Belly Bliss Catering to cater my wife's baby shower lunch for 45 people. About 35 showed up yet most of my guests left hungry because Belly Bliss Catering was not upfront with me about the amount of food they were going to bring. Not every guest was allotted enough food to even have one of each main item on the menu. Dietary restrictions we repeatedly discussed were ultimately ignored. At first, I was offered a refund and they wanted to make things right because they admitted their mistakes. My ask was then refused and I was given $400 and a wave of excuses about how this was fair and they deserved what they kept. This experience unfortunately ruined an otherwise perfect event for my wife and I deeply regret that I trusted this company. read more

Anna and the crew at Belly Bliss Catering catered a bridal shower I hosted for my cousin. I am not a seasoned party host and so the event was daunting for me at first. When I spoke to Anna on the phone she immediately put me at ease. Her years of experience and her patience in explaining every detail helped tremendously. The food was incredibly delicious and the presentation was top notch. The service was also 5 star and the crew left our kitchen cleaner than when they found it. I'm not ashamed to say it!  Thank you Belly Bliss Catering! I'll definitely reach out to you ladies again. read more

Guests were impressed by the quality of the food and kept asking for contact information! There is a lot of pride in what they do and they use high quality ingredients. Anna catered a 16 person baby shower for my daughter. It was fabulous! Anna was a complete delight! She was so responsive and helpful leading up to the event. The day of the event she was lovely, calming and totally professional. Most importantly, the food was generous and fantastic! Quiche was delicious. Her roasted potatoes are the best I've ever had. The whole presentation was beautiful. Anna attended to every detail. I will definitely use her again and give her an unqualified recommendation. read more

Knowing I have no clue about hosting a company party, Anna and her team came highly recommended by my business associates down in LA so I had to have her! She came out to San Francisco and ... OH WOW! The amount of compliments I got was totally unexpected but extremely valuable. I just hope she'll be available EVERYTIME from here on out. I run a small business with a lot of high end clientele, the quality of her work that day has given me an "in" which is priceless. Thank you Belly Bliss! read more

WOW!!! Anna AND the team delivered beyond our expectations for the baby shower. Everything from pre event planning, to the food, to decorations and anna was a great support, came with ideas and tips that was very helpful for us with not that much experience in event planning. To stay covid friendly all of our guests got individual bento boxes with chicken, salmon or a crepe that was all cooked at the spot right before the guests arrived so everyone could get a fresh delicious meal and they left the kitchen SPOTLESS!!. Anna has such an amazing warm genuine touch that she puts on everything she does that she didn't just cater an event, she truly helped to create an experience for a lifetime. For that we're beyond grateful that we found Belly Bliss catering on a quick Yelp search because now we will never need to search for another one again for future events. Thank you again Anna and the team!!!!! read more

We initially contracted Anna and her team at Belly Bliss catering for our wedding scheduled for Fall 2020. Unfortunately, COVID had other plans and caused us to reschedule the wedding several times before we finally were able to have our wedding this July 2021. I'll tell you it was definitely worth the wait! Even through several date, guest count, and menu changes, Anna was willing to work with us and come up with a DELICIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL spread of food that our guests couldn't stop talking about at the wedding. Guests kept coming up to my wife and I to tell us this was the best wedding food they've ever had, with many going back 3-4 times for more. Even though we were initially tentative to go with Belly Bliss since we didn't see many weddings she'd done on reviews, we were SOOO happy that we went with them. Anna is epic and will work with you to meet your needs. My wife and I are really grateful for her and all she did to make it a perfect day. read more

Service, food, and professionalism is top notch and definitely worth the price. Highly recommend!

We recently celebrated our daughter's one year birthday and hired Belly Bliss Catering for the event. My wife went with them for a number of reasons but most specifically to support a woman owned business. From the beginning of our interactions they were extremely accommodating. My wife wasn't too keen on one of the ingredients for a hummus dish and they worked with her till she was happy. They were prompt in setting up! They tore down everything very quickly as well. And did an excellent job of setting the spread. All of it was professionally done and they stayed for the whole event. My father was a chef before he retired and hosted many events similar to this. He was thoroughly impressed with the work that they did. Having helped him on some of his events, I understand how hectic and how hard it is to please clients and guests. The menu for the event was perfectly balanced between bites for the little ones and savory dishes for the adults. All of the food was prepared fresh and not a single one of our guests complained. In fact, everyone commented on how delicious all of the food was. In addition, they did an excellent job of estimating the amount of food that was needed for the event so we didn't have an exorbitant amount of left-overs to take home. We had less than some of our take home bags. Additionally, we have some gluten intolerant individuals and they were happy to make sure that there was enough on the menu to please. I cannot speak highly enough about this catering company and highly recommend that you consider them for your next event. read more

STOP SEARCHING YELP FOR A CATERER FOR YOUR NEXT EVENT !!!!!! I can only leave a review based on my experience of having the pleasure of attending a few events hosted by Anna. PRESENTATION: Anna's kind, sweet, homely personality really comes across in her presentation of her beautifully arranged food which will have everyone draining their phone battery for pictures. FOOD: with every bite she will leave you feeling with a sense of comfort as if you were eating mom's homecooking and craving more days or weeks later. So amazingly delicious, when I asked her what was in certain dishes, I went into shock not expecting that the dishes had food restrictions. read more

We are SO beyond happy we used Belly Bliss for our daughter's birthday- our guests loved the food, the staff was incredibly friendly & helpful. We heard nothing but compliments from our guests and knew how much we enjoyed it ourselves. We had heard plenty of catering horror stories from other people throughout our planning, but everything with Chef/ Owner Anna was completely smooth and easy, so all of our fears were laid to rest. No detail was too big or too small, and nothing was overlooked. They even cleaned my kitchen, grill and even put my kitchen towels in the washer. We were extremely impressed. For our event, we ended up going for mini sliders and flavored fries as appetizers. The mini patties very good with melted cheese and home made mini buns and the fries came in 3 flavors, cheese, sour cream and bbq. For the main course we had steak and creamy rosemary chicken with sun-dried tomatoes, my favorite. The steak was grilled to perfection, very tender and flavorful, no sauce or au jus. So if that's important to you, make sure you let Anna know. Trust me, it wouldn't be a problem. For the sides we had mashed potato, bbq salad (awesome), penne with roasted tomatoes (simple yet delicious). For the dessert, we asked Anna to do a sundae bar. This was a hit! My guests were excited for this, Anna made it look beautiful and inviting. Her servers scooped the ice cream and the guests got to put their own toppings like mochi, fresh berries, sprinkle, chocolate sauce and so on. Then finally, the cake. It was a delicious 3-tier white cake with fresh, organic berries! I'm not a cake person but I actually finished my slice after the guests had already left so I can truly enjoy it,lol. Hope this review is helpful to my other Yelpers. I feel like it's the least I could do since I found Belly Bliss on Yelp. read more

Anna and her team at Belly Bliss catered my daughter's second birthday party this past weekend and we were super happy that we chose Belly Bliss. Right from the start, we found Anna to be very responsive to our calls/emails/text. We even met her in person to go through the menu as we had special preferences for healthy and vegetarian options. Anna offered a lot of good suggestions on menu items, was willing to work with us within our price range and was extremely professional and pleasant from the time we first spoke to her through the end of our party. On the day of the party, Anna and Slyvia came right on time and set everything up beautifully. The food was amazing, presentation was great. All our guests gave us lots of compliments on the food. The flavors were really good and we could taste the fresh ingredients. A few minutes before the party ended, they came back and packed our leftovers (there wasn't much food left as the food was so good :)). Overall a very pleasant experience working with Anna. We would certainly use Belly Bliss catering again and recommend to anyone looking for a caterer in the area. read more

We hired Belly Bliss Catering to cater my baby shower for a party of about 35 and it couldn't have gone any better. The food was absolutely delicious and all my guests were raving about it! My mom-in-law already recommended Belly Bliss to a friend of hers with a dinner party that she's planning. Anna and her staff were professional, and ran everything smoothly. Their calming presence was also a nice welcome to us, as party planning can be stressful! Their prices are very fair as well, and for the deliciousness and quality of food, it's a no brainer. Anna also helped us with rentals as well (tables, umbrellas, chairs, dishware, and utensils). We would be happy to use them again for the next event. Highly recommend! read more

Belly bliss was sure a special little find! I was looking around for some food ideas for my babyshower when I came across Anna's belly bliss! The menu on the website seemed tasteful and a great variety. I then emailed Anna with all my requirements, budget and an idea of what i wanted and received a very speedy response answer with everything I needed! This was great! Not only was she very very very affordable, but I absolutely loved what she helped me out together. It was a tea party so appetizers were fit! The vegetarian pinwheels, mini BLT wraps, assorted fruit kebabs, smoked salmon crostini, mixed cheese and cracker platter were a hit! everyone looooooved the food. Tasteful and filling. She catered for 35 people and there was more than enough left over! She also threw in some complimentary RED VELVET CUPCAKES that's absolutely heaven! Omg! The best cupcakes since thy kingdom come. She adds choc chips and strawberry to them! They are an absolute MUST at any party! All in all- belly bliss deserves 5 stars for a job well done! Service is excellent, food is delicious, cost is affordable, decor is suitable and lovely (yes she came and decorated the table too and prepared some of the meals freshly at my home) Will definitely use them for my next event too! read more

But if you happen to book Anna for your next event, make sure to add her LEMON QUINOA! You're probably thinking been there done that. Trust me, you will not regret it. This past Saturday afternoon we had the wonderful food stylings of Anna's Belly Bliss Catering. Our son and daughter-in-law's Baby Shower was an amazing hit. We have been sharing with the attendees, over 50 adults, who we used, what the name of the dishes were and also received compliments on Anna and her staff. Guests enjoyed seeing the chicken skewers and sliders being grilled...obviously fresh. Each food item was better than the next. The child sized sandwiches we're also enjoyed by all. I look forward to having another party to cater. Starting with the initial conversations online and then on the phone I found Anna very easy to work with and flexible. Anna just catered a second event for me, this time a baby shower for my younger daughter. She was extremely helpful with the rentals, making the first contact with the rental company and making adjustments when plans changed. The intended backyard brunch had to be done inside, as rain was predicted. Her displays were gorgeous, even though she was seeing the new areas for the first time when she arrived. I appreciate her flexibility and resourcefulness! We asked for all items on the menu to be made in single servings, and they were displayed beautifully. The food was excellent -- the guests couldn't stop saying how good everything was. Anna made everything vegetarian as requested, except for the smoked salmon herb biscuits, which she highly recommended. I'm so glad I agreed to them! Belly Bliss catering was amazing and a perfect fit for my sister's baby shower. It was a small size party of 17 and working with Anna from start to finish was so easy. She is very professional, extremely nice and creates extraordinary fresh food. She was able to provide delicious vegetarian options for our luncheon and customized everything to fit our party uniquely. Highlights for me included: 1. Spinach filled phyllo dough pockets: very flaky and airy with a tasty filling. 2. Sundried tomato chicken meatballs: savory with melted cheese on top and a cherry tomato 3. Salad with a jalapeno vegan dressing: amazing blend of sweet and salty with a little kick 4. Grilled vegetables with orzo pasta: tasty and light We were not able to try her desserts at our event, but I'm sure they would be as delicious. She offers flower arrangements and rentals on the side if you are interested in having her arrange more for your event. In addition to bringing the food, she was able to stay and help keep the food filled and orderly. She also was kind enough to help serve champagne and keep the kitchen clean. I needed a caterer for a 45 person event, and boy am I glad I hired Belly Bliss! First of all, Anna is wonderful. She is incredibly easy to work with, totally on top of everything, a great communicator, and just so extremely nice as well as professional. Usually when I plan events, I feel that I have to stay on top of all of my vendors, but in this case I felt totally taken care of by Anna (she even helped me secure the right rentals for my event and provided helpful advice on the set up). The server who worked at our event was also fantastic. We wanted a buffet with a variety of small dishes to pick and choose from (enough to constitute a meal), special appetizers, and yummy desserts. Anna put together a menu for me that looked so perfect, I didn't feel the need to tweak it at all. She even included some delicious gluten-free options for my gluten-sensitive guests. The set up and decorations she put together were absolutely gorgeous and matched our theme wonderfully. Everything was picture perfect and ready by the time the guests arrived. The server kept the trays full all night (even as people came up for seconds, and thirds, and fourths, and so on!) and did a great job cleaning up after the guests without anyone noticing. Big hits with the guests included yummy burger sliders with blue cheese, amazing chicken meatballs (people couldn't stop talking about them at the party), the best baked brie I will probably ever experience in my lifetime, and the cupcakes... I am not a huge red velvet fan, but in my husband's words, Belly Bliss' red velvet cupcakes are the "most perfect and delicious thing, ever." Everything was fresh and tasted fantastic. On top of all of this awesomeness, their prices were extremely reasonable and they made sure to work within our budget. Needless to say, we were very happy with Belly Bliss and certainly hope we have an excuse to hire them again in the future! read more

We used them to cater a baby shower. The food was very very good. Their rosemary chicken in particular made me rethink if I knew how to cook chicken. It was very very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Also their couscous was delightful as was their spinach puffs appetizer. Working with them was a breeze. Extremely professional, nice, and worked with me as opposed to just trying to upsell. I believe in my heart the attitude was "how can we make this the best experience for the client" rather than "what can my business get out of this person/time. It really showed and it is very much appreciated. Not to forget to mention how this is a locally sourced, local business, lbtq friendly company. I definitely didn't just get quality for my money, I felt great about where my money was going. Their prices also were very reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in the valley or LA needing good food for an event. No doubt. read more
