I have hosted tons of events in the past and have worked with different caterers over the years, but Belly Bliss Catering felt different. Anna was very communicative and so professional during the entire process. She helped me narrow down a perfect menu for a brunch that wasn't too heavy or too light of a feeling either, the food was just right! Anna listened and paid attention to the details I wanted, to which everything was so beautifully displayed! I was receiving compliments all day saying how good the food was and how it was so aesthetically pleasing. Presentation and attention to detail is key and Anna and the team killed it! Belly Bliss was the caterer of choice for my daughter's baby shower last Saturday 12/3/2022 Let me just say that she did a great job decorating the table, but that's it. It went down hill from there. The flower arrangement was brought by me, per her request and she worked it into the design. My daughter and son in law requested NO pork, however, this request was not honored, in between the cheese pieces there were a few pieces of ham, but wait it's not all... They ordered lunch for 40 people, increased the number to 45 and paid more than $300 extra for the additional FIVE people which seemed excessive, but nevertheless, my son in law paid it. However, the day of the shower we ended up with only 35 people, but guess what, there wasn't enough main dishes for even 35 people. The two main lunch dishes were turkey spam, and small chicken skewers. and I mean appetizer size small. There were only 30 pieces of spam sandwiches for a 45-people lunch. There were less than 70 mini skewers of chicken each with TWO to THREE small bite-size pieces of chicken. It was supposed to be lunch baby shower from 12-3. I don't know about you but when I go to lunch in a restaurant and order chicken, I would be served either two large pieces of tights, two pieces of breast, or TWO full skewers of chicken. NOT HALF of one skewer. Somehow she got the quantity of the food all wrong. Why would she think that grown people would be ok with two to three bite size chicken is beyond me. I can not tell you if the chicken or Turkey spam tasted any good because I did not eat any, I let the guests eat first. All in all, I was sorry that I didn't pick up the phone and order additional lunch size skewers from another restaurant, but by the time I noticed that there was no additional chicken tray in the kitchen it was too late. I appreciate that she is the owner of a small business, I know it tough especially in todays economy. May I just mention the the $400 refund was about 10% of what was paid to her. read more

I paid $4,000 dollars for Belly Bliss Catering to cater my wife's baby shower lunch for 45 people. About 35 showed up yet most of my guests left hungry because Belly Bliss Catering was not upfront with me about the amount of food they were going to bring. Not every guest was allotted enough food to even have one of each main item on the menu. Dietary restrictions we repeatedly discussed were ultimately ignored. At first, I was offered a refund and they wanted to make things right because they admitted their mistakes. My ask was then refused and I was given $400 and a wave of excuses about how this was fair and they deserved what they kept. This experience unfortunately ruined an otherwise perfect event for my wife and I deeply regret that I trusted this company. read more

Unfortunately, COVID had other plans and caused us to reschedule the wedding several times before we finally were able to have our wedding this July 2021. I'll tell you it was definitely worth the wait! We recently celebrated our daughter's one year birthday and hired Belly Bliss Catering for the event. My wife went with them for a number of reasons but most specifically to support a woman owned business. From the beginning of our interactions they were extremely accommodating. My wife wasn't too keen on one of the ingredients for a hummus dish and they worked with her till she was happy. They were prompt in setting up! They tore down everything very quickly as well. And did an excellent job of setting the spread. All of it was professionally done and they stayed for the whole event. My father was a chef before he retired and hosted many events similar to this. He was thoroughly impressed with the work that they did. Having helped him on some of his events, I understand how hectic and how hard it is to please clients and guests. The menu for the event was perfectly balanced between bites for the little ones and savory dishes for the adults. All of the food was prepared fresh and not a single one of our guests complained. In fact, everyone commented on how delicious all of the food was. In addition, they did an excellent job of estimating the amount of food that was needed for the event so we didn't have an exorbitant amount of left-overs to take home. We had less than some of our take home bags. Additionally, we have some gluten intolerant individuals and they were happy to make sure that there was enough on the menu to please. We are SO beyond happy we used Belly Bliss for our daughter's birthday- our guests loved the food, the staff was incredibly friendly & helpful. We heard nothing but compliments from our guests and knew how much we enjoyed it ourselves. We had heard plenty of catering horror stories from other people throughout our planning, but everything with Chef/ Owner Anna was completely smooth and easy, so all of our fears were laid to rest. No detail was too big or too small, and nothing was overlooked. They even cleaned my kitchen, grill and even put my kitchen towels in the washer. We were extremely impressed. For our event, we ended up going for mini sliders and flavored fries as appetizers. The mini patties very good with melted cheese and home made mini buns and the fries came in 3 flavors, cheese, sour cream and bbq. For the main course we had steak and creamy rosemary chicken with sun-dried tomatoes, my favorite. The steak was grilled to perfection, very tender and flavorful, no sauce or au jus. So if that's important to you, make sure you let Anna know. Trust me, it wouldn't be a problem. For the sides we had mashed potato, bbq salad (awesome), penne with roasted tomatoes (simple yet delicious). For the dessert, we asked Anna to do a sundae bar. This was a hit! My guests were excited for this, Anna made it look beautiful and inviting. Her servers scooped the ice cream and the guests got to put their own toppings like mochi, fresh berries, sprinkle, chocolate sauce and so on. Then finally, the cake. It was a delicious 3-tier white cake with fresh, organic berries! I'm not a cake person but I actually finished my slice after the guests had already left so I can truly enjoy it,lol. Belly bliss was sure a special little find! I was looking around for some food ideas for my babyshower when I came across Anna's belly bliss! The menu on the website seemed tasteful and a great variety. I then emailed Anna with all my requirements, budget and an idea of what i wanted and received a very speedy response answer with everything I needed! This was great! Not only was she very very very affordable, but I absolutely loved what she helped me out together. It was a tea party so appetizers were fit! The vegetarian pinwheels, mini BLT wraps, assorted fruit kebabs, smoked salmon crostini, mixed cheese and cracker platter were a hit! everyone looooooved the food. Tasteful and filling. Anna just catered a second event for me, this time a baby shower for my younger daughter. She was extremely helpful with the rentals, making the first contact with the rental company and making adjustments when plans changed. The intended backyard brunch had to be done inside, as rain was predicted. Her displays were gorgeous, even though she was seeing the new areas for the first time when she arrived. I appreciate her flexibility and resourcefulness! We asked for all items on the menu to be made in single servings, and they were displayed beautifully. The food was excellent -- the guests couldn't stop saying how good everything was. Anna made everything vegetarian as requested, except for the smoked salmon herb biscuits, which she highly recommended. I'm so glad I agreed to them! She is very professional, extremely nice and creates extraordinary fresh food. I needed a caterer for a 45 person event, and boy am I glad I hired Belly Bliss! First of all, Anna is wonderful. She is incredibly easy to work with, totally on top of everything, a great communicator, and just so extremely nice as well as professional. Usually when I plan events, I feel that I have to stay on top of all of my vendors, but in this case I felt totally taken care of by Anna (she even helped me secure the right rentals for my event and provided helpful advice on the set up). The server who worked at our event was also fantastic. We wanted a buffet with a variety of small dishes to pick and choose from (enough to constitute a meal), special appetizers, and yummy desserts. Anna put together a menu for me that looked so perfect, I didn't feel the need to tweak it at all. She even included some delicious gluten-free options for my gluten-sensitive guests. The set up and decorations she put together were absolutely gorgeous and matched our theme wonderfully. Everything was picture perfect and ready by the time the guests arrived. The server kept the trays full all night (even as people came up for seconds, and thirds, and fourths, and so on!) and did a great job cleaning up after the guests without anyone noticing. Big hits with the guests included yummy burger sliders with blue cheese, amazing chicken meatballs (people couldn't stop talking about them at the party), the best baked brie I will probably ever experience in my lifetime, and the cupcakes... I am not a huge red velvet fan, but in my husband's words, Belly Bliss' red velvet cupcakes are the "most perfect and delicious thing, ever." Everything was fresh and tasted fantastic.
