I was staying a few miles away for a guys weekend on the lake and needed a lunch. There's not much to choose from around here but I wanted to support a local spot instead of grabbing fast food or something. I was a little late for lunch so I was the only one in there at 2pm. A few more folks came in after though. The young girl who seated and served me was really nice. I ordered the pulled pork and pimento cheese egg rolls and the jalapeño burger. The egg rolls came out but then she immediately came back and said they were the southwest ones by accident and she would get the right ones. My burger and fries came out next and then the original egg rolls I ordered. I tried both to compare but they were huge so I definitely couldn't finish them. I actually liked the southwest ones better anyway. I think they were supposed to come with a dipping sauce but I think she forgot with the mixup. She also mentioned that I wouldn't be charged for the extra order of egg rolls which I thought was funny because it wasn't my mistake in the first place. The spicy burger was great so I definitely enjoyed that. The service was a little slow but I think she got flustered after the egg roll mixup. Like I mentioned, she was really nice. And the cook came out to ask how everything was as well. If you're in town and looking for a good lunch, I would definitely recommend checking them out. They have ice cream and milk shakes too if you're looking for that. read more

Took our child there for a pumpkin event, food was great and my little man loved being able to pick his food in the buffet and then painting a pumpkin and cookie decorating. It was packed but what do you expect when service is wonderful read more

During a recent trip to Orangeburg County for my grandmother's funeral, I had occasion to eat at Bells Marina Restaurant. When dealing with a small business, you often gain a better understanding of a business and if you should support it based upon the people that run the business. Bells Marina also has a connected campground and rooms. A friend of the family received an amazing rate to help house family members who had come into town from outside of South Carolina. Bells provided a "clubhouse cabin" that they have. It had a central meeting area with a very nice wooden table in a living room area that was spacious, had several sofas with pull out beds, three bedrooms, each with two beds and a small kitchenette. The space was exactly what we needed. In the morning, I ordered breakfast for family members. Being from New York, I was skeptical what might be served at what to me was a random restaurant//bare bones diner. However, given the way Bells Marina extended itself to help our family, I wanted to support it. The fact is, on a horrible day, the morning of the funeral, I got to feed family members for a reasonable price and I ate a great breakfast. The grits were great as were the bacon and eggs. Even the bread and jelly were good. They have great comfort food and for me, Bells Marina helped provide comfort with their restaurant, with their willingness to assist and with their customer service. There was no need to be fancy, they provide exactly what you need. I would give them six stars if I could. read more

Went in for breakfast. I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits, hubby a BLT. Still siting there are 1/2 hr noticing most patrons did the breakfast bar. Waitress never came to refill coffee, never came back to the table, biscuits and gravy were gravy with cut up pieces of link sausages cut up into white gravy. Coffee tasted like made with burned beans or they didn't clean the pot after it got burned by sitting too long. All I can say is save your money and go to Hardees read more

I have known of Bell's since I was very small and used to stay outside Rocks Pond campground, my father & mother were good friends of Danny Bell, he will be missed. On a recent visit to my family near the campground, my sister and I went for the crab legs. I must say they are done perfectly!!! and I only take 2 clusters at a time in order to not have them get cold. the lady comes by often. My daughter had the kids shrimp and loved it. The catch to this 'buffet" of crab is that is all ya get besides some hush puppies. i think they should offer at least one side dish for you, maybe fries or baked potato or a salad. We asked for lemon and got these tiny pieces to try to get juice from. I personally ate about 10 clusters myself, then had to stop before I made myself sick. Good place for a meal. Friendly and the service is fast. Food is very tasty. I love the atmosphere.

Thursdays are all you can eat, until they're gone, crab legs ($25.99). Their were six of us staying at Harry's fish camp and we went to Bells and thoroughly enjoyed our crab legs. One word to describe them "WONDERFUL". They weren't overcooked or rubbery, just plain good. My wife also had their peach cobbler which she liked but she said that she preferred their strawberry cobbler to the peach. They do need to update their website since it still show's the AYCE crab legs as being $21.99 read more

My family and I had breakfast Sunday morning at Bells. The restaurant was full of patrons @ around 9:00 AM. They had several specials ranging from 2- eggs grits, toast and one meat for $4.85. The meat lover omelet with grits and toast was $7.95. The food was very good and very reasonably priced for the portions. The service was adequate and the waitress was friendly. If your in the area I would recommend eating at Bells. If your a local I'm sure you have already eaten there several times. read more

Stayed at Bells Marina 6-7-15 to 6-14-15. PROS Quiet CONS Eutawville drying up,basically dead. No boat rental. Not handicapped equipt Hotel showing its age.Stained carpet,mildew. Camping area right in front of hotel. Picnic tables broke/warped,parts missing. Pier has warped boards. Television (Dish) continually going out,no tv channel guide available,very basic operating instructions. No refrigerator/microwave. Swimming area (questionable). At the time my family and I was there a birthday party of around 30-40 people took over the small camping area in front of the hotel including all the available parking. Loud music and hollering followed until nightfall. No security available. Restaurant average. Better place to eat "Becca's Soul Food" in Eutawville. Would I stay there again? NO Would I recommend Bells Marina to anyone? NO read more

I have been to bells several times over the past 20 something years and with each year it seems to be getting worse I use to go a lot more. I recently spent my first night in the hotel before then I only stopped in the restaurant and gas station when I visited. Hotels are very outdated, smelled of mildew and the AC half works. Dock was old and warped. Swimming area was covered in goose feces and grown up weeds. Playground looked very unsafe and old. Picnic tables were not sturdy. Gas station employees could learn to smile every once in a while also it smelled awful in there from the crickets. The gas station does have a nice look on the inside with the mounts hanging and the tiki looking cashier stand. The beer could be colder. Over the years the food at Bells Restaurant as been getting worse. Breakfast for the most part is great and if you catch lunch early its good too but dinner is awful everything taste like left overs from lunch and the mashed potatoes are instant and have no flavor. When Hazel ran the place the wait staff always greeted you as you walked in now your lucky to get eye contact from anyone. I sat in my seat for about five minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Finally the young blonde waitress who's name I didn't catch came over dragging her feet and asked what I wanted to drink, she did not bring me a menu and acted like she didn't even want to be there. The whole time I heard her tell the other waitress her life story which she seemed more into then taking my order finally she came back and when I asked for a menu she seem to get an attitude. I use to come a lot to eat crab legs at this place few years back and things seemed to still be going good at bells even though Hazel no longer had the place and a woman named Jennifer did at that time and I always had the same nice servers who were also fast but they no longer do crab legs and when I asked if they were going to again I got a simple ''Nope". Bells needs a complete make over and a mostly new start with staff as well. read more
