Food is pretty good, and the staff is amazing. I love being able to park my jet ski and grab a bite. Great family owned restaurant!!

Unfortunately, this business has closed. It was a great place to have a few drinks and hang out.

Came here for my friend's bachelorette trip and I must say, NOT a good experience. I had called…read moreprior to to inquire about a private area to karaoke to thoroughly enjoy doing karaoke as a group. I'm beyond glad this option was available because I don't believe we would have had a good time had we just participated in a public setting trying to karaoke. What I will say is that $100 per hour to reserve this space is a joke. We booked this private area for $200. We were enclosed in by a curtain and had to compete with the music and noise from the bar and others singing karaoke. We were literally placed in a 4x4 space (a bit exaggerated, but not big AT ALL). The space contained 1 tv screen, a computer, 1 microphone, 4-5 broken bar stools, an inflatable guitar, an exit door, another door to storage space, and the smell of old spilt liquor and urine. Not the most pleasant setup to pay $200 for. BUT we made the most of it considering the amount had already been paid. We were interrupted multiple times by employees fetching things from the storage closet and random guests who wanted to peek through the curtains to see what was on the other side. I believe my expectations were high based off prior experiences of booking private karaoke rooms at other establishments and assuming this would meet the standards.

Came here towards the very end of my night and wanted to pop in and see how it was. I signed up but…read morethere was a handful of people in front of me so I didn't know if I would get to sing. I'm sure the vibes change from day to day with the crowds but I'd say there was a variety of people there, older, college kids, bachelorette party, wedding party. It definitely gives dive bar energy and drinks are affordable which was nice. Everyone was quite friendly there and it's a great place to just be a spectator if you don't like to sing. lol I actually got called up to sing just before they shut down and everyone was really vibin! I'll need to come back because I didn't get to spend much time there but all in all it was a fun time even going solo.

First off I want to start by saying this is a good ole "down home" kind of bar / restaurant. That…read morebeing said if you know, you know. I stay next door pretty often, and I've never came in. Although I have been to waffle House, which I'm sure I reviewed prior. I came in around supper time, 6:00 p.m. or so, and it was probably at 75% capacity. I sat at the bar, after being welcomed by a local fully equipped with his own Skynyrd beer koozie!! Hahaha! They have karaoke, and they karaoke DJ spinning all the good country hits, literally emulating exactly what I play at home. Anyhow, the local that pulled my chair out essentially, told me that the "bartender sucked" But in good ole down home local fashion, she clapped right back, and obviously he was joking cuz she is phenomenal. Despite having a completely full bar, and waiting tables, she acknowledged me almost immediately. Even sat down in the bar stool next to me to take my order and chit chat and go over the menu with me. I think her name was Alicia, but regardless she was outstanding! I ordered hot wings and lemon pepper wings. They came out really fast, really hot, and really good. I kind of wish I had room to order another entree, but it filled me up. As I waited for my food, I was suddenly engulfed by an entire group of locals. Now this place, is the mature crowd, and they were so nice they sort of took me under their wing! This is the epitome of down south hospitality. I've been holding out on coming to this place for a few years now, and looking back, I wish I would have came a lot sooner. I hate using the term "vibe", But this is totally my vibe. Great food, great service, great locals, laid back atmosphere with music playing and karaoke? You just can't beat it. I have responsibilities, so I had to leave really early, but rest assured, I will definitely be back. I mean who else is going to sing Jason Aldean on the karaoke machine? Thank you skynyrd's, thank you Alicia (I hope I remembered your name right), such a great experience and I'm sorry I had to cut it short! Oh, and it has karaoke FOUR nights a week! It also has darts, pool, and an old style arcade game. Jimmy's looks a little rough on the outside because of poor lighting, but looks can be deceiving. It is members only but it's easy to become a member. Peak hours are a bit unpredictable. Even on a Friday night, sometimes it's really busy and sometimes it is slow. Sometimes it's busy on a Tuesday. You just never know so if it's too slow or too crowded the first time you show up, try again.

They often have home cooked food out and welcome anyone to eat what they would like. Patrons also bring snacks to give to the bar which are given to guest free of charge when available at request. Karaoke with Ernie is absolutely the best. Other KDJs do karaoke on some nights and also do a good job, but nothing beats Ernie. Jimmy's is a melting pot of people and everyone is welcomed equally. You will find a wide range of ages of all types of beliefs and backgrounds having a great time together. Whether it is throwing darts, shooting pool, singing karaoke, or drinking cold beer at the bar. The only cons would be the lighting is poor at night and it does get very smokey. It is easy to overlook that, but it is something to consider if you have poor eyesight or breathing difficulties.
