I had a very disappointing experience at Bello's Barber Shop with Arturo Zavala. The initial contact was friendly. He asked about my previous barber, and I explained that my barber is generally good with hair. Since this shop has good ratings, I decided to try it, expecting a high-quality hair and beard cut. Unfortunately, the result was far from that. One side of my hair was noticeably longer than the other, my head was covered with cut hair, there were uneven cuts around the ear level, and the beard trim was extremely basic, something I already do myself at home. I was charged $55 for this. Because the cut looked so bad, I had to go to my regular barber afterward and pay another $30 just to fix it. In total, a simple hair and beard cut cost me $85, which was very frustrating. I do not recommend this barber and will not be returning. read more

I made an appointment with Moises at 11 am. The appointment started right on time. Off the bat, conversation was welcoming. He proceeded to ask how I'd like my hair cut, and I explained to him as best as I could not knowing all the terminology. He took his time to understand what I wanted/ how I would style it and we were off. The great conversation continued and as he cut we learned more about each other. He mentioned he has many years of experience and I could tell by his professionalism and eye for detail. Close to the end of the haircut, he asked how it was looking and I mentioned something peculiar about how my hair was sticking out due to my head shape. He went back in to change it and explained to me how to request my haircut if I visited another shop. I highly recommend Moises. Big picture, the Bello's shop was clean and updated. This shop is legit. I came in thinking it was just another new barbershop in the area but as soon as I entered I could tell it was legit. All the barbers stopped what they were doing to say whats up and the vibe was clear- chill and laid back. All the barbers were young so you know they won't have trouble giving you the most recent styles but they also know the fundamentals. My barber (I didn't catch his name but he was wearing a hat) was nice from the beginning. Me and him were chatting it up about anything and everything. He took his time with my haircut (as every barber should do) and even when I told him he could hurry if he was in a rush since the line was big he said he would finish my haircut when it's perfect. switching Barbers is something that every guy worries about but let me just say the bellos crew will get you right! everyone is really friendly and theres a solid vibe through out the shop and the crew wether you are thier client or not will make you feel welcome. Place is cool and the staff were great. A month ago I booked an online appointment to only find out after waiting 30 minutes that my barber didn't get my appointment request. And when they came in, they already had a client walk in with them and couldn't cut my hair. After seeing this, and trying to figure out what happened. I was frustrated. The guy near the hair gel booth apologized and asked if Sam could take care of me and give me my cut. Luckily, Sam hooked it up and saved me as a customer. This place opened up around the corner from my house a couple yrs ago. Thank Goodness it did, I met STEPH. I've been picky about who cuts my hair could probably count on both hands the barbers or stylists that have cut my hair. My first visit i had to wait without leaving over 2 hrs. I was pissed, I wanted to go home and come back, the owner said if I left I'd lose my spot, So I waited , waited, kept waiting and Steph invited me to sit in his chair. The only reason why I waited the 2 plus hrs is cause I needed a cut for a thing to do with my wife. Meeting Steoh was unlike any experience I've had with a barber in yrs, he listened to whatcI wanted and told me not to worry " I got you" and he did. Unfortunately there is not a way to rate only one barber so the whole business takes a hit. I had scheduled my appointment Friday afternoon for two haircuts on Saturday at 2 pm. I showed up Saturday and the barber did not show up. I was frustrated but understood he might have lost my phone number . I was able to text and I let him know things pop up and please save my number in case he had to cancel in the future. This gentleman was very apologetic and offered to come in on Sunday even though they do not open to cut my hair at 12 . I said are you sure because I can look elsewhere. He assured me Sunday 12 pm. I canceled my plans for Sunday and at 11:47 am he cancels a second time. I truly believe this is lacking professionalism. If you want a regular, quick in and out haircut go to Supercuts. If you want the best service available, an excellent cut that will have you leaving the shop confident as hell this is the spot for you. I have been getting cut by Steph for the past 2 years, driving as far as Stanford to the 925 to get right. At this point I don't even ask him for a certain cut, I just let him do whatever cuz the guy knows best. Always end up with an amazing cut followed with beard line up with a razor, not using the machine like so many barbers do because they are lazy. I have seen the work of the rest of the staff as well and although I cannot say I have been cut by them, their customers always look satisfied with their cuts. The shop itself is very clean and has drinks and products for sale as well. The service is well priced for what you are getting, just make sure if you make an appointment you show up before that because spots fill up quick and no one is going to wait 15 minutes for you. read more

So I came here tonight with my 4 boys and I have to say Gustavo did an amazing job on their hair. My youngest is special needs and Gustavo handled it beautifully. He didn't get impatient or frustrated when my youngest kept freaking about the hair and I appreciated that so much .
