Been coming here for a little while now, and it's such a great space with incredibly talented barbers. I've had the pleasure of seeing Parker for my haircuts and have been extremely happy with the results every time. He's very meticulous, detail-oriented, and really takes his time to make sure everything looks just right. Definitely go check Parker out, you'll leave happy! read more

I've been coming here for over a year to see Josh. He's the man. Best haircut I've ever had, hands down. He is meticulous in his attention to detail, with a keen eye for how hair behaves and what it needs, cut-wise. I always leave the chair looking and feeling like a million bucks. I can't say enough good things about Josh, but I've heard nothing but positive reviews about the other barbers. Go here. This is the place. read more

I've been going to Parker for years, so when he moved to Sharp about a month ago, following him was a no-brainer. Same level of consistency, precision, and attention to detail I've always gotten -- Parker is phenomenal and genuinely goes out of his way to make sure you walk out looking right every single time. The shop itself is a breath of fresh air. Modern, relaxed vibe, beer and cold brew on tap (which is always a win), and a crew of barbers who are all friendly and welcoming. You can tell it's a place that takes pride in both the craft and the experience. If you're looking for a great cut and a shop that actually feels enjoyable to be in, Parker at Sharp is it. read more

When my barber Parker moved to this shop, I had no idea how nice it was. Nice vibe inside with beer and cold brew on tap. Doesn't hurt that after your cut you can get another pint at Headlands Brewery next door. I highly recommend you check this place out and ask for Parker, he is talented! read more

I have been meaning to write an update on my prior review, but life gets in the way. Suffice to say, I am motivated by once again the fabulous hair styling on my diminishing head of hair. To my appreciative amazement, JB makes me looks so fine...particularly for an aging Asian stud such as myself! Well. at least I think so! Anyway, while I have a history of sending other prior barbers seeking a new gig once they get thru with my unwieldy scissors breaking hair, JB good heartedly takes on this ungrateful task head on! After listening to a variety of complaints relating to the need to "cut it all off" he then demonstrate the ample prowess of his art on my canvass of hair! I always enjoy the jocular conversation that I have with JB as we discuss his devotion to his wife and daughter and his dedication to his craft and his family, the 49ers ,and eateries. In fact, his taste of cuisines is excellent as well, as evidenced by his recent suggestion to a Laotian inspired Thai restaurant that was absolutely superb! So, in short, take yourself and your sons if are so lucky to have some to JB for the great ambiance and service at the Sharp location in Lafayette! read more

I've been going to Parker for over 10 years, so when he moved to Sharp, following him was an easy decision. His cuts are always consistent, clean, and precise, and his attention to detail is second to none. Parker takes the time to make sure everything looks right, and I always leave feeling fresh. He now cuts both of my boys as well, and he brings that same level of care and quality to their cuts every time. They always look forward to their haircuts as well! read more

I was looking chopped before my cut. After a brief consult with Parker, I knew I would leave Sharp looking fresh! Man did Parker deliver. Highly recommend! read more

Sharp Barber Shop not only has a great atmosphere it has highly qualified barbers. I've been going to this shop for over a year regularly every three weeks. My go to barber is Josh Bulla who is highly skilled, friendly, and has accommodated my schedule as well as my Australian brother in law who was here on a visit last October ( see photo!) read more

This place is a great spot to get a cut. Always clean and everyone is friendly even if you aren't being cut by them. Parker has been my barber for a long time. He takes his time and makes sure your cut comes out exactly how you want. He also cuts my son's hair now and he's so good with younger clients too. Couldn't recommend him or the shop more. read more

I've been coming to Sharp for 3-4 months now, I followed Parker from another barbershop in Walnut Creek. I absolutely love this shop, it's got an amazing vibe and everyone is a pro. Sheldon has done an unreal job at attracting so much talent and keeping the energy at Sharp at a high level. Parker has been my barber for many years, he's one of the most authentic and genuine people I've ever met. He's immensely talented and he's the only one I trust to keep my hair looking right. I could not recommend him more, he's responsive to messages and has always been flexible with me when my scheduled appointments need to be moved. I am so lucky to have found such a great shop with great people there! 5 stars, easily. read more

Been going to Parker for about two years now. Actually, I followed him here from the previous spot he worked at. At this point I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. He's consistent, pays attention to detail, and actually listens to what you want instead of just running the same cut every time. Beyond the haircut, he's just a great dude to sit with for 30-45 minutes. Easy to talk to, chill vibe, never feels rushed. You can tell he takes pride in his work and wants you walking out looking right. If you're picky about your barber or tired of hit-or-miss cuts, Parker's your guy. Also, shout out to the barbershop itself. Great tunes, beer on tap, and the smell of smashburgers from the brewery next door. read more

10/10 quality haircut and service with Parker every time! Made the move over from a different shop a couple months back and it was never a doubt that I was going to follow him. Sharp is a bit further from home than before for me but it was a no brainer to follow him here to Lafayette! The shop has beer and cold brew on tap and always a great vibe while I'm in. Competitive prices too. I've been getting cut by Parker for a couple years now and I can confidently say he's a fantastic barber for people of all ages. Couldn't recommend Parker and Sharp Barber shop as a whole enough! read more

I've on and off gone to barber shops in the past as I've never enjoyed the experience/liked the haircut for the cost. I decided to try Sharp and have been going back consistently for every haircut and beard trim for over a year now. Everybody is welcoming, friendly, and offer you beer or cold brew on tap. Shout out to Josh Bulla! I've been going to him for haircuts since he was an apprentice. Josh is very friendly, listens to any questions you have, and makes sure he knows exactly what you want for your haircut. The only downside is that it's cash only. Probably better for the business but an inconvenience for me needing to go to a bank to get cash everytime before a haircut. They have an ATM on site but who knows what those fees are going to be. read more

SHARP barber shop is the one and only barbershop that keeps me looking like a million bucks. Clean work environment and pure elegance the moment you walk through the door. Precision quality haircuts is a dying art form and my boy Sheldon and this shop have it on lock. Thank you. read more

Pranav is the bomb. He's fast and his attention to detail is fantastic. Would never have a date night without visiting Sharp first - everybody is great, its a fun environment and the best place around to get a cut! read more

I've been getting my hair cut by Pranav for over a year now, and I can't recommend him enough. When I first came in, I wasn't 100% sure on the exact style I wanted, but I showed him a few pictures and he was able to nail it. He's super easy to book with and has great availability (including weekends) and always runs on time. I've never waited more than a couple of minutes past my appointment. The shop has a bright, relaxed and welcoming open garage-door-vibes. He always welcomes me when I enter the shop and offers me a drink--whether it's water, a beer, or even a whiskey--before getting started. If you're looking for a barber who listens, delivers great cuts, and makes the whole experience quick and enjoyable, Pranav is the guy to see. read more

Robert has been an amazing barber. He always cuts my hair exactly the way I want it and is consistently on time for appointments. Overall, it's been a great experience every time. I highly recommend Robert. read more

The barber shop was easy to find and had excellent parking. I arrived early and sat down awaiting my appointment and my scheduled barber, Parker, had come up and offered me some refreshments while I waited. The atmosphere was very welcoming and I was extremely satisfied with my haircut. Safe to say I will be coming back to Parker for my next appointment. read more

Booked a 1pm w/ Jimmy - arrived at 12:55... took a seat and began waiting... kept waiting... waited a bit more - zero acknowledgement or indication that he was running behind. I was so pissed that I finally got up and I left at 1:25. Really wanted to like this spot, but guys... this is such bad biz. All it would've taken to earn my repeat business is for this guy to stop cutting for a second, come over and say hello - let me know how late he'd be, while providing the option to wait, rebook etc.? Jimmy did text to apologize, but it was sorta like, too little too late - You guys owe me $5 for the off-street parking meter and ATM fee - Complete waste of my afternoon. Thanks but no thanks. read more

SHARP Barber Shop - Total lack of awareness and overall professionalism - You had every opp to make it right, but chose to fight. - Barbers Near Me - Lafayette, California

Love this place. Chris is the man! I absolutely recommend this barber shop to all. The environment when you walk in is like no other. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. You can't go wrong! When I arrive I sit down and wait for Chris to finish up. Who ever is not cutting hair at the moment will come introduce them selves and ask if I would like a water or something to drink. Chris has been cutting my hair for a couple months now and I will never be choosing another spot to get my hair cut. Chris has hands down given me the best haircut, highly recommended. read more

Daniel was great very attentive, we will be back my son loved his hair. We have been looking for a new barber very happy .

Pranav Sharma, is one of California best razor technicians. I was able to schedule a razor shave with Pranav with late notice as a walk-in and was accommodated. Great service and incredible brewery within the circle that created such a positive vibe for sport televisions, beer, whiskey and decor. The shave was a masterpiece of details and peppermint oil along with hot towels and cold towels. Mature conversation and great service. I look forward to more of this outstanding hospitality and professional service. read more

Excellent cut and environment. Have been going there for a few years now getting cuts from Tom.

I've been getting cut from Pranav close to two years now. His work is impeccable. He always accommodates for my schedule and will have me in and out in under 30 minutes all while delivering with a precise cut. Highly recommended. read more

I booked an appointment and got there 15 minutes early. Then I waited half an hour past my scheduled time. There wasn't any acknowledgement by anyone whatsoever. I believe the barber I selected ended up taking other appointments - I'm not sure if they were walk-ins but I could only assume since these guys have calendars. What killed me was when I received a text (probably automated) asking to pay them through Venmo for breaching their 24-hour cancellation policy. Are you kidding me? They should have paid me for my time and gas and sent me an apology text instead. I've never been to any hair place where I haven't been welcomed by anyone. It was my first time there and I wasn't exactly sure who my stylist was so I sat near the entrance and waited. If it's my job to go up to the person who's cutting my hair, I would have passed in the first place. Ended up going to a place that was cheaper and delivered a better haircut than what I saw in the Yelp pictures. read more

Junior gave me the best haircut I've ever had!!! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he gave me the exact haircut I wanted! Thank you so much Junior. I appreciate all the conversation! SHARP Barber Shop - Haircut from Chris Reese at Sharp Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Lafayette, California

Chris Reese is maybe too good a barber. I say this because whenever I get my hair cut at SHARP - the cut looks fantastic and it lasts forever! This is only a bummer because the location of this shop is incredible (with Headlands Brewing Company and its signature Smash Burgers next door) and its open layout is something I've never seen before (the whole roof comes off on sunny days). I'd been trying to find a barber in the East Bay for a while, even driving into Oakland and Berkeley (from Danville) to get cuts, but now that I've found SHARP, the hunt is over -- this place the real deal. As for Chris, he's attentive, enthusiastic, and cuts in a way that almost feels collaborative -- he always makes sure we're on the same page. But most importantly, now that I've gotten a few cuts there, I go in feeling 100% confident I'm going to be happy when I leave. read more

Great barbers and haircuts. There is no dispute on that front. We've enjoyed going here for some time now. The last time we went, I used the ATM machine in their back room as they're cash only and I forgot to bring some. I never use this particular card - ever. A week later my card company calls me to inform me there has been suspicious activity on my account. Lots of fraudulent charges which resulted in a big pain in the butt for me. Thankfully, my card company was on top of it. I emailed them through the form on their website to let them know there is a skimmer on their ATM machine. No reply whatsoever. Save yourself the trouble and bring cash from a trusted ATM and not the rental type stand alone machine they have in the back room. So disappointing. read more

I have lived in the area for about eight years now and for the entire time I couldn't find a barber I was really happy with until now. I tried more than a half a dozen different barbers, and none of them had the attention to detail like this place. Each barber in this shop is different and you should read their bios so that you can find somebody that just clicks with you like Nico did with me. Sharp has a really good vibe with a brewery right outside the back door which is how I found this place. I think I finally found a home. read more

I moved from NYC to California and was looking for a good Barbershop to trim my beard. I called and specifically asked for someone experienced with beards and who has good straight razor techniques. I was told Pranav Sharma was the man to see. NYC is easy, every barber is skilled with a razor but I have learned when traveling that not every barber has razor skills which is unheard of in NY, because you couldn't pass the State licensing test without it. This "barber's" razor skills were nonexistent and the concept of a straight line with clippers was foreign to him. He ruined my beard so I left, leaving with crooked lines and unshaven as he couldn't use a straight razor. The good thing is that he didn't charge me, but when I was telling him how to correct his work, as I am in the business since 1986, his reply was "I don't like to be told how to do my job." I left and found another shop who couldn't do razor work, but they recommended I go to Diablo Barber Co. on Mt. Diablo Blvd in Lafayette California. I was seen by a young female barber named Nicole who not only fixed my beard but her razor techniques and basic barber services like the use of a hot towel for shaving were 2nd to none. She is now my barber, and I will never go back to Sharp Barbershop nor do I recommend it. read more
