Most of the other places he previously went to used clippers and didn't really do anything to enhance his features. Coworkers had recommended this place and he's had such a good experience each time, that he actually enjoys going back and takes pride in getting his hair done now. His go to barber at Los Barberos is Stephen Guillen and he's never left unhappy or dissatisfied with the service. The quality is always on par, plus the vibe is chill and relaxed. He gets a complimentary drink which he says only adds to the experience but he'd keep going regardless. This is a pretty cool shop with a good vibe. Here is how I rate each category. Overall, I give this shop a 4.5/5. Vibe/Atmosphere: 5/5 This shop has a pretty cool vibe. They have several couches and chairs you can sit in to wait. They also have a couple tables with chairs if you want to sit there and put any items on the table while you wait. They have good music playing the entire time and all the barber have a high energy together (joking, talking sports, etc.). They also have a bar area in the back with a TV above it that is usually playing sports if there is any sporting events going on. Cuts: 5/5 I used to come here in the past and I was always happy with my cut. Now, we take our boys here to get their haircuts and each barber we've had gave them a cut they were happy with. This time we had Aldo and Diego. I showed them each a picture of what each boy wanted and they delivered a cut to the standard we were hoping for. My youngest son had a particular type of style that he wanted. Diego made sure that he understood all the things he needs to do while styling his hair to give him the look he wants after getting his haircut. This went a little above and beyond my expectation. I would recommend both Aldo or Diego! General Customer Service: 4/5 One cool thing at this shop is that they usually offer you a water, beer, shot or other beverages they may have available. This is something that is always nice to enjoy when you're getting a cut or waiting for someone to get their haircut. However, sometimes it's hit and miss if it's offered. If they don't offer it, it's likely just because they forgot to that time. But, this doesn't happen often. The main reason I am giving this a 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because most of the time they don't take card or Venmo for payment. (However, this is barber specific. So, different barbers that work here might accept these forms of payment.) They do have an ATM here though if you need cash. But, it can be a bit frustrating if you weren't prepared and didn't show up with cash. Overall, I would recommend this shop! I scheduled an appointment online, which was super easy. Before the haircut I told them liked the length of my hair and just wanted to thin and texturize my hair. I showed them a picture of a mid-length hairstyle. Long story short, the barber ended up giving me an undercut and cut inches off my hair on the back and sides. By the time I noticed, it was too late. It doesn't help that you can't see what the barber is doing because they face you away from the mirror. Also, they trimmed my sideburns an inch higher than I had them, so I have a gap with no blending between beard and hairline, except for the random hairs they left. I'm so confused by this haircut. The person cutting my hair was nice and friendly, but this is one of the worst haircuts I've ever gotten. read more

This place is really top notch! I brought my teenaged son here to get his haircut after him not doing anything to it for a year! He saw Aldo who took the time to listen to what he envisioned and created a haircut for him that looks great! Their shop is very clean and modern. They have a nice comfortable waiting area. I didn't think to go to a barber shop before since I've always had longer hair and went to hair salons, but since undergoing cancer treatment, I've lost all my hair, and now it's finally growing back. My hair is about 1.5 inches long now, but the sides and back needed some shaping, so I decided to give this place a try. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by one of their employees and offered something to drink. I couldn't pass up on a nice cold beer. I didn't have an appointment, but they were able to schedule me with Aldo for a slot 2 hrs later. I showed some photo references and said I wanted a pixie cut with the top part untouched, so it could grow out. Aldo helped me bring in the sides and gave me a nice fade on the back/neck area. He blended everything nicely and made sure I was fully satisfied with the results before I paid. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back! read more
