I took my 5 year old son here while we were visiting relatives and we had an excellent experience. I've been trying to get my son to cut his hair for a year and he finally asked so I jumped on the opportunity. Based on prior reviews I chose Los Barberos. They were able to get me in right away. 1st impression is clean, friendly and a great atmosphere. I was greeted immediately and offered something to drink. My son's barber was Jorge O. He was amazing with my son, took his time and did a complete transformation on my son's hair. He did the exact cut we asked for and we have gotten so many compliments on how well he did. I highly recommend this shop and Jorge O. read more

Diego gives quality, dependable haircuts every. single. time. I moved to the area and was on a tragic quest for a new barber -- you know, that awkward "please don't ruin my head" kind of quest. Luckily, I found the man himself. The service? Top notch. The other barbers? Friendly, professional. Diego? Always looking out for the greater good. I once showed up 20 minutes late because I thought my appt was an hour later than it was, and Diego not only reached out to check to make sure I was still alive, he STILL managed to fit me in without judgment. Highly recommend -- your hair will thank you! read more

I mean I don't know what you guys think but I would not recommend. I don't know if I'm overreacting but I think the haircut is chopped. Don't want to show my face but looks like a front bowl cut with a taper. read more

Los Barberos - The hair cut I just got is chopped. Or is it just me overthinking or overreacting. - Barbers Near Me - Pleasant Hill, California

My husband started coming here summer of 2024, just a few weeks prior to our wedding. He was in need of a new barber and someone who could help him style his hair since he's pretty low maintenance and doesn't like using styling products. Most of the other places he previously went to used clippers and didn't really do anything to enhance his features. Coworkers had recommended this place and he's had such a good experience each time, that he actually enjoys going back and takes pride in getting his hair done now. His go to barber at Los Barberos is Stephen Guillen and he's never left unhappy or dissatisfied with the service. The quality is always on par, plus the vibe is chill and relaxed. He gets a complimentary drink which he says only adds to the experience but he'd keep going regardless. Stephen styled his hair and cleaned up his beard for our wedding day, making him look even more handsome (thanks Stephen)! Definitely recommend this place! read more

I've been coming to the shop for 5 years now and have been cut by primarily Adan, but also from Luis and Diego. They are always welcoming and positive. They have always provided me with perfect cuts and keep me looking fresh. The shop is always clean and definitely a vibe. If I could..I'd give them 10/5 stars. read more

Absolutely FIVE STARS across the board for Los Barberos Barbershop this place is the gold standard of what a true barbershop experience should be! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the pride, the professionalism, and the unmatched vibe that sets Los Barberos apart. The shop is clean, stylish, welcoming, and filled with great energy, like stepping into a space where culture, craft, and community meet. Let me shout out a few of the dream team that makes it all happen: Marvin is a true master of his craft -- sharp fades, flawless tapers, and precision beard work every single time. He takes his time, listens to exactly what you want, and somehow makes it even better than you imagined. Marvin brings that perfect mix of old-school technique with new-school finesse. Julian brings pure heat with the clippers. He's got an artist's eye and the hands of a surgeon whether it's a complex design or a clean classic look, you leave that chair looking and feeling brand new. His attention to detail is no joke. Adan is smooth, skilled, and seriously consistent. He knows how to read your style and deliver a cut that fits your face, your vibe, and your lifestyle. Chill demeanor, but his work speaks loud. Every cut feels like a confidence boost. Luis is pure professionalism and next-level talent. He's efficient without ever rushing, and always locks in a fresh, clean, polished look that lasts. You can tell he takes pride in every single cut and it shows. These are just a few of the master barbers, the entire staff is truly talented! You can't go wrong with any barber you select. Whether you're prepping for a big event, a fresh start, or just that weekly reset, Los Barberos is THE spot. You won't just get a haircut, you'll get an experience. The energy is upbeat, the music is on point, and the conversations are always genuine. Highly recommend making this your go-to barbershop. You'll walk out looking crispy, feeling confident, and already counting down the days to your next appointment. These guys are elite. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I've been coming to this barbershop for the last two years and have been getting my haircut by Marvin since then. The first time he cut my hair, he's been consistent with the quality of his cuts, punctual with my appointment time and goes out of his way to help me if I have a last minute haircut. He even gave me his phone number in the event I need to get a hold of him. The service from this place is always top tier and I'm always greeted with a smile. read more

I've been coming to this barbershop for over a year now after a friend put me on to Julian. From day one he treated me like family and takes real pride in his craft. Every cut is clean, the blends are sharp, and the lineup is always on point. The shop has a great vibe--welcoming, professional, and consistent. Booking appointments is easy and they're flexible, which makes it even better. This review is long overdue, but if you want a fresh blend and a crispy lineup, Julian is the one to see. read more

good vibes and hair cuts, My son went in for a nice hair cut, the place was so nicely decorated and I got a nice cold drink.

My son was very happy with his hair cut and JP was very friendly. We will be back. Thank you!

Diego V at Los Barberos has been cutting my hair for years now, he does an incredible job. He took the time with me to figure out what would be the best look and it always turns out great! The location itself is really inviting as well, the staff are super friendly, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you're at a fun bar more than a barber shop. read more

Stopped here in the summer to get my sons haircut at the last minute. Ariela did such a great job I decided to have her cut mine as well a couple weeks later. I've always had an issue finding a barber that could give me a proper cut consistently but Ariela is very detailed and gives great explanations on what works. Happy to have stumbled into the shop and have her as my barber! read more

I had an absolutely amazing experience getting my haircut! From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed and well taken care of. The staff offered a variety of beverages as a courtesy, which was such a nice touch. The stylist took the time to really understand what I wanted and made sure every detail was perfect--he's truly a perfectionist! He also cleaned up my beard, and it looks better than ever. The atmosphere was really cool with a manly vibe that made the whole experience even better. Plus, they're open on Mondays, and took me in at 5:30 Pm which is fantastic since no other barbers are open then. The whole appointment took about an hour. I left feeling refreshed, confident, and thrilled with the result. Even with the cost of $60 for a haircut without shears and beard trim up with a $15 tip is still highly recommend! read more

Brought my dad here for a hot towel shave and wow. Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's recently and his shakes seem to be getting stronger. He's shaving less and less because of it so I thought this might be nice. Booked easily online with Diego and it was a seamless experience. Place was beautifully decorated, vibe was nice and he was very patient. He did a fantastic job. Definitely recommend. read more

Giselle took amazing care of me and I will definitely be back to see her. She took her time and listened to me sincerely before taking control like some barbers tend to do sometimes. She's very personable and has a great energy as well the shop and fellow barbers. Love the lighting. Most other shops are super white, this is more relaxing. read more

This is a pretty cool shop with a good vibe. Here is how I rate each category. Overall, I give this shop a 4.5/5. Vibe/Atmosphere: 5/5 This shop has a pretty cool vibe. They have several couches and chairs you can sit in to wait. They also have a couple tables with chairs if you want to sit there and put any items on the table while you wait. They have good music playing the entire time and all the barber have a high energy together (joking, talking sports, etc.). They also have a bar area in the back with a TV above it that is usually playing sports if there is any sporting events going on. Cuts: 5/5 I used to come here in the past and I was always happy with my cut. Now, we take our boys here to get their haircuts and each barber we've had gave them a cut they were happy with. This time we had Aldo and Diego. I showed them each a picture of what each boy wanted and they delivered a cut to the standard we were hoping for. My youngest son had a particular type of style that he wanted. Diego made sure that he understood all the things he needs to do while styling his hair to give him the look he wants after getting his haircut. This went a little above and beyond my expectation. I would recommend both Aldo or Diego! General Customer Service: 4/5 One cool thing at this shop is that they usually offer you a water, beer, shot or other beverages they may have available. This is something that is always nice to enjoy when you're getting a cut or waiting for someone to get their haircut. However, sometimes it's hit and miss if it's offered. If they don't offer it, it's likely just because they forgot to that time. But, this doesn't happen often. The main reason I am giving this a 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because most of the time they don't take card or Venmo for payment. (However, this is barber specific. So, different barbers that work here might accept these forms of payment.) They do have an ATM here though if you need cash. But, it can be a bit frustrating if you weren't prepared and didn't show up with cash. Overall, I would recommend this shop! It's a fun vibe with an energetic staff that makes everyone feel welcome! read more

This place is all that. Great cuts, friendly staff, & good vibes! Would highly recommended;

I scheduled an appointment online, which was super easy. Before the haircut I told them liked the length of my hair and just wanted to thin and texturize my hair. I showed them a picture of a mid-length hairstyle. Long story short, the barber ended up giving me an undercut and cut inches off my hair on the back and sides. By the time I noticed, it was too late. It doesn't help that you can't see what the barber is doing because they face you away from the mirror. Also, they trimmed my sideburns an inch higher than I had them, so I have a gap with no blending between beard and hairline, except for the random hairs they left. I'm so confused by this haircut. The person cutting my hair was nice and friendly, but this is one of the worst haircuts I've ever gotten. read more

I have to come here and give Julian a shout out... I had long hair for 13 years and tried five or six different barbers before I landed on Julian... Needless to say I've gone back about 4 times now and every time it's a home run and my last cut was my absolute favorite. Los Barberos is the place to be. My sons favorite place and I can't stop recommending people to come here. The environment is chill and comfortable for all. My son goes to see Adan and honestly his customer service is above and beyond. Can truly hold a conversation with my 9 year old, which says a lot since other shops would either cut his hair in silence or have the most outrageous conversation with one another. (I get it it's a barber shop, but mad respect to Adan for his great conversations with my kid) The team is respectful and offers something to drink whenever you get in. I was looking for a new barber for my 2 sons. Someone who not only cuts hair well, but who could give them a style cut. I decided to check out Los Barberos based on the ratings and reviews. I booked them both with Julian and am SO happy that I did. He listened to what they wanted and he asked questions to make sure he got the details right. He did an amazing job!!! I can see that he is very skilled and likes to perfect his work. Both of my sons love their haircut and have received many compliments. I highly recommend Julian!! Also, I watched the other barbers in this shop while I was waiting and I can see that they are all skilled. Great environment, friendly and quality work. read more

Do you have an amazing time getting your hair cut? ..Yes? Then go to Los Barberos. It's right up your alley. ..No? Then go to Los Barberos. You need a new barber, obviously. I booked a cut for my nephew with Jorge. The Aunties rolled in with nephew & grandma in tow. My nephew was down for a new look, so Jorge did him up with the fresh mullet he wanted. Meanwhile, my sister and I were welcomed to the in house bar, where we chopped it up with some of the other barbers & their family members, who just swung by to hang out. Jorge ensured the cut was perfect, and made last-minute alterations to ensure it was just what everyone voted for. My nephew was so happy with his new look! Snapchats were immediately sent to friends. In sum: the vibe is hip, the atmosphere convivial, the Aunties will 1000% be back. Thanks, y'all, for such great afternoon stop! read more

This place is really top notch! I brought my teenaged son here to get his haircut after him not doing anything to it for a year! He saw Aldo who took the time to listen to what he envisioned and created a haircut for him that looks great! Their shop is very clean and modern. They have a nice comfortable waiting area. Music was fun and a big screen they had the women's soccer game on. Best part, they offer drinks to their customers. I loved seeing a guy kick back and relax with a beer while he got his haircut. I am a first-time customer, and I'm so happy with the results. I didn't think to go to a barber shop before since I've always had longer hair and went to hair salons, but since undergoing cancer treatment, I've lost all my hair, and now it's finally growing back. My hair is about 1.5 inches long now, but the sides and back needed some shaping, so I decided to give this place a try. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by one of their employees and offered something to drink. I couldn't pass up on a nice cold beer. I didn't have an appointment, but they were able to schedule me with Aldo for a slot 2 hrs later. I showed some photo references and said I wanted a pixie cut with the top part untouched, so it could grow out. Aldo helped me bring in the sides and gave me a nice fade on the back/neck area. He blended everything nicely and made sure I was fully satisfied with the results before I paid. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back! read more
