My usual barber wasn't free and I needed a cut asap so I gave this spot a chance With that being said though, I asked for a medium bald fade and basically walked out with a 50 dollar bowl cut. The cut looked alright when he showed me the side of my head with his mirror but I had only glanced at the mirror real quick and didn't really inspect the results. It wasn't until I got out the shower and saw my reflection that I truly realized how far off my cut was from what I asked for. I hate putting this out there as he was such a cool dude but if you have my type of hair I really suggest going elsewhere as this was nowhere close to a fade and I basically have to wear a hat for a month now.

I had a very disappointing experience at Bello's Barber Shop with Arturo Zavala…read more The initial contact was friendly. He asked about my previous barber, and I explained that my barber is generally good with hair. Since this shop has good ratings, I decided to try it, expecting a high-quality hair and beard cut. Unfortunately, the result was far from that. One side of my hair was noticeably longer than the other, my head was covered with cut hair, there were uneven cuts around the ear level, and the beard trim was extremely basic, something I already do myself at home. I was charged $55 for this. Because the cut looked so bad, I had to go to my regular barber afterward and pay another $30 just to fix it. In total, a simple hair and beard cut cost me $85, which was very frustrating. I do not recommend this barber and will not be returning.

BARBER Honestly, it does take awhile to find your "go-to" barber, had to trial and error a few places once I moved to Concord (used to reside around Union City to San Jose Area and Vallejo). Jaydakris has a fine eye to detail, and always makes sure that you leave looking nice and fresh! Additionally, he would also give his opinions and suggestions for your cuts just in case you want to change it up, if you decide to go with it, he will not disappoint! CUSTOMER SERVICE There are some barbershops I have been to where you sit down, and no one else greets or asks if you have an appointment. When I come here, I did get acknowledged that I was here for a hair cut, so I do give points for that! BARBERSHOP Location is in the corner of a plaza within Concord, can't miss it, lots of parking. The store it self is well kept, has hanging art work and posters. The color scheme is Red and Black. If you're looking for a cut, try Breds barbershop out, Jaydakris is amazing! If you can't get in with him, I am sure all his other barbers are great. 5 stars overall!

Which isn't a walk in the park for him. So we decided to Yelp some local places. I couldn't find one so I was recommended by my friend to check out her friends barber shop local to our home. (7 mins away!) I called around lunch to schedule a hair cut for my Son who is starting 7th grade this week. I was greeted by a gentleman who asked day & approximately time for a cut, after I said I needed the cut for today, he responded with they usually don't do same day appointments. I won't lie my heart skipped a beat, dreadfully because I didn't want to disappoint my Son. However instantly he said "I can book you today @ 7pm." I booked my Son's appointment with Tall Lou. He was great, very skilled, and good timing. Walking out my Son instantly said "he is very good I like him, I can trust him with my hair! We will def come back" Made my evening pleasing my Son.
