It's a cute salon that is clearly meant for kids with balloons, bejeweled mirrors, glitter water globes, and kids movies. $45 for a cut as of Jan 2026. Girls get a cool hairdo style after the cut. Great place for people to take their kiddos for their first cuts because she gives you a photo and certificate and a pouch with some of the hair. A toddler had their first cut before us and the parents were so pleased. Recommend this salon for the quality.

I took my 18 month old excited because of the cute seats, chose not to read reviews even though I saw the rating due to a recommendation (that I later found out was 12 years old lol) I explained I didn't want much taken off just a trim to even out the mullet. She starts with scissors my son is doing fine then she pulls out a pair of clippers and my husvand and I look at each other but unfortunately didn't have time to say anything before she buzzes my sweet boys hair. He's sobbing all freaked out by the buzzer. She's upset because he won't stay still. "really??? Really?" She repeatedly says to my son. She grabs him by his cheeks extremely hard to get him still. I grab my son to make him more comfortable. She's upset by that. My husband feels guilty not saying something. I feel guilty. But what do you do in a matter of seconds?? All in all. Sure. He does have a decent hair cut. He looks cute. She got the job done. As soon as I walked outside I started crying. She manhandled my baby, and I now feel guilty for letting it happen I guess this first time mom just wanted a sweet moment getting my son his first haircut. Please read the reviews when it comes to your kid. Don't be a goof like me and mess up. And yay I have a Polaroid photo of my family and a lock of his hair. I appreciate that. But seriously - message to the woman who cut my son's hair, a little kindness, patience and actual listening will go a long way for your business.

I left the same review on Google, but I look on Yelp most of the times for reviews on businesses,…read moreso I'm doing on here as well. Run, don't walk if you're Polynesian and ready to see your curls live their best life with Caroline! I've always been nervous about getting my curls done and usually just defaulted to straightening, but I'm so glad my partner nudged me to book with her after we found her on social media. I've never seen my curls this defined. Not only did she style my hair beautifully, she took the time to teach me how to care for it myself and even had me snap photos of the products she used. After the appointment, she followed up with videos walking through the steps because, let's be honest, I forgot half of what she told me the second I left I seriously can't recommend her enough. It was also such a fun bonus that she's Tongan like me! She's warm, welcoming, and super open to feedback, which meant a lot since I've had stylists in the past get weird about that. My hair ended up a little bigger than I'm used to, and when I asked if we could tone it down and switch up the part, she was completely receptive. Not only did she happily adjust it, she thanked me for speaking up and said her goal is always for clients to leave loving their hair. Anyway, I know this is long, but she's truly incredible. Go see her! Luseane

Caroline is my hair soulmate! Sis, no matter what hair texture you have, come see Caroline and get…read morethe haircut + detox bundle. You will leave with better hair and a renewed state of mind - unbothered, moisturized, happy, focused, flourishing. You are worth it. All my life I thought I had straight hair with a natural tendency to frizz. It wasn't until recently that I suspected that I had wavy hair, and a close look in the mirror showed me that I had a loose wave pattern. Although I showed up at my previous hairdresser with my natural texture, she still styled it straight, and so I knew I needed a curl specialist. I found the Lush Curls salon through Yelp. I first scheduled an in-person consultation to (1) confirm if my hair was textured enough for a "curly" cut, and (2) get a feel of how Caroline was as a person. Not only did she confirm that I had wavy hair, more importantly she was super sweet and nice! I was so excited to get to my haircut, which we scheduled a week after. My haircut appointment felt more like a spa retreat than a regular cut/wash/style. For one, the salon is in a quiet corner of the building, and I was the only client there which my introvert self really appreciated. The haircut came first, a dry cut where Caroline worked with the layers I already had, as I was growing out a year old shag cut. We had already talked about the hair length and cut during the consult, so this went really quickly. Next came my favorite part, where I got a shampoo and detox/deep conditioning hair mask. During the shampoo, Caroline really got her hands in there and gave me a scalp massage so relaxing the rest of me melted into a mass of happy jelly. I'm pretty sure my mind went back to joyful childhood memories, it was that good. But she wasn't done with me! Next came a detox and deep conditioning hair mask, WITH STEAM. That magical steam soaked my hair but also gently flowed to my face and I was all about this free facial! Yay! (Note: Caroline also offers the scalp treatment (with the life changing massage) separately. I'm planning to do that in between haircuts.) After Caroline woke me up from that blissful experience, it was time for the styling. She showed me what products she will be using (I took pictures), how to use them and in what order. She gave me a mirror so I can watch her apply hair foam section by section behind my head, and also to see how she diffused my hair dry. She had me lean forward later on as part of the diffuse dry process. By the time she was done, I WAS SHOOK. The good kind of shook. I didn't really have expectations on what my hair would do, maybe a loose wave here and there. There were waves everywhere!!! What shocked me the most was that I had ringlets in there too! Such a happy surprise. Caroline's magic handz brought forth what I didn't think even existed with my "straight" hair. As soon as I got home I sent my sister a picture of my curly haired self. She asked me if I was running for office. Maybe it's the red balloons on the side (from a kid birthday party), but I'd like to think it's my new curly hair rizz, thanks to Caroline!

I already knew a few ladies who've gone here and loved it, so I felt confident bringing my daughter in. The salon is easy to find, tucked into a corner plaza with plenty of parking and wheelchair accessibility. We had a 5:30 PM appointment, and I was a little worried we might have to wait since there were about seven walk-ins ahead of us. But Winnie confirmed our spot right away and sent us to a stylist at the end station. While we waited, I watched Winnie cut a gentleman's hair--clean, precise, and quick--which impressed me so much that I signed my son up for a cut on the spot and canceled his other appointment. Both kids left with fresh, perfectly done cuts. The stylists here are efficient, they listen, and they work fast without sacrificing quality. You can tell the place is popular--lots of women were getting their hair done too. It's rare to find a salon with these prices and this level of service these days. Definitely a hidden gem for quick, quality cuts and layers. It's also well after 6PM (closing time) and people are still waiting for their turn. They didn't turn anyone away after closing time. Customer service is so sweet also :)

I also had bangs that were slightly uneven so I asked her to fix that. The lady who cut my hair asked if I wanted I blow out, I told her no, I wanted to walk out with wet hair to see how it would dry naturally since that's what I do regularly. She was apprehensive but I was firm that drying naturally was what I wanted and that I didn't want to the appointment to take longer due to drying. She cut a good 8 inches off, the left and right sides were different lengths, the layers were super choppy, random, and uneven. The ends were not thinned out how I wanted and she didn't touch my bangs. At the end she said "I know you didn't want a blow out but I'm going to do it anyway" literally. She curled the ends and when I left I noticed the ends were uneven. I don't know if she curled them thinking I wouldn't notice but it was hard to miss. I was really sad to lose that much of my length since it took me so long to grow out and I wasn't expecting to get it cut, only a trim which by the way was $90 (partly because the cut was an hour and drying was another whole hour so I had to pay for 2 hours even though I didn't want the blow out) but I went back in because it was too bad to wear in public and this was less than a week before Christmas. I went back in, I told her my hair was really choppy, she said "well you asked for layers" I told her "but this isn't layers this is random pieces of different length, there are longer pieces on top of shorter pieces. She got really defensive and said I kept "moving my head." No I didn't and even if that had been true blaming the customer is just a really bad way to run a business when I'm just asking it to get fixed. I told her I wanted my bangs fixed as well and because they were uneven, she said "you came in like that" I told her "I know but I wanted you to fix them" during this argument the manager came in and had me sit down, he told me they could fix it and had another girl start working on my layers, he said that he would take care of the bangs. The Second Lady working on my hair in my opinion was really rude, she pointed out some grey hairs and I said "I know I have more of them in other places" she said "how old are you?" I told her 25 and she made a face that seemed extremely judgmental. I also notice while she was cutting my hair, she held the scissors and comb in the same hand and while combing my hair I saw her accidentally cut pieces an inch away from my scalp and I felt the scissors tug as I saw her wave LONG pieces of hair away multiple times. She also kept commenting on how thick and tangly my hair was which felt insulting. As I was in there the second time, TWO other customers came in separately saying they were coming back because they had issues with how their hair had been done, the manager didn't respond with "ok let's fix it" even when I noticed the customer wasn't trying to argue they were willing to pay more they just wanted more done, but the manager was very defensive about explaining "this is how it's done" blah blah blah when in my opinion it would have been better to say "what you asked for is ____ this is what we did but if you want more than that would be ____ it will cost more to get you want you want but we can definitely do that if that's what you want". By the time I was done I had been in there for over 2 hours just with the second time I went. I didn't have any layers when I left they basically just cut my length to the shortest piece the first girl left me with which made my ends sprawl out since I had really thick hair and my hair was about boob length now, my bangs had more heft but I didn't like the way they framed my face, to be honest I just wanted to get out of there, I had clearly made a huge mistake going back. When you go to a hair stylist, make sure you go to a place where you know they will LISTEN to what you want, not do some random stuff or get defensive when you asked for something different. I didn't take a picture of my hair after the second appointment, the length wasn't badly cut it just wasn't what I asked for, not thinned or layered at all, and like 13 inches shorter than what I wanted, I've had it cut since then by a hair stylist who LISTENS to what you ask for.
