After getting there early, my intuition said they would not show, and of course at the appointed time, they did not show. I waited just in case and hoping they would call. No one contacts me so I reach out to the company. They tell me that exactly my appointment time, the drivers got stranded on the side of the road. Of all coincidences! They need time to figure out what's going on. After 20 mins, I follow up asking if they are going to make it? They say maybe but maybe I want to reschedule? First of all let me say this is the 3rd and FINAL time that I will be using Larry at BELL MONEY WINDOW TINT. First two cars were fine and he was professional ... this time not so much . I had and APPT at 10am on 04/09/2022. I pull into garage as again I had an appt. I had to wait as he wasnt ready supposedly running behind while he cleaned his shop. Shouldnt you be keeping the shop clean? Just saying He had me back out while he cleaned. Then he starting working on my car with his son (watch out for this ) as he is new to this field of work and not exactly experienced. While working on my car Larry states he needs to leave to go and pick up someone leaving his son again who is inexperienced and new doing my car. Larry returns with another guy who are all working on my car and RUSHING me out as they had another customer come in . As you can see the work that was supposedly done right is absolute trash. I since then have tried reaching out to Larry later on that afternoon after returning home only to find bubbles and confirm that they would smoothe out after drying... again tried reaching out on 4/12 only to NOT get a single response. He finally responds with "ill keep you updated when im available" I contact him again on GOOD FRI and SAT before easter to hopefully set up something for HIM and HIM only to redo my tint... another excuse.... im not avoiding just super busy... Well .... make time for your paying customers and provide the SERVICE you claim to be professional blah blah blah. When i tell him i only want him to redo as thats the right thing to do... "you say that everytime but yeah i got you... then after this ill refer you to a guy who can take better care of you and your requirements. Excuse me? I asked for a refund and or to replace my tint in which i paid for . he proceeds to say I dont and wont ever give refunds after physical labor... LOL that HE didnt do. such a joke... Also if you expect these guys to CLEAN anything you got another thing coming. you bring your car in there spotless inside and out ( i even washed the car before bringing it in) When i asked about the streaks on the inside ... "the streaks cant be controlled if we are using water to install the tint.. Thats like asking God to make it rain without getting things wet. UM YOU CAN TAKE A RAG AND WIPE THAT SHIT UP and not leave your customers to clean up after you. Also be fair warned they smoke weed up in there and it wreaks so if you have kids that you have to bring with you be mindful. if you want to smell a constant odor of weed, the lack of customer service, have a half assed job presented to you that they wont commit to your appt time and or a unreliable business then by all means thats on you .... you have been warned DO NOT come here . I don't really know what I was expecting from this place. I called this place and a guy answered right away already offering me to go extremely quickly and told me it was going to be $200 right off the bat. I said ok because with my work schedule is hefty and Sunday worked best for me. He said $200 flat for the "CERAMIC TINT" which I thought was a little pricey but that wasn't the issue. I just bought a new Honda Accord that I love. My boyfriend and I get there super sketchy place right off the bat I felt something was off and I almost felt like I was in some harms way giving them the keys to my new car. I've experienced previous window tint places where they have made my car smell like cigarettes, as I've read reviews this "BUSINESS" clearly smoke weed luckily my car didn't smell. But everything else went to SHIT! I noticed bubbling as soon as I left, one other guy said if you see bubbles just use a credit card to get it out. The exterior of my car had water leak marks. Larry came over around 1130 am and did ceramic tint on both my Honda Pilot front widows and my entire brand new truck. Overall, pretty sloppy from leaving the tint film trash being left in my yard, car, and garage, to leaving the entire interior of my truck and honda filthy with overspray. I have no clue how this company has a high rating. Do not take your car here. They slap tint on your window and do not trim it correctly or cut the pieces. There was literally 1" of material over the window and over the door frame. The tint started falling off within 3 days. After repeatedly calling and texting for 4 days to get a time to come and get it fixed, we showed up and the guy said "too bad, that's why it is cheap. I'm not fixing it" So after showing the problems he agreed to fix it. But he didn't fix the window with the problem and he replaced a window with even worse tint. DAMAGES TO VEHICLE! FRAUDULENT! DISHONORABLE! DECEITFUL! I took my brand-new vehicle to him hours after purchasing it from the dealer. He was the first person besides me to put hands on my vehicle and it goes down as one of the worst decisions I've ever made. He did the tint twice with my permission and the third without my permission . The first round happened, and I was appalled. There were scratches all over the tint! Pieces were not cut correctly. Tint was put over the stickers! You will see from the pictures. He said for me to bring the vehicle back and he would do a better job. His son helped him which he used as a scapegoat for the bad job. He assured me that the warranty would cover the second job and that he, and only him, would be doing the job so it would be perfect. I took my vehicle back and when I went to pick up my vehicle, it reeked of weed! There were gashes made to the interior around the windows, melted window seal from his heat gun and there were scratches all over the tint again! At this point I was done. My brand-new vehicle that I've had for a couple of days now had damages! This is not okay! The total lack of respect for another person's property is crossing the line. I called him and he said that if I allowed him, he would come take a look at the vehicle and make sure to do it right again. I said no. I said I wanted a full refund, and he said the only way that could happen is if he took off the tint. We agreed to these terms. He called me back and said that he wanted to make this right. He conveyed that he was understanding, apologetic and knew he messed up. Because I did not want this man or any of his workers near my car. I suggested he Venmo me my money and I would send proof of tint removal when I went to another facility. Shops are charging $100 - $120 for tint removal to which I would have paid because I did not want any more damage done to my car. Larry refused and said that he would need to take off the tint. I met him, and he said it would take 3 - 4 hours. 3 hours later, he backs my car up and a new tint job is on the car! I was furious. This was a complete violation! He not only went behind my back and was deceptive in his intentions, but he inflicted more damage to my vehicle! He burned and singed my windows with his heat gun, made new gashes in the interior, gashed, and scratched my vehicle more! This deceptive man even used a sharpie to fill in a whole from a part of the window that the tint did not cover! He was upset now that he wasted material and time, so he ripped off all the tint. He stated that my car was not a Maserati and that there's no such thing as a perfect tint. We were past that. Scratches on every window and damage done to a vehicle is inexcusable and reckless. This is not 17 years of experience. He stated that mistakes happen, as if the scratches on every window and damage done to my vehicle was okay. He told me he was not going to be able to refund me fully because of the labor and materials. The conversation we had on the phone and agreed upon terms of removing the tint and giving a full refund was now not an option. By now, I realized he was in the hole and was going to use every possible shifty tool in his box to not pay me. My brand-new car had now received damages not by its owner or by natural wear and tear but from another person due to a lack of respect! Any reasonable person would see it this way. This conman downplayed and justified the damages by stating the purpose of his insurance are for damages like these and that vehicles are depreciating assets! Are you kidding me!? This is the story he has come up with to disconnect and disassociate himself from the physical damage inflicted on a brand-new vehicle!? The fact of the matter is that this guy had no intention of refunding me because he did not have the cash! The truth is that his business finances are run the same way his business is - disorganized, untrustworthy, deceptive, unprofessional and unreliable. Any reasonable and seasoned business owner would acknowledge the gravity of these errors and refund the customer fully! Would pay for the damages to the vehicle and do all they could to make it right. All I wanted was a full refund. I wanted nothing to do with him after all the damages! His solution was to have him work out the warranty and redo my tint. It would be a huge error for myself or anyone to let the person who inflicted damage to your property another chance to "fix" the problem. One mistake may happen, like a stubborn bubble or maybe one missed scratch on the tint. Damages to a vehicle, continued scratches to the product, and a complete lack of respect for your clients time and property is blatantly corrupt. UPDATE: Plot thickens! Found damage on my interior panel, not even on the windows which is still inexcusable. I didn't think this place could be any worse, but we contacted SunTek about the "lifetime warranty" provided to us, since Larry loves advertising that he's sponsored by them. Turns out, he's not even authorized to sell the product he claimed he installed on our car. We paid for ceramic tint (this is written on the invoice he gave us, as well as the warranty card) - SunTek said he's not authorized to sell ceramic and that he doesn't even purchase it from them. We got the tint corrected and when it was removed, it was confirmed that it was just purple dyed film - ZERO HEAT REJECTION even though it's supposed to be the highest. Larry's out here selling "ceramic" to all his customers and instead installing some cheap film that looks like crap. He'll say whatever he can to make it seem like he's right and you're wrong - completely delusional and no way to run a business. 100% verified scammer! -- We set an appointment and Larry showed up late with an employee, who had a blunt in his mouth. He offered a lifetime warranty and reassured us that if there was any issue at all, we could bring it back and have it corrected. He also kept emphasizing that he had 18 years of experience - really sad if this is what 18 years of experience gets you. After discussing, he told us we could wait because it would be done in 15 minutes. I told him he could take his time and he was cocky, saying "That IS taking my time." 45 minutes later, it's done. Right away, I noticed many flaws and overall, it looked like a sloppy mess. There was spray dripping all over my doors, into my speaker. There were huge air bubbles all over each window so I asked him to smooth them out. His employee came out (the one with the blunt) with a dead expression, scraped vigorously, then walked in. Also, there was a small sticker that came with my car that I hadn't removed - instead of even asking if it should be removed (common sense), he put the tint over it so now it's trapped in the window. Did I mention there was marijuana odor in my car when I got it back? After the employee "fixed" the air bubbles, we told Larry that there were still a lot of noticeable bubbles/scratches everywhere. He told us we should wait 3 days, then everything will smooth out and look fine. Again, giving him the benefit of the doubt, we thanked him and agreed to bring it back if needed. 3 days later, we text Larry and a few hours go by so we give him a call. He asks us to come in at 4 PM but since we had work, we asked if 5:15 worked. He agreed and told us to meet him then. We arrive, wait 15 minutes and give him a call - he says he's far away and that he would arrive by 5:45. Since we had time, we went to get fast food 5 minutes away and made it back by 5:45. Sure enough, 6:00 rolls around and he's still not here. We text and call a few times - he doesn't pick up. Then we get a text from a completely random number saying since they close at 6, they won't have time to work on my car and that we need to reschedule. Larry initially assured us that he would meet us, saying he's the owner and he could work past business hours. We weren't even expecting our car to be done right away, we just wanted him to come speak with us and take a look. A few more minutes go by and he continues to ignore us. After completely wasting our time, we text him saying it was unprofessional of him to not show up, not even having the decency to return our calls/texts. He calls back and cuts us off continuously without letting us get a word in, speaking louder and louder. We told him we wasted our time waiting almost an hour and he shifts the blame on us, saying we don't know how to read our texts (even though he was contradicting everything he said and we have proof of all of this) and kept saying he was busy with other things. We ask for a refund, saying it's not worth getting it redone and he says there are "DEFINITELY no refunds" (this was stated on the invoice but we figured after all this, any decent business owner would provide a refund). He says that since we drove away, it was our own fault. We left to grab food since he said it would take him 15 minutes - what kind of logic is this? Not letting us get a word in, he says "HAVE A GOOD DAY" and hangs up. I've never experienced anything so unprofessional in my entire life. A lot of the positive reviews must be fake because there's no way in hell this is a legitimate business. They don't even have the name of their business on their front door so we didn't know where to go at first. Upon looking around the Round Rock-Austin area for a decent price on tint I found this place. I found that they also had a listing on Groupon for $137.60, I did not pay for the tint on Groupon but rather I was told that if I brought a picture of the Groupon that they would have me pay for it there however when I was advised to set an appointment it had me pay on the site "setmore". Once the appointment had been set I didn't receive an invoice for payment so I was slightly worried but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. We showed up at 6pm the following day only to find that there were two people ahead of us already. I'm fine with waiting typically so this had not really bothered me. We took a 90min trip to Target and came back only to find that my car was just then being worked on. So we waited another 90 mins for my vehicle to be done, now all this going on I knew that something was up when we came into the waiting area and it smelled like someone had taken 15 rips off a bong. It was like a giant wall of just marijuana smell. I'm not against pot but in this line of work you need to focus when you're tinting a vehicle. Sufficed to say I still gave them the benefit of the doubt, when we returned from our trip to Target we ended up sitting in the waiting area as the previous couple had left. During our wait we heard the garage door close and we thought nothing of it of course. That is until we realized we could hear everything from the waiting area that they were discussing. We started to hear talk of marijuana purchase and to follow up to that we heard a lighter being flicked on repeatedly only to realize that the smell had actually returned. Again I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt which at this point seems ridiculous but hey some people can be high functioning on it. Once they were done, "Larry" indicated to me that I had not paid when in my bank account it clearly said $150 taken out. I had to physically show him the charge that went through and it seemed as if he did not believe his own eyes. He spoke about how Groupon is promoting false advertisement so on and so forth, so I said it's fine I don't need the discount even though we were informed the day prior that we could just show the picture of the Groupon and we'd be allowed to pay the amount listed on it. We ended up working out the payment process which seemingly took forever and almost seemed like they were trying to scam me out of another $150. I left there around 9pm and at this point in the dark it looked fine obviously however within the next 2 days I found that there were bubbles on the top part of not only my front two windows but the quarter panel windows had film coming off with massive air-bubbles. The only job that they had done that was okay I guess was the back glass and even that had bubbles in it. I texted his number listed on Google informing of the issue that I would just like the quarter panel windows fixed and about 3 days later I realize that he will not respond to my text or the pictures (Attached that I had sent) so I proceeded to message "Larry" asking if he had anything to say from the messages I sent prior and got a response back almost immediately saying that he was "Out of town" and would "Contact me" not giving a date of when I could come and get this issue rectified. I won the free tint rally and mayne i love the tint and i love how it was done. By far the most impressive installment done.

Horrible work!! He came out and did my truck in my garage, initially it looked great. In less than 24 hours it had bubbles, loose edges and dimples/distortion from glue remnants under the tint from the previous tint I paid him extra to remove. He did attempt to remedy the situation by coming back and redoing the job. The results of the second attempt are worse than the first time!! read more
