Located in the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh airport hotel lobby. Didn't have much of a choice but to eat here but it was a solid meal. The crab cakes were nice. They tasted fresh and homemade. Decent sized portion too. The citrus salmon was good. The risotto was a little too thick. There were some steamed vegetables that came with it. Enjoyed my broccoli soup too. Had high hope walking into this place. Sat at the bar and ordered old fashioned which hands down was one of the worst old fashioned drinks I ever had. Food was just ok. The portobello mushroom salad came out very basic and was served on a rectangular flat plate. This establishment is poorly run. It looks nice inside but the service can use improvement. I ordered fries and literally 5 mins later the fries came out. ( well the fries were warm. Not hot like they came out of a fryer. They were just sitting under a heat lamp. ) I was hungry so I just ate it. First mistake. The next morning I went to the buffet. I should've asked to see it before I sat down. Nothing was hot. I went around 11. Everything looked picked over. Noone made sure the set up looked presentable. The server/ attendant in the area did not have an eye for detail. Make sure the bread container looks full and organized. Make sure the fruit board looks delightful. If the guacamole starts to brown stir it. Or add lime juice. No of that happened. It just looked up kept. Now this was around 11. I know when they first open things are fine but it is not kept up. The ice on the milk for the cereal was melted. The hot plates were not hot. The potatoes were cold. I ordered hot eggs with cheddar and from the looks of it they did not crack an egg and scramble cheese in it. It looked like chopped eggs from the buffet and they added butter and cheese. It was so much cheese in these eggs that it was edible. I learned my lesson. I do not need to spend my money here. Food temperature is very important. read more

It's a hotel restaurant bar that's in a hotel (Hyatt) connected to the Pittsburgh Airport. It's basically the only option without going back to the airport or leaving to a nearby bar/restaurant. We stopped in for a few drinks after a night of drinking and the choices were somewhat limited. Service was exceptionally slow which was frustrating, but that's kinda the norm these days. Once I saw how things were going, I decided on bottled beer just to be safe and quick. This hotel seems to mostly be flight crews and people who had their flights cancelled. It was probably busy since they can't really gauge how many people will be staying. Maybe when the weather is bad, the bring in more crew. The close at 11p so if you're watching a sporting event or something that's running late, plan on going back to your room and watching it. Would I go again, absolutely! Because if I stayed at the attached hotel, I wouldn't have a choice! And the other reviews of the food look like it's pretty good for that. read more

Had a wonderful dinner at Bellafarm in the Hyatt. I started with Pancetta Corn Chowder. Very flavorful with hints of pepper. For my entree, I enjoyed the Faroe Island Salmon over Risotto. It was cooked to perfection (nothing worse than over cooked salmon). I recommend the Bellafarm. read more

Well I wasn't expecting anything special, but I was expecting to pay a lot for a mediocre meal. Was I Wrong! The dishes I ordered tonight were top notch delicious. The flat bread with Italian sausage was perfectly done. The cold shrimp cocktail with a creamy dressing and then the dried tomatoes and the tasty cocktail sauce was to die for. Send me that recipe!! The NY strip steak was cooked perfect M-rare pan potato and perfectly cooked still 1/2 crunchy carrots. The last dish we ordered was the Belly Pork, this dish need some work. It was crunchy like it should be but the pasty stuffed roll was a bit over cooked and need a deeper flavor or something. All and all what a fine restaurant to have in the lobby of this Hyatt Hotel! I ordered the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and greens beans. The roasted chicken needs to be renamed to chicken jerky. It was so salty and dry that only half of it was edible, the green beans and mashed potatoes were ok. The bartender was busy so she never came by to ask about how the food was and when she did come by, she still didn't ask. It also came with a risotto and brussel sprouts.. nothing had taste. I went as far as to take the top off of the pepper shaker to add some type of flavor to the meal. This was rough one. Excellent decor on the inside, and the hostess was kind and welcoming. That's about ends my good experience there. Once I was seated, I didn't see my server for awhile. Multiple other servers walked past me, including the manager twice. I had to ask a busboy for a glass of water, since I attempted to wave the manager down, but he was occupied - and the two other servers avoided eye contact like a sex worker in - Catholic Church. Then my server finally showed up. She was a very sweet older lady, very nice, but moved with molasses. She saw I had a glass of water, and brought a second glass anyways... which later on I appreciated greatly... you'll understand in a moment. I ordered my meal. The soup and seafood fettuccine. The soup was wonderful. But the fettuccine was so over seasoned and spicy that it was borderline inedible. Now, I may be a ginger white boy from California, but god damnit I love spicy food. When I say this was over seasoned, it's like Salt Bae had a Pokémon battle with a Peppersaurous, and lost. Then the peppersaurous made babies on my fettuccine. Now, I just got done with a week long trip, I'm at the airport hotel restaurant, and I'm HUNGRY. So, I put on my big boy underwear, and try to get busy. 3 bites in, I'm actively sweating to the point I have water flowing down my spine. I mean... every pore in my body has now opened up and is giving its moist donation to the spice gods. Each bite was a bit of torture. 3 bites in. I've already consumed both glasses of water. I never saw my server again. I, once again, was forced to ask the damn busboy to get me a glass of water. This kid was the only saving grace. I'm writing this about 20 minutes after I finished eating, and my nose is still running, my lips are tingling and I know I'm going to pay for this meal soon.... Im dreading that it may come to haunt me on my flight. I'm not a small man, so the bowel movement battle is not going to be a pretty one in that pigmy sized bathroom these airlines give us. Let that visual settle in. I'm not one to complain about food that i order. Usually I'll eat what I get and move along, but this time I did mention it to the server when I saw her. Her comment "Well. You did eat some." Then walked away. Memaw doesn't play. I only had 3 bites Memaw! Ohhh, and now I need to wrap this up and get back to my hotel room.... I have a feeling. Hands down the worst meal I've had in a long time. Let me just say the staff were working their butts off! My server was great, and the manager was also clearly diving in to help the servers! But the food is not good. The caesar was chopped up romaine (dry) with parmesan on top. and a side of garlic dressing that i could pour over. The seafood linguini was literally a pound of linguini.....with the oiliest sauce i've ever seen with two shrimp, and two scallops that were cooked within an inch of their life. After eating it for a few bites I asked myself why I'm even eating this. It was so bad. I hope I don't get sick from it. $68 later I'm back in my hotel room, hungry and looking forward to McDonald's tomorrow morning before the flight. It'll be a serious upgrade. read more

We are here cause we were going to have a very early morning flight. We got the salmon which came with Risotto and Broccolini as well as the Pittsburgh Salad. We asked for the fries in the side, and it was delicious. The salmon and risotto were overly salt unfortunately but cooked well and it was semi edible. This is a very good hotel type of restaurant. Unfortunately you are kind of forced to eat here because this is an airport hotel which means alternatives are limited. As is expected the prices are more expensive than they should be and the service is very corporate. I ordered a filet for dinner cooked rare. The meat was of good quality and cooked perfectly. It is hard to get a perfectly cooked rare steak but they did a good job. I also had 3 glasses of Pinot Noir. I had the house version which was adequate, but definitely more affordable than the other wine offered. I had their breakfast as well. It was the typical hotel buffet. This is nothing special but pretty much the same as other hotel buffets. The bottom line is this is your typical hotel restaurant. It is generally good but overpriced with a definite corporate vibe. I will eat here when I stay at this hotel, but I would not seek it out. read more

Stayed at the Hyatt because of an early flight the next morning. Stopped in the Bellfarm bar to watch college football and have some beer and snacks. Our server, Sequoia was amazing and made our little pit stop a lot more fun! You must try the pretzels and cheese dip!! So good. The buffalo dip was also amazing. The cheeseboard was the surprise hit of the night. Mixing the blue cheese and honey was the difference maker. It's always the best when you don't have any expectations but you are blown away with good service and good food. read more

Nice job Hyatt! Of all the Hyatts I have stayed at this restaurant is by far the best, at least for food! The decor was modern with very nice table spacing that did not make me feel cramped. Brightly lit and rather spacious the place never became loud despite having fairly high ceilings and a good sized dinner crowd. I ordered a lemon drop martini and the fish and chips. Now, I'll admit I was envisioning what I had seen in most places - many little pieces of fish and some fries. Instead what came out was a very large fish fillet that was breaded very lightly and plenty of delicious fries. The fish was fantastic. It was cooked wonderfully, the breading was crisp and salty, and the fish itself was flaky. It was amazing. The service was below average. Our waitress came by only twice - to take our order and deliver the check. Someone else delivered the food and as I charged the food to the room I didn't even see who took the bill. Our water glasses and our martini glasses were emptied without anyone offering to refill our water or ask if we wanted another drink. No one else checked on us. I would normally be more forgiving if they were packed and extremely busy but they were only moderately busy and I saw plenty of staff, but they were rarely in the dining room instead frequently disappearing in the nearby kitchen often with nothing in hand and ignoring my pitiful attempts to flag someone down. The food was easily a 5, the drinks a 4, but the service was a 2 at best. read more

Had a quick overnight in Pittsburgh and stayed at the Hyatt connected to the airport which is incredibly convenient. Not a lot of options outside of the airport and the hotel restaurant. Overall, had a great experience. My server, Sequoia, was so sweet, though trying to figure out if everyone in Pittsburgh calls women "honey". Anyway, had a great Mediterranean salad chopped full of garbanzo beans, lentils, fancy olives, feta and cucumbers. Plus at $8 for a large salad, it was a total steal. They had some other items on their menu that looked really good. Also recommend the local "Church" brew if you are a fan of beer. read more

In town for the Steelers - Patriots game and stayed at this hotel. Love the decor and overall setting. The food was pretty good. We both had the burger with some fries. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly, funny, and efficient. The people working the bar were also great and they turned the TV to the Cub's game. For an airport hotel and bar, this place was pretty spectacular. I've been here numerous times as a guest of the Hyatt Regency, however last night I went down about 7pm to order some food. I wanted a quesadilla but with steak instead of chicken. The server advised me that she did not know how they would right it up. I told her that I would just take the burger instead. She takes my order and I sit and wait for about an hour before she says she'll go check on my food. She brings the food in a to go container. I pay for my meal which did not have the discounts that I was promised and went back up to my room. I went to my room to find that my burger was. missing lettuce and tomatoes and it was cold, It had been sitting out for who knows how long before it was brought to me. I honestly would have done better getting something to eat at the airport. read more

Legitimately, some of the worst food we've had in a long time. Six people ordered six different items, none were good. The fried fish was obviously frozen and about as waterlogged as I've ever seen. The sausage special was the least special food my poor father-in-law has had in years. The salmon was dry and the sweet potato hash served with it was bland and obviously also from frozen potatoes. The chicken sandwich dry and disgusting. French fries were old, I really can't say enough bad things about our meal. Oh wait! Yes I can, totally overpriced and almost all premade frozen food. You should consider firing your chef, because nothing good is coming out of that kitchen. Even the desserts were all premade and frozen. It's obvious whoever is in charge of the kitchen has given up on life, doesn't care at all and should probably go back to whatever hispital they came from. We stayed at the attached hotel for a dance competition and came downstairs for dinner. The place is very modern and welcoming. They had a buffet; the food was all very fresh, warm, and delicious! Above is a photo of the desserts, which were all equally yummy. Our waitress, Diane, was extremely accommodating to one of the family members that has food allergies. The restaurant itself is allergy-friendly; it does not cook any of its food in peanut oil. Definitely will come back for breakfast or dinner again before the trip is over! Thank you Diane! I traveled to Pittsburgh on business last week. Traveling from California is not easy. It was my first visit, so I asked a rental car agent if there is any restaurant serving a breakfast ( it was close to noon) or should I get a deli sandwich at a shop in the airport facility. I was advised to go to Hyatts. He was right about it. Among all the Hyatts I have stayed, this restaurant is by far the best for the price! The space between tables is spacious enough to leave my suitcase. I got a cup of coffee immediately. It was really good. I decided to take a buffet. Every item was fantastic. Sausage, pancakes, eggs, Cheese casserole hash brown and bacon were cooked wonderfully. I believe $18 plus sales tax is reasonably priced, especially considering that this restaurant is located in the airport Hyatts. The service was super good. My waitress came by many times to make sure everything is OK. It is very rare to get a good service at restaurants located in the airport hotel. Travelers at the airport are captive audience. I am very happy that I did not grab a cold deli sandwich at the airport convenience store. After my presentation, my business partner in Pittsburg liked me and invited me to come back soon. We stayed at the Hyatt at the Pittsburgh airport. We went to Bellfarm for a late dinner and it was wonderful. The watermelon and burrata appetizer was delightful. Our girls liked the chicken tenders from the kids menu, and my husband couldn't stop talking about how comfortable the chairs were. Towards the end of the evening, the manager came to check on us and chatted with us for a bit. We really enjoyed it, and highly recommend! read more
