3 stars because the haircut and blow out was actually nice and done well but the hairdresser had ZERO personality. Jennifer gave me a nasty attitude, when I asked a recommendation she responded with "I guess" for everything.. I understand life is tough but your job is to do hair and have a semi personality to make tips. Mind you, I was on time, a simple wash, trim and blow out and I even asked if she preferred cash or venmo as her tip. Her reply "I don't care" then proceed to ask for her venmo and asked if she received the tip and she said "no it's fine" and walked away... All in all the owners are so sweet and other hair dressers are great to talk with and have a personality. Jennifer gets a 0/5 star for a piss poor attitude and gossiping/mocking clients.. read more

0 stars or even negative would do. ***DO NOT GO HERE*** *** WORST EXPERIENCE VERY RUDE *** A while back around January, I went to this place because it was in my neighborhood. I did not go there by recommendation. I just saw while driving past then I checked their page looked like a decent place to go. I tried to get an appointment with Giuliana because she is the best there as much as I have seen from the pictures posted on Instagram. So when I called they said she was booked up but their other specialists were equally good. The manager lady told me that I was in good hands with Johny so I said ok book me up. I went for consultation and went for my appointment 2 or 3 days later. Johnny did my hair. He is not a rude or a bad person but his style needs little more work. Long story short it was a mistake to go to him. My hair turned out extremely blunt. There was a huge line in between the colors blend was awful single process color that was done before balayage was 2-3 tones was darker than my existing hair which was not desired or asked by me. My hair looked like shadow root was done until the mid section of my hair then chunk of balayages it was bad. Some packages somehow was not completely lifted and turned out like bleach didn't touch them. There was some balayage missing in my neck area that after explained to me that might have been slipped from the foil or whatever. Overall it was done terribly. Even he did not like it himself when I was getting a cut after he was done he called me back to his chair tried to fix some more but still it did not work. And paid $400 for this. Because Olga cut my sons hair nicely and I did like that the salon was clean I thought why not give it another change but with another stylist preferably Guilaina. So I had called earlier yesterday morning to have a consult with Kim instead because Guiliana was all booked again and they told me that they had a consultation appointment today at 6:45pm and that the hairdresser had another appointment at 7:00. I just moved to this place and was looking for a good salon, my hair is long and it usually needs a basic hair cut. So I found this place based on the reviews on yelp and decided to get a basic hair cut. As soon as you enter the front office is very sweet, if there is a wait ( which there was none ) there is coffee for refreshment. I got my hair cut from Jessica and I loved it ! She is really sweet and great at her job. I am still to try hair coloring which I would do soon. I do recommend this place if you need a good hair cut. read more

This place was absolutely terrible. I came in for a glaze and TRIM and whatever they put in my hair didn't do anything. When I asked the woman to cut off less than an inch of my hair for a TRIM she cut off at least 5 inches. I am never going here again and have never ever been to a worse salon. read more

This review is for the side of the salon that does manicures. JUST DON'T GO HERE!!! On my third attempt at trying to get an available time here, I was finally able to book an available appointment. Upon entering, a gentleman, I believe the owner, greeted me nicely and walked me to the front desk. The receptionist showed me where the rest room was located & also pointed me in the direction of the nail stations. While choosing a color (may want to add a few more shades of purple btw) a woman walked by, said hello & then walked away. I sat at a table in the corner staring at the empty chair across from me for almost 10 minutes! No one came to check on me, or bothered to introduce themselves as the manicurist. Not even "I'll be right with you, I'm finishing up with someone else." I am very upset with the completely rude and unprofessional way I was treated here! When I make an appointment I expect the business to honor it. I understand sometimes appointments can vary, but it wasn't overly busy and there is no excuse to let a client just sit for almost 10 minutes with absolutely no explanation. So much for a relaxing manicure before a dinner date on a Friday night. I strongly advise anyone else to skip this place! read more

I went to Bellezza Salon for the second time to get a touch up for my balayage a few months ago and my stylist was very unprofessional. She let me leave the salon with wet hair so that she could go to lunch with her friend (another girl who works at the salon). When I asked whether she could blow dry it she told me she doesn't have anyone in the entire salon who can help me with a blow dry. I've never been told that I should leave a salon with soaking wet hair before...for the prices here that is absolutely unacceptable. read more

I've been coming to Bellezza for about 3 years now. I've had my hair colored by Donna & Dana and Dana does my cuts. I've also had blow outs by a number of different stylists. I have very long, full, curly & hard-to-manage hair but every time I go to Bellezza I walk out feeling like a supermodel! They do a fantastic job! Dana always knows what I'm looking for & executes it flawlessly. In addition, she gives me great tips for in between care. I had a bridal iPod and a number of special occasion styles done as well...each time, perfect! Dana also cuts my 4-year old son's hair. He's a bit squirmy but she gets the job done! I have been going to Dana at Bellezza for about 2 years now, and I have always walked out of there extremely satisfied. The entire staff is courteous and professional, and I love being pampered so I feel that every visit is a treat! From when you walk in you are greeted by the front desk which makes you feel like you just walked into one of the most high end NYC salons. Everyone is so pleasant and the overall atmosphere is uplifting and bright. Whenever I go to see Dana, I have a vision in my head of what I want my color and cut to look like... however I can never find the picture to match what I'm thinking. I sit down and describe to her what I *think* I want, and she takes her time looking at my color, and then asks me about how I usually style my hair and how manageable I want the cut to be. By the time my color has processed and she is just about done drying and styling my hair, I am AMAZED every time at how what the vision in my head was and how exact it is to what I see in the mirror. I had written a review before focusing on my color (which I am still highly satisfied with--thanks Michelle! My fun multicolor highlights are perfect!), but I wanted to take a moment to compliment the stylist who cuts my hair, Johnny. I don't style my hair, typically. When I blow dry it, I don't use a brush. The only hair product in my house was left here by other people. I suck at being a girl, basically. You're lucky if I brush my hair before I leave work in the morning. I keep my hair long so I can throw it in a ponytail--easy peasy. However, I do like a change of pace and it takes a good stylist to it my hair so it lays right when I "do" my hair--or rather to understand that I won't do my hair. I have not had my hair in a ponytail since my haircut, and yes, I have washed it! I am loving this haircut. Kudos, Johnny. read more

My hair has gone through quite a transformation from curly to straight which did enough damage for a life time. Dana has "adopted" my hair and has transformed it into beautiful and healthy locks. I LOVE this place. Shannon gives great haircuts, and dries & slightly styles my hair for no additional charge - how rare is that! She's also very nice and pleasant to talk to. Michelle is amazing with color, and the prices here are so affordable. They're great with customer care (offering water/coffee, giving fresh towels and capes), and flexible with appointments. I've gone back a couple times after an appointment to have something tweaked, and they refuse to charge me for it or even accept a tip. They're all very nice, and the place is clean and efficient. I drive an hour and a half to Bellezza and it's so worth the trip! Giuliana does my hair and not only is she sweet and someone you can have a good conversation with but she is so talented. She's one of the few hairdressers I've had that actually listens to what you are going for and doesn't just do what she wants. Most hair dressers just tell you they know how to do bayalage and ombré but if you saw Giuliana's work, you would understand that (this will sound cheesy ‍) it's an art that a lot of hairdressers have not mastered but I guess feel obligated to say they have. I know I'm raving about Bellezza's one hairdresser but they are all talented. I checked out most of their IG pages and their work is just consistently beautiful. The girls who work with your hair at the sinks take their time and make sure you're comfortable. I had a blow out with Johnny once and it was probably the best one I've ever gotten and he was just a pleasure to talk to. They all work together, praise each other's work, and communicate to make sure the clients are happy. The other thing I want to mention bc I feel it's really important is that I never feel uncomfortable when I walk in. Have you ever walked into a somewhat ritzy salon and you just felt this certain sense of snobbiness?!! Is that just me?? I just think everyone is really pleasant and I guess I'm not finding the right words to explain what I mean...lol...there's just no snobby aura there!
