Her spa is located in Greenwood Executive Park, in Building 6. You park at the far left, by door #1, and DTC Spa is downstairs. It's one room, with a bench, spa bed, and equipment. This is a new location for Donna. She checked me in, and redeemed my Groupon. Donna then carefully cleansed my face, steamed it, and began a thorough dermaplaning. She asked me if I wanted her to remove a clogged pore that has plagued me for years, and I said yes. She then asked which enzyme peel I wanted, brightening or acne. We decided that brightening was most appropriate. It's a pomegranate peel, and there was some temporary stinging. Donna massaged my shoulders while the peel was working, then massaged my face, removed the peel, put an LED light box over my face for several minutes, and then applied a toner and sunscreen. My face feels so soft, and the peel didn't irritate my skin at all. This peel doesn't have any downtime. My skin isn't flaking today. Donna is a lovely and charming woman, who has been doing skincare for many years. Her own skin is a testament to her dedication to good skincare. She also does eyelash extensions. Turns out that we both had TERRIBLE experiences at United Nails and Spa. Allergic reactions to their glue. So we bonded over that, lol. This isn't a typical luxurious day spa. It's a one-woman small business. But it was a very relaxing experience, and I'm extremely pleased with the facial services that I received. Donna even asked if I'd like her to zap a small spot on my chin. I haven't experienced this level of extra care at chain spas, at least not without extra charges. This is a very personalized service. I will be recommending Donna to my friends, several of whom have also left Spavia after many years.

They've cancelled and poorly communicated multiple appointments between the 2 electrologists. Cynthia's tells of how rude clients are when they arrive to find no one in the office. I've adjusted my schedule to hers multiple times with a tough work schedule of my own, making the distance and timing a close call. Texting her that I'm in traffic & may be 5-10 minutes late she then threatened to cancel me. One time I walked her dog for her, & when I got back she asked me to help her next client with the first aid kit that she didn't know how to use. The last time I arrived at my appointed time, the office was locked. When I texted Cynthia, she was dismissive, "We wish you luck with your new electrologists" That was July 8th.

I wish to experience some of their other services as I am able and am anxious to continue more neuro-feedback sessions ASAP I have been dealing with neurological health concerns Doctors label as MS since 1993 using natural/alternative methods as I find them. I believe I have done reasonably well and, am fortunate to not suffer with typical issues of this diagnosis. My choice may not be right for others but, I'll take my pain-free life every day over the expensive RX path and avoid the side-effects of the Rx route, thank you all the same.
