Had a major surgery in September and ever since then have been in near constant pain. Sitting, laying down, getting up, nothing was comfortable. I saw some Youtube videos on lift chairs/electronic recliners and thought maybe one of them could help me get through my days. I also know I have more surgeries/procedures in the future. Found Bellevue Healthcare online and Bremerton was the closest one. Stopped in the next morning with a specific model I was hoping to check out. I believe it was Jorge, the branch manager that helped me. They had a similar model, and he was very helpful in showing me the features and letting me check out other options as well. Ultimately they didn't have the model I really wanted. Jorge checked the inventory at other locations and let me know they had the model I was interested in at their Sequim location and that he could bring it to Bremerton for me to check out the next day. I stopped in the next day and they let me just sit/lay in the chair for a good 20 minutes to make sure it met my needs. They gave me a nice little discount and were able to deliver the chair to me in Port Orchard as soon as the next day. Delivery was great, everything was set up, plugged in, and ready to go at no additional cost. The service from start to finish was top notch, and the chair has literally made my daily life bearable and comfortable. Thank you to the team at Bellevue Healthcare in Bremerton.

Tim Gifford and his crew in the custom install portion of the business is top notch and I would highly recommend. My first two vehicles that were converted have now logged over 160,000 mi with the same hand control mechanism. They used the original hand control system from my first vehicle and put it in my second and I still drive that back and forth 58 miles a day to work. Over the last eight years I have never brought the system in for an adjustment because it has worked perfectly this whole time. Besides they paint all the fastener connections so if the paint is cracked then you know it's had movement. Always a quick visual check but still the same old little paint blob's. 8 months ago my mom died and left me some money for me to buy my dream car. A 1970 Buick GS convertible. Only one problem, I'm a wheelchair guy and of course I would have to have it converted. Tim met with me and we came up with a new hand control idea and I just drove it home here to Burien, Washington around 30 miles away from the facility and I just know it's going to be working forever. I'm 50 years old and I have been a customer of Absolute Mobility for the last 10 years. One day I will have to buy one of those beautiful conversion vans in their showroom but "NOT TODAY!!!!... Looking forward to a great summer cruising in the new (old classic) convertible. I've dreamed about this car for the last 20 years. Thanks Tim!! Thanks for turning the dream into reality. Todd Small

I have a simple hand brake installed by Absolute Mobility in Woodinville in 2023. The installation…read moreis fine and the hand brake works without a problem. I was advised that the hand brake should be inspected/maintained each year. Understand this is essentially a rod connected between a hand lever to the brake. Everything is visible; no dismantling is necessary to inspect the hand brake. I was informed that the service charge for looking at the hand brake required 1 hour of service/labor. Mind you, there is nothing wrong. How do these folks justify 1 hour of labor when the job should be completed in 10 minutes?

i was visiting my 93 year old father, who recently moved to the Edmonds Landing retirement home…read more Unfortunately, he had a stroke and has some mobility issues. My lovely brother, Tony bought him an expensive walker. Its a wonderful walker, however designed for a man much larger and more weight than my father. Being a former ergonomic consultant, I could tell that this walker was not suitable for my father. He could care less about my opinion. He just didn't like the expensive walker. I came over to visit him and he requested that I take him here. So we came here, in search of a walker. They are open limited hours, until 3 pm, so my father had not been able to come here before 3 pm. As you walk in, you have a plethora of medical devices available. Wheelchairs, crutches, walkers and every type of medical device one might need. Now the staff is all volunteer. No one is paid to work here. I know in my experience , a walker needs to be individualized. A walker needs to meet the physical requirements of the person using it. Fortunately, we had the services of Mike, a volunteer. He measured every walker and showed the results to my rather stubborn father. There was an excellent walker that met my father's requirements, but he disliked the seat. He would have rarely sat in the seat, but I held my tongue as to my opinion. So, he chose another version. Mike recommend larger rubber tires for my father, as he would use the walker outside. He also adjusted the height of the handlebars, to better suit my father. We spent about two hours, trying out a variety of walkers. My father ended up with a pristine condition walker. Easily collapsible. For 45.00 dollars. Plus, for every purchase you got a variety of personal care items for free. A great experience here. My frugal father was quite pleased with the price he paid. Fortunately, this walker is also collapsable, to reduce space In their tiny retirement home space. Overall, excellent customer service and a great price. They also offer a one week return policy and adjustments, if you are not satisfied. Love the experience here.

Had mother in laws scooter quit working. Called them on a Wednesday. Very nice girl answered and we spoke. She said yes, bring it in, no problem. I arrived and she again was very nice. She brought out a guy. He also was very nice. Tagged it and gave me a claim ticket. Simply called in on Friday just to check in. Got completely chewed out by a very rude lady. She wanted to know why I would bring in a scooter for repair. We don't do that ! She went on and on and was a real bit** about it. Then a guy got on the phone and was also not very nice, but not as bad as the rude lady. I just went and picked it back up. Hey, I called and asked. I was told to bring it in, why would you talk to me like that two days later ? Simply rude. The first girl and guy very nice on phone and in person. The guy and lady on Friday need new jobs if they hate working there. Just rude. What EXACTLY did I do wrong lady ? In my mind, it's pretty simple, if you didn't want to work on it or if you don't work on them, simply just tell me that when I called on the phone instead of saying, sure no problem bring it in and we'll look at it for you.

I established care with Performance Home Medical in Jan 2024 (CPAP rental + DME supplies). After a May 2024 pulmonology visit (notes + RX good for a year), I tried to reorder in early 2025 and was told by Crystal to re-see my pulmonologist and to "get supplies from the internet" in the meantime when I told her I was out. They also failed to bill the 13th rental month (intentionally, I believe, hoping the lapse in rental payments would trigger a new 13 month rental period. Very shady!). I switched to Bellevue Healthcare and had zero issues. In June 2025, staff member Crystal called to place the order I'd needed months earlier; when I said PHM was no longer my supplier and not to contact my doctors, she became rude and threatened collections for my CPAP machine, which would have been mine already if they'd sent that 13th bill. I need these supplies to breathe at night and collections are terrifying! Aside from it being illegal/impossible to send to collections what hasn't been billed, it's unprofessional and cruel for her to make threats like this to a homebound disabled patient. No one this lacking in empathy and competence should be talking to sick people. I'm medically fragile, and that call caused a dangerous symptom spike/drop in my vitals. My caregiver phoned after; another staffer properly notated my account, seeming confused by Crystal's errors and rudeness. Shortly after, Crystal called and left my caregiver a message, acting as if she'd "pulled strings" and done a big favor to invoice the 13th month and leave me alone. No apology, zero accountability. In my experience, this was unprofessional, felt predatory, and demonstrates a medical practice not equipped for complex patients. I would not recommend.
