When phoning, one doesn't have to wait long to have someone pick up the phone. All employee owners I have dealt with were professional, knowledgeable, and fast. I had a medical professional recommend Norco in Everett; I had one that was in Mt. Vernon and they were terrible. I'm glad she did recommend Norco. We ordered 2 mini cpap machines in June. We were told we needed an appointment to pick them up. We called numerous times to set up an appointment to pick them up but never received a call back. Two months later we finally went to the Everett location to speak with someone directly that could help us. It took almost two months to get our cpap machines. This is unacceptable. read more

Service: Won't return phone calls in a respectable window. -Takes 3 days-never calling you back. -Took 5 business days to EMAIL an itemized reciept when I've asked for it before for several months. -Customer service doesn't know what their doing honestly the crew does try but their knowledge is lacking and the ability to take care of the customer versus what is easy and the least amount of work yeah I see you passing the buck and being lazy lol. Heidi promised to be my point of contact after several wrong billing's, ignoring notes, and lack of support she promised to always be there when possible or make sure it gets taken care of. When things fell apart where was she 4 days away that's where. I was without materials due to UPS and customer service fought with me to get another one shipped over night as I'm disabled. They said it would take a week after they investigate. Ups owned they lost it that day and Norco drug their knuckles. So disorganized that they need to be privatized by 1 owner not the workers cuz they have know idea how to take care of customers. As soon as my cpap is paid I'm out. Another holiday weekend (last time was 4th of july) and another time Norco failed to deliver my oxygen tanks. I called them on Saturday after realizing they never dropped off my tanks on Friday and the lady who answered had the audacity to ask me if I had a concentrator implying that I didn't actually need my tanks. If I want to be a prisoner in my own home on a nice holiday weekend. then sure I don't need my tanks! I am now actively working on getting my prescription switched over to a different oxygen company. They have failed me miserably too many times. Normally, smaller family owned businesses are what I like to support but this business is just terrible. read more

NOT I was unaware that there is no trail period for the cpap machines. I tried it for 3 days and on the 4th decided this was not for me. But NO, once you get it you are paying full price. So now they want to charge me $125 after 4 days. Just a SCAM company. They are located in 5 states so if you leave eastward you will not be able to bring it in if something happens but required to still pay for it. I would be looking for a different company. read more

The other day I took my Husband to the V A Doctor. He wanted to know how he was adjusting to oxygen. When I said in the first place we are dealing with NORCO not Apria the Doctor shook his head and said I am sorry . The devise my husband was given was dead. I had to rush him home as the tanks he was give by Norco was empty after just 2 hours of use. I was told the tank would last 4 hours but it was only on 200 when delivered.The batteries on the new advice needed to be charged over night. Neither of them last more then a few hours so we have to take both batteries and a backup tank just to make it to the Doctor and back. It's a totally Nightmare. I too unfortunately use Norco for my C-pap. The girl behind the counter who gave it to me desperately needs a lesson in telling the truth. I asked her several times what my co-pays were. She stated clearly less then $20.00 per month possibility of being even lower then that. I am on SS every penny counts.Just received my first Bill $36.06 and it was mailed to the wrong address toboot! Thank God for mail forwarding. Well let's see if I was lied to about how long I would have to pay co-pays. Miss lier at the front desk said less then a year. I still believe all those raving reviews are phoney. I needed a new mask for my CPAP, so I went to my doctor, got a prescription, and since I work in Everett, I headed over to Norco. Deanna helped me out, and let me tell you, she was amazing! I had no clue what kind of mask I needed, but she gave me all the info I needed and had my new mask ready the very next day. Deanna and the whole team were super helpful and really went above and beyond to get me set up. I even saw them helping an older couple who desperately needed a new CPAP mask but hadn't been to their doctor yet. They made sure they were taken care of too. Customer service can be pretty hit or miss these days, especially in this industry, but Deanna and her team nailed it. I highly recommend them! read more

So far great service . I agree parking is a problem and signage would help ! Had a hose get a hole in it ( my fault ) caught it on the table . So called and they sent me a new one right away , Then My machine was making some noise and they offered to replace it as soon as they got new ones in :) and about a week later called me to come and exchange !! Before I start this review, I should share a little history about my experience with this dismal company. For starters, I came in for an appointment back in January 2022 (that I took the day off work for) and had an appointment with a very nice rep who said she would order more supplies for me. Skip to June of 2022, and after many emails and phone calls, I STILL hadn't received my supplies. I then posted a one star review. A short time later I got a call from the manager who said she had read my review and wanted to make things right. She said that my order had been marked as undeliverable (ridiculous since I never got any notices and I get packages at my condo ALL the time with no problems). So after asking if I would do another review with a better rating, she told me that she would have my order sent to the store and would not charge me for them, since I had so much trouble. I complied and gave them a four star rating (which I now regret). I spoke to her a few times on the phone about picking up my order, but unfortunately the store's hours clashed with my new job hours so I was never able to go and get them, but I was assured that they were there. Granted, it took me several months (ironically after I quit my job, which was in July of 2023...) before I was able to take time on a weekday (Bank hours aren't really flexible) I could take time to drive to the store to get my supplies. But I finally went over there in August of 2023 to pick up my stuff, which I assumed was waiting for me. Before I go any further, I should point out that the location of this facility is horrible. There is a front entrance but if you can't snag one of the parking spaces out front (I believe there are two and one or both are handicapped only), then you're forced to park in the back, where the only way into the building is through another door where you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get in. Hello? This is a place that sells things like walkers and crutches and the only way to get in is via stairs? The area of town isn't that great and walking through an alley to get to the front isn't really safe, either. So anyway, I went in and told the employee that I was there to pick up my stuff. She took my name and then after looking for a few seconds, said they didn't have it. Big surprise there (*eye roll), so I asked her if she could place the order again. She apparently did that but I received no email or any kind of confirmation. And guess what? Yep! NO supplies as of today, October 31, 2023! I don't think she even ordered them because even fast food places will confirm the order and give you a receipt. The thing that compelled me to write this review is that I got a letter from Norco yesterday dated 10/20/23 letting me know that it had been a long time since I had ordered supplies. WHAT??? Seriously? This place is a joke and sadly I haven't used my C-Pap machine in a long time (since I went to that appointment back in 2022). My doctors tell me that I need to use my C-Pap machine, but if I can't even get the supplies, it's kind of pointless. I mentioned it to a doctor a while back who told me to find a different place but so far I haven't had much luck in that department. I am through with this company. If I have to, I'll see if the supplies are available on Amazon because at least they deliver when promised even if it's more money. And to anyone who contacts me asking me to change my review, the answer is NO. One star is more than enough for all of the issues I've had with this place. read more

I have used NORCO for my CPAP supplies for almost 20 years now. In the beginning it was a good relationship. They did their job and we're courteous. However, for the last 3 years I have had problems getting my supplies on time, or at all. It is so bad I will put in an order and make a point to ask if there are any foreseeable problems, they will say no. I ask them to call me if there is, they say ok. 6 to 10 days later when nothing shows up, I call and there will be an issue with insurance or it just hasn't shipped yet (not out of stock). When I asked why they didn't notify me, they said "sorry". The people I talk to are polite, but that only goes so far. Again, I haven't had a trouble free order in over 2 years and its not like I can be preemptive and order early to compensate for the delay. read more

They get one line item in my monthly order wrong every month. The item is one (1) box of thirty (30) pieces. Every month they send one of the 30 items; instead of one box. It then takes one or two additional phone calls and shipments to make my order complete Norco blames the problem on their vendor, which is a lie because the items come from a Norco warehouse. When you want to trust and rely on Norco to deliver ostomy supplies; prepare yo be disappointed and frustrated. read more

Communication is sorely lacking as well as the billing process, I've never known any company to not submit a bill/ invoice for payment but instead they submitted a quote, seriously, a quote? Would you submit $4,900.00 without an invoice or bill? but a quote. Yet that's exactly what Norco expects this customer to do. I did read another review that stated to examine your recipte , invoice , quote or whatever they give you that shows payment very carefully for additional charges and differences btw actual goods received as this company is not all they portray in my opinion read more

recently went to a CPAP education class. Even though I have worn a CPAP for years the class was very beneficial. It is important to have a hands on class. This allowed the instructor to properly fit you with the correct mask and double check the patient set the machine up correctly. The Clinical instructor, Tanya H. was very knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of businesses are going to virtual appointments. I feel there would be a lot lost in CPAP education with virtual. Very important to have a in-person class. read more

I had a super experience with Norco recently. I was there to discuss my existing c-pap machine and receive some updated equipment. Everything was explained to me so thoroughly and patiently that it was completely understood. I was also told what and when to expect new equipment. As I waited, I overheard employees on the phone who were just as polite and kind. I even mentioned my awesome experience to my sleep doctor and he was pleased. So when I call them they tell me that I can not get another machine UNLESS I was a new customer. So what do I do now? My insurance said to use Norco but Norco won't help me. I am very, very unhappy with this place- to the point of switching supply providers. However I'm stuck with Norco for my cpap for a while longer. I was unable to use my cpap mask because it caused me pain and I requested a recommendation for another one. It took about TWO WEEKS for them to get back to me with alternatives meanwhile I could not use my mask. So what did they do? THEY BILLED ME $110 for non-compliance. I am disabled and unable to work. I do not have $110 to spend. Even though they promised they would warn me before billing they did not. The billing department claims there is "nothing" they can do. No reasonable parking available, lobby reeks of urine and customer service very lacking. Went to pick up my new cpap machine that they told me would be ready after 4pm. After waiting in line for 30 min to be seen, was surprised to learn my machine wasn't ready as promised. Waited another 10 min and it was ready to go. Lady at front desk seemed nice enough, but surprised me by stating I needed to pay $27 today for my modem and provide her with a credit card to put on file for my monthly rental fees. Monthly rental fees?! Since I'm covered by multiple "Cadillac" insurance plans, not used to paying any copay, and was under the impression that the new machine was to be purchased by my insurance to replace my 8 year old machine, I asked the nice lady if she could explain the copay as well as the need to put my card on file for monthly rental charges. Reasonable request, so I thought, but she immediately elevated my questions to her supervisor. Weird After waiting another 5 minutes, her supervisor approached me with a very over caffeinated, aggressive demeanor. I politely asked if she could explain the charges/need to put my credit card on file, and why this was the first time I'd heard any of this. She said "Look, you are obviously lacking sleep and can use this new machine more than you realize. Just give me your credit card and we will get you on your way." I reminded her that she wasn't my doctor and would appreciate it if she would leave the medical advice to the professionals. She reminded me of her right to refuse service, at which time I took my card from her hand and got the heck out of dodge. I've got much better things to do with my precious time and much more professional establishments I'd rather direct my hard earned insurance benefits and resources to. Im a disabled combat vet and a successful people manager. I won't put up with such poor customer service and complete lack of respect from any business that expects to receive my resources, especially a DME provider who should be expected to have at least an ounce of compassion. The first thing that bothers me is that street parking is rare, and there is no elevator from the back parking lot. It's an old building, so it's understandable, but those stairs are difficult! Anyway, my husband and I are lucky enough to both have CPAP machines...We used to go to the supplier by the Navy base and got great service there: during your appointment the staff person would have a whole bunch of masks to try on. They would turn on a CPAP machine so you could really feel how it would be at home. That was so helpful! We've been to Norco in Everett a few times. They do keep very busy, but the front desk staff has been happy to help. However, we went back in June so I could get a new mask, as a plastic piece broke on it. That was a problem, because the warranty was up. I was supposed to bring the old one in (I still don't understand why they would have to send the broken one back to their warehouse; I think my insurance company didn't want it either, and know I wasn't just making it up. They didn't't have the same one I had that broke, and showed me several, but when I put it up to my face to try on, the staff person almost yelled at me to put it down. She said customers couldn't try it on because of passing germs. Uh, disinfectant anyone? I'm not sure how to find one that's comfortable without trying it on, right? Next she told me to tilt my head and she sized my nostrils for the new nasal pillows by looking up my nose. What??!! When I told her the sizes I previously wore she totally contradicted me. Wow. I began flashing back to a TV ad that ended with "Millennials, am I right?!" She also completely criticized the other supplier, which I thought was the next unprofessional thing. Then we she saw in my records that I wasn't due for a replacement. She did help us with the replacement, because there were some extra steps to do and approval from someone else but it seemed very inconvenient for her. Her tone of voice was just plain snotty despite our patience and good humor. Everyone has a bad day, and some have better social skills than others, but that's why maybe they shouldn't be in customer service. It has been about 3 weeks since my headgear was supposed to arrive. By now I'm exhausted and am getting TMJ migraines. When I called today I found out that someone read that I wasn't due for a replacement until September. So he cancelled the order and no one contacted me. Again, the front desk receptionist was very helpful and kind, but she didn't seem surprised. Now I'm waiting for a call back from the original gal who tried to keep me in my place. I'm not sure how much patience I have left because my head and neck are really hurting. I will try to keep this post updated, and would love to re-write this with a better customer service report. I will be expecting my headgear to be overnighted, but my mom always told me to keep my hopes high and my expectations low. read more

The worst experience ever. I've had problems since day one (almost a year ago). First off, I could not get an in person mask fitting for over 3 months. I was told to call and schedule one, and was then refused on the phone because it was "past my 30 day trial period". Many things have happened since then, but the most recent being missing a $200 credit towards my bill. They instead credited my insurance $100, but I was still being billed $200 for supplies I returned, and insurance should not have been credited anything. I went to talk in person, was told they couldn't do anything and they'd have the billing department call me (never got that call). Now getting calls threatening to be sent to collections. I needed to get a nebulizer for my mom ASAP. She is on a nebulizer four times a day. The one she had broke that morning. It was purchased online because it seemed going through insurance would be tedious. I was wrong about the hassle - the staff at Norco made the process very easy. In fact once the doctor faxed over the order and chart notes I was able to get the machine in about 45 minutes. My mom would have ended up in the hospital again because of her COPD if I did not get this nebulizer. Thank you Norco staff. read more

If i can give no stars I will. This place is terrible. I had an ankle operations in Everett. This place sent a wheelchair because I was supposed to rent one since I will not be mobile for awhile. The wheelchair is really bulky and wide to the point, I was not able to use them in my tiny home. The wheelchair is wider than your door frame! How can I benefit from the wheelchair?? Best of all, I received 2 medical insurance claims. They charged me the wheelchair rental and an extra for the "extra-wide" wheelchair seat as "manual accessory". I did not ask for an extra wide seat. It was shovelled into my hands and they demand additional payment. I tried speaking to them, they pushed the blame to the insurance claiming that is how insurance companies want them to file the charges. I don't think that is how honest businesses are run. read more

The service here is terrible. They have no operator or receptionist. You have to wait for someone that does not have a clue. I have asked Norco not to send a replacement machine 5 times but they are sending it anyway. Mine is under recall. Since I cannot stand the noise or the feeling of forced air I do not want one. i want my money back and the seller always pasts the blame onto the manufacturer. They never answer the phone and their email says do not reply. this is the poorest operation I have seen in years. If I do not get some service. I am going to turn the into the AG and Get Jessie so they will be on the news. I have been on hold for 30 minutes and no one has answered the phone. This is the worst service. No support rep has ever spoken to me. Medicare will not cover this and they are supposed to. read more

My husband started his cpap journey just over a year ago. Norco's trainer was great to schedule one on one training with him because of his work schedule. She answered all his questions. Getting the machine so quickly was a huge help to him. He is feeling and sleeping so much better. We had an on going billing issue with the insurance. Norco continues working with us to get it straightened out. Some companies would have given up and expected the consumer to pay up front and get it fixed with insurance on our own. Norco stood with us to get it fixed. Can't thank you enough for helping us get it all started and the billing corrected. read more

Update to my initial experience: the same day (Friday) I received a call from Diana from Norco Medical who left a voicemail apologizing for my experience, and offered to ship or deliver my pump once it was back in stock. I called back today (the following Monday), and spoke with Diana who was very sincere and truly demonstrated a desire to make this situation right. She empathized with the issues that I had regarding parking and getting to the facility due to some significant construction on the surrounding streets. Diana made arrangements to ship my pump to me, and even called back to say that she had decided that they would drop off the pump today to ensure that I would get it as soon as possible. My pump was delivered to my house by 5:30pm the same day. While there are some opportunities to improve this process to ensure a better experience for their clients, I must say that I have not experienced better service recovery efforts in this industry. read more

This is one of the worst companies to try to get a prescription filled. If you're not spending thousands of dollars each month with norco they will not even bother with you. This is a terrible company I wouldn't recommend it to anybody if you can find anywhere else to go please go there you'll be a lot happier. That's my opinion of this business. Unprofessional people working down there rude. When you go to pick something up and they're too busy for you they will just leave you sitting in their office.
